Having used WoB for years I have found almost all the purchases are of the quality & condition I expected. On the two occasions I had reason to question the book condition the issue was quickly rectified. The books are usually at least as good and often much better than I hoped for. Being a compulsive purchaser of books WoB helps find a good home for previously loved volumes.

Excellent company. Their customer services are extremely helpful. They offer a wide collection of books all in very good condition.

Couldn't get these books from library. These 4 books were part of series. Came very quickly and were in good order. Can't fault anything.

Absolutely love WOB for choice and price! I buy 'used' books which saves me money, but, and here's the thing... the books are all in excellent 'as new' condition. The best of both worlds in my opinion.

I wanted more of the Hamish Mcbeth books by mc Beaton. Not only were the used books in excellent condition they were cheaper than Amazon and free delivery. They were also dispatched quickly!

Excellent books, usually in very good condition - and sometimes books that are very hard to find, including books in languages other than English. I'd prefer them to be packed in paper rather than plastic, but otherwise, full marks!

Very reliable as ever! Am enjoying Richard Coles, Murder Before Evensong more than I expected. Well written, good characterisation, especially Canon Clement. Can't quite make out when it's set - 80s, 90s?

Wanted to reread The Aeneid as my copy could not be found. I heard some music on BBC radio 3 which was inspired by the story of the foundation of Rome and wanted to revisit this seminal work. The copy I bought from WOB was edition I had as a student - so rather ancient itself. Showed signs of wear and tear but perfectly fit for purpose!

I usually find wob a great source of books but this occasion was disappointing.

I ordered a copy of Palace Walk by Naguib Mahfouz and opted for the 'very good' copy but it definitely was not. The book is very worn and a bit dirty (which might be acceptable for 'very good') but also there are a lot of notes all the way through the book. The notes are in hard pencil but so comprehensive as to be heavily distracting and would take an age to go through and erase them all.

I'm afraid it does put me off ordering again.

I can recommend WOB to everyone who is looking for books that are not available any more in new bookstores, they provide good quality books, delivery is always on time and prices are also good

I have been buying from Wob for a few years now and I have always been impressed by the sheer range of fantastic books on offer... very easy site to use... thumbs up all around
