Quick initial delivery of my order and when I raised a problem this was dealt with quickly and a replacement book with me the following day. Excellent service

Bought a book in good faith.
WRONG book sent, email correspondance is SO slow, they refuse to admit fault and tell me to PAY myself to return the book (my costs!) and then Ill get refunded book cost only,

My order contained a book written centuries ago. Wob had copies to choose from at different prices.

A fast and reliable service, they picked and packed the order within a day of the book being released. The book came as described.

I bought two classical CDs which were amazing value considering their excellent, as new condition. The service and delivery was as always with WOB - perfect!

Hopeless service. Bought a book.ordered 19/1/23.Vintage reprint "Canvas Canoes " Ref WGB*******,. £9.99. Not what I expected, Returned carefully on 27/1/23, with ALL my contact details,even paying extra for first class and extra wrap. Heard nothing since, yet I bought previously from WoB. Both phone nos lisred on web are incorrect!. Is this some sort of cowboy operation, or just penny pinchers?as impossible to contact.

WOB is a wonderful opportunity to find quality hardback books and build an affordable home library. Excellent!

The above CD, Nick Hayward From Monday to Sunday was described as being in very good condition. On receipt,pretty obvious it wasn't, paid over £5 for it,not worth that

Was going to give one star but this is my first negative experience with wob

When ever I order and purchase books from World of Books, I am in anticipation for them to arrive. I look for the Postman each day. I have had so much enjoyment from the books bought through World of Books.
This is because ar 78 years old this month I hope to be able to continue enjoying many more books in the future. Well done World of Books and it has been a pleasure to be able to have the books of my choice at a price I can afford.

I was looking for a rare book at an affordable price. Wob not only had the book available, but sent it promptly, and at a price that beat all other competitors. This plus its ethical principles makes it my go-to site when looking for books now.

Ordered 4 books two were in the condition as stated. The other two definitely not. Have messaged then numerous times, but not getting any response.

I have ordered more Cds, one came damaged, I have accepted a replacement and when I received a replacement it was a completely unknown artist to me. I paid for a Jon Bon Jovi cd and I have received something they probably had in stock for ages. Customer service stopped responding and I am not able to
Get hold hold of them since last week.
Meantime I found another provider and I will never order from WOB again. Waste of money, time.

Book did not arrive and no correspondence to say why or refund. Difficult to get hold of, to get a refund. Still waiting

Book was advertised as 'Like New' and, for the most part, was.

There was a small amount of damage on the lower spine (Hardback Game manual) but this was easily repaired and as the book was less than a third of the full price I was easily able to overlook this - others feelings may differ on this.

I've ordered multiple books from Wob and so far have only had extremely prompt service, delivery and quality from them.

I don't understand why World of Books send heavy hardback books through the main in what is essentially a plastic bag. My last three orders have turned up damaged and its an inconvenience to have to resolve it instead of just getting on and reading the book. I just opened the book to discover it's aso ex-library, but there was no mention of this.

If you like your books in the condition they're listed as, avoid World of Books.
