Not only do they lave an astounding amount off books being offered, but price and HONEST condition evaluation were what drove me to try Wob. Super fast shipping and continual communications as to shipment status and location a +++. Will use again.

I have ordered a lot of books from world of books and been very impressed with the service, delivery which is free and value for money. I am part of a book club and recommended this to my book club as well as family and friends.

In the last couple of months I have ordered several lots of books from WoB.

The prices were good, postage is free, delivery quick and there are often discounts available for multi-buy. The quality of the books as described are, to me usually conservative with those coming under a 'very good' umbrella often like new.

All in all it is difficult to fault WoB and I shall certainly use them again. My partner Jean and I are both in our seventies and avid readers over a number of genres. WoB gives us the opportunity to purchase our books at a reasonable price without the hassle and expense of trawling the large book shops.

I have used WoB a few times, and I'm sorry to report that it might be a while before I order again; the book I ordered had stated that it was in 'good' condition, when in fact, there were stain marks all over the pages and it was generally in a very poor condition.

To me your service is a lifeline - so thank you!
Within 24 hours, the last book I was chasing (which had originally ‘sold out') to my delight and disbelief, another had become available:)
I am disabled and virtually housebound, so it's not possible for me to search the shops for a bargain etc. I feel ‘at home' with ‘WOB' and appreciate all your efforts. Thank you for this service :) and your exciting ‘trademark' packaging, so I always know its you!

Good value used books, always in the condition they are described, well packed and quickly despatched are the main reasons I have become a regular WOB user. Overall a faultless service.

A hardback copy of this book arrived, when I emailed, to tell you,, you replied that as a goodwill gesture you would refund me 30% of the price or if I returned it (it was a big heavy book) I would be refunded. I emailed you again and explained I can, t read small print so I never ordered the print version anyway so the mistake was yours, the reply was a refund and a trip to the charity shop to dispose of the unwanted item.
So the result of my last transaction was a walk to the charity shop and I still haven't got what I ordered, so I, m sorry but I, m not impressed.

I ordered a book called 'Traces of Vermeer', it is fascinating and gives great insight into what is known about a rather elusive artist. The book is in good condition and has great colour plates which helps whilst discussing the details of each painting. I thoroughly recommend World of Books for service and for their ethics, recycling charity shop books. I read avidly so they are high on my list for browsing for second hand books.

I've used other online book sellers in the past and I find that WOB is a good source for hard to find copies. They are very comparable price wise and have very quick shipping. Highly recommend

WOB is an amazing service, giving books a second chance in life. I have been using the service for a while now and It never fails to amaze me - The prices are unmatched, I can buy a book for a fraction of its original cost. The quality of the books is also phenomenal, with most looking like new, or having minimal wear. The delivery is also really fast and free which is always good :)

I have brought several books from World of Books recently, both new and ones not in print and I have been really pleased with them all a very useful web site especially for Childrens books and out of print,
