I have used WOB a few times in the past and never had any issue. The quality of the used books have always passed my expectations. However, two books in my most recent order have been refunded without any cancellation or notification - so there's room for improvement within the service

I ordered 5 books and three were as described 'as new', 'new' and 'very good condition'. Very satisfied with them. Poems, poets, poetry was described as very good condition. Please see photos. It's dogeared, very well used, bowed covers with extensive notes, squiggles and underlinings throughout. This really is one to be pulped. The epic of Gilgamesh is I guess in very good condition except for the pinc highlighter used throughout the first half of the book. See photo. A mixed bag.

I have ordered several books from Wob. The price is good and the condition is always as described and several of teh books I have bought have been gifts for other people. It's a great way to get new books to read.

Have bought a few times from WOB, going back to when they were World of Books. Always easy to find something of interest, order, and books are sent out promptly. Books are in the advertised condition - pre-loved but not tatty (at least mine haven't been!).

I ordered a book from WOB online and never received it, so about 3 weeks in I emailed them and they said the book was not in good condition so it couldn't be sent out out to me. But why not let me know, then I asked about my refund and no response yet, it's been a week. Stay away at all costs.

I paid £3.45 for a £1 book I have messaged about this but after 3/4 days I have had no response I am very disappointed

The books are always great condition, fast postage. No complaints. I would buy from WOB again, happily.

Usually find multiple copies of old or out of print books on WoB. Prices are reasonable. Book are always as described and in good or as new condition. Shipping is fast & efficient. Recommended.

Not a good experience with World of Books! I have received 2 duplicate orders as I thought the first order was cancelled. It would be far better to have customer service on the phone rather than a chat bot which is not easy and that is how problems arise. I have received 2 books which should be in very good condition, one was covered in writing across several pages and another had a cover that was coming completely away from the spine. I have now been offered a replacement of the 2 books which are due to be dispatched soon. However I will then end up with 3 copies of the 2 books, I would like a refund, but yet again trying to contact customer service in time is probably impossible. A phone number is essential to avoid these problems.

The book was described as being in "good condition", the cover and first couple of pages have a 5 centimeter tear in them- not what I would call good condition. I paid over £5, and on the cover, there's a sticker barely covering a Cancer Research price sticker, I feel conned!

The book I ordered arrived well packaged and in goid condition.
I am very pleased at the price of the book.
And a bonus that the postage is free!
A huge saving for me.
