I have now ordered at least a dozen times with WOB; each time I have found delivery and state of the books first class, with most of the books I could not tell that they were second class, plus with free delivery if you like what more is there to say, except go ahead and purchase to your hearts content.

I've been using Wob for a couple of years now and always found them to offer a great service. Books are always as described and delivered in a timely fashion.

Books are very competitively priced, good quality for second hand & the ordering, tracking & speed of delivery is all very easy and clear. Highly recommended.

I ordered several books and received them in good packaging. They sent me texts letting me know where my order was at, when it was processed and when my order was in transit to me and when my order would arrive at my house. Was very pleased with condition of the books.

Ive bought 5 books from wob and have generally been satisfied, with 1 of them been tatty. Delivery has always been quick with good communication. I find some of their books relatively expensive so pick the books carefully. Have also sold books on Ziffit and the poor price they give you for excellent condition books make a good profit for WOB. They have a good choice so always check them out.

Ordered a used book. Quality was like new. For free postage it was delivered within 5 days of ordering. I frequently use wob for books etc. pricing is really reasonable and free delivery wob for me is a must.

Was really struggling to find the Mick Inkpen books that my children adored to share with my youngest grandchild but here they are……delighted :). Ordered three books, saved and extra 20% all with free delivery……what's not to love xx

Both my grandson and daughter have enjoyed tremendously each gift. The standard of the books are impressive. As a child all my books were second hand as we called them and because of that we had many more books than we would have to enjoy. The touch and smell of a book that's been cared for just added to the experience. My grandson, now he's older probably wouldn't use s real book if his own. My only regret is my eyesight prevents me from enjoying the same. I have my tablet thankfully but if I start smelling books but not reading them my family would lock me up.

Great service. I love being able to use WOB if they have the book I want available. Free delivery on any book and the book condition has always matched the description. Books normally received within a few days of order. Fabulous to use an ethical company.

I ordered three books from World of Books, which were described as being in very good condition. Not true. I ordered these specific editions because I collect the Agatha Christie facsimile editions. So the books must be in very good condition to add to my collection.

The first one I received was a dirty ex-library copy from England. World of Books described the book as very good and did not indicate it was an ex-library copy. The pages were brown and stamped and the spine was out of alignment. This is why I never order ex-library copies.

The second book had a price sticker on the front cover that would not come off without destroying the dust jacket. And it had damage on the corner of the book where a chunk of the corner was torn off. Both of these defects were not mentioned in the description.

The third book looked fine, except for a tear on the belly band, which was not indicated in the description.

I will not be purchasing anything from World of Books in the future. The descriptions and photos are not accurate, while the prices are high for books in terrible condition.

I have begun buying secondhand books from World of Books and have been impressed by the books I have received, the speed of delivery and the price of the books. I have contacted the company with queries and have had helpful responses. Very impressed and will continue to buy books from this site and recommend to others.

I regularly buy books from WoB here in the U. K. and have never had any problems. Great prices and service. I am never disappointed if a book is not in perfect condition as that is the nature of second hand. If people have written in them I feel a connection with the last person to read it so that doesn't bother me at all.(maybe that's because I studied archaeology) Thankyou WoB, you kept me sane during covid lockdowns!
