Great range of books on every subject, accurate descriptions, low prices, reliable deliveries - I've always found WOB to be an excellent place to buy my books

I have been trying to get a copy of this book for ages and found the book on WOB. The description of the book was Very Good, when it arrived it was PERFECT. I don't think that it had every been read so I was really pleased. This is the second book I have brought from WOB and will do so again.

I have purchased from WOB before and been pleased, HOWEVER this time the books that I received were nowhere near the Very Good condition stated. They were also filthy!
I have contacted them but have had no response so far.

Ordered 4 Flip Flap books (spiral bound) for my grandson, all were advertised as 'very good' - 2 of them were in very poor condition, ripped and spiral broken. They were replaced but I would like to know why they were picked and packed in such poor condition in the first place!

I have ordered from WOB.com three times now and without a doubt is my favourite source or buying books. It's so affordably cheap and the quality is amazing. Yes some books can be a bit frayed and other defaults but that is to be expected with second hand books. I'm definitely going to be using this website in the future as a source of buying books and you should too. There's a huge array of books from fiction novels to graphic novels. There's even video games and CDs. I rate it 5 stars cause personally I've had no issues what so ever and I'm overall massively pleased with the results and conditions my books come in.

Last month I wrote about my experience relating to the first order I'd placed direct with WoB. In that review I mentioned that two of the three "very good" condition books I'd received were more creased than I would have expected, and the third had been defaced with library stamps and an irremovable library label. This was disappointing, because I've bought books from WoB before, but always via Amazon, and they've always been as described. This made me wonder whether WoB applies lower standards for direct orders, or, more charitably, whether it was the result of a one-off aberration.

With that in mind, I recently placed a second direct order for four books in very good condition and received two which I would say might reasonably meet that description, the third has a stained cover and the fourth has a heavily creased cover and spine, several pages which have turned down corners and, throughout the book, a great many pencil notes in the margins and portions of text which have been underlined - I've managed to erase the scribblings, but that's hardly the point.

Prompt service, very good prices, a huge wide range of books...and free postage! What more could you want?

Ordered 2 books, parcel arrived with 1 book. It took a while and several emails, but the issue has now been resolved satisfactorily. Apart from this WOBble (sorry) they're still my favourite bookstore.

WOB have a great selection of books and It's my go to bookstore,I especially like their choice of books on Artists and have purchased many Tate exhibition books at a reduced price over the years.The service is fantastic as fast delivery and very well packaged.WOB was a great find for me many years ago and I love books so have added to my collection on music,Art books and the odd rare book I have found there.Great condition books at fabulous prices you really cannot go wrong.

Ordered 4 books and received them today they are all in good condition so I'm very happy and will use WOB again

Ordered several books and a couple of them arrived not fit for purpose, brown crispy pages, old pages. These books not fit for purpose. Wob need to sit down and review who deals with the quality control of used books. Will use other used book sellers in future. Shame really because up until now wob books were not posted in the condition of infested with sunburn page rot.

I've ordered a few books now from WOB and I will keep on doing so. For some books you'd hardly know they were second hand! Others you can tell but they're still in good condition, and at the price you can't grumble! Delivery is always spot on too! Thanks WOB!

Always got what l wanted from Wob, plus the books are in great condition and very good price. Will certainly be back for more.

Having placed my order for 4 books, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality which exceeded my expectations and speed of delivery. Excellent and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company.

I've had problems in the past with other online booksellers claiming "in excellent condition, like new", etc etc and the book arrives and it's not even close. Wob delivered! Very pleased with the condition of the book, stated it was in excellent condition and in reality, it's like new. Arrived quickly, no tears, smudges or bent pages. Will order again from Wob!

Book arrived quickly in better description than described for a very good price. Very happy customer.

Bought an old book but got a newer edition. When queried I was told picture on the web page is computer generated. So the lesson is check the ISBN no. (But in my case the nook was so old it didn't have an ISBN). As the picture may well not be the edition of the book you think it is. WOB did say they would refund with evidence of postage but I gave given both (!) incorrect versions to charity. WOB you need to check manually that the picture IS the book your selling.
