I have spent the last 6+ months with extreme back pain. It would wake me up every night, and I spent many hours awake in the middle of the night unable to go back to sleep, waking up every morning in excruciating pain. That bring said, a comfortable bed that could help my back pain was imperative. This bed has been a God send. It is quite firm, but definitely still very comfortable. I am mostly a side sleeper, but occasionally end up on my back. Although it hasn't taken away my back pain 100%, my back pain is SO much better. And if it does wake me up, I fall back asleep very quickly. I've only had it for a week, so I cant speak to it's longevity yet, but I am having some of the beat sleep of my adult life, ans that is worth the price!
