We just purchased our second Winkbed mattress. I bought the first after lots of research and it didn't let us down after 7 years of use. Plenty of support to prevent back pain but soft enough to fall into and feel cozy at night. We only replaced our mattress as we purchased a different sized bedframe while updating our bedroom suite. Purchase this is you like the feel of a memory foam mattress with the support and give of a spring mattress.

As advertised. Mattress came fast. Setup was as advertised. Did not find the knife in the box or in the plastic but that's ok.

We had been sleeping on a +/-15 year old Serra and it was definitely showing its age. Both of us a primarily side sleepers and were tired of waking up sore and tired. The NYT Wirecutter has been a go to on a number of purchases and so that was our go to when choosing a mattress. They have already done all the leg work to narrow down our choices. We then went to our local Sandman Sleep store to try out some of our options. We tried the a couple of Brooklyn mattresses as well as three wink options among a few others in the store and came away loving the Softer Wink. "They" say that when you find the right fit for you, you know. And what the heck, it's guaranteed to be the right fit or your money back.
6 weeks later and my what a difference. Almost immediately the shoulder pain subsided and sleep quality improved. I was a bit hesitant as it was described as maybe a bit soft for a guy my size@ 6' 230 lbs. Nope, I / we have zero regrets. We comment often about how we are both sleeping so much better and no longer feel tired when we wake. Highly recommended especially for side sleepers and even occasional back sleepers.

It was quick and easy. I look forward to seeing how the product feels.

So far, mind you we are not even 30 days in on the trial yet, however, sleep is better.

Quick and easy! Website was good. I liked that it was made entirely in the U.S. AND it was a quality bed. You don't see made in U.S. and a quality product in the same sentence much these days.

Fast, easy and tons of info on their website. Once I made up my mind to go with Wink and placed the order to receiving the bed it was a week. They kept me informed on the progress of my bed from being made to being shipped along with UPS tracking.

When going to order it says it may arrive as soon as xxxxx if you order today. So I ordered based on that and arranged for a pickup to occur the next day. When I saw it hadn't shipped yet, knowing it says they are all handmade in Wisconsin, I knew it was not gonna work with removal of old bed. I wrote to customer service and asked, was told in what sounded like a condescending reply why you should
Wait to have new one delivered before arranging removal of old mattress. Well I did it based on what website said, for delivery date. So don't advertise the date if you aren't able to do it.

It did come in around that date anyway but maybe the person who wrote back could have said oh it should make it as it ships from xxxxxx and by FedEx ground it takes a day to get there. Something like that. They did explain it was being made on xxxxxx day so they would have known what should happen with the delivery without the advice that I could have done without. I have a limited amount of space so an extra mattress isn't easy to deal with waiting and scheduling after the fact.

Very easy to use website, I appreciate the military discount for veterans!

We had never heard of Wink before finding NapLab as we looked for a mattress for our new apartment. We decided on Wink given the very high score at NapLab, and we've been very pleased with the result. I highly recommend!

Great experience overall - it's not an inexpensive mattress, but it's worth the cost

I researched mattresses for a month and even contacted a sleep lab. I filled out a questionnaire to learn what mattress was best for my needs. I have had two back surgeries and I am a side sleeper. I also sleep hot, so after answering the questionnaire my results indicated that a Winkbed was top choice. I continued my research on Winkbeds and the second and third choice for my situation. I read reviews on all, and came to the conclusion that the Winkbed was my best choice. Also, it was important to me that it was made in America. I love my new mattress and would purchase another one in the future. Thank you Winkbeds for making a bed when the order is placed, and not making ahead of time unnecessarily. The wait was worth it!

I initially tried the Luxury Firm since that was what most reviews recommended. However, I'm a side-sleeper and it was way too hard for me and left me sore in the mornings.

I contact WinkBed and they offered to exchange my bed with their SOFTER Winkbed, so I figured I'd give it a try. The SOFTER WinkBed is so much better for side-sleeping. I had reservations due to having a miserable couple of nights sleeping on a PURPLE Plush Soft mattress at my inlaws, but this SOFTER WinkBed is the Goldylocks bed, not too soft not too firm. Just right.

I originally purchased the 'luxury firm' which is WinkBeds mid softness mattress feeling confident that I could return it if it wasn't for me. That mattress was not good for me as a solo side sleeper (5' 11" and 185lbs) since it gave me should pain as it didn't give enough leaving me perched on top of it and the arm under my body compressed. When returning using the no-questions-asked format, I was instantly contacted and asked questions about why I was returning it. The agent convinced me that the 'softer' version would be the answer to all my problems. Sadly the softer still doesn't work for me. The soft top is definitely softer and spongier, but it feels like a layer of sponge lying on a bed of springs (which it is of course), the problem is that I can still feel the springs through the soft top. It is also quite warm to sleep on. I would certainly not recommend the luxury firm for a side sleeper and in honesty can't recommend the softer either. You can do better with a mattress half the price. Heck I would go so far to say that a tempurepedic mattress topper laid on any mattress would be as good if not better. I am a single man and used the mattresses alone. Can't report of the comfort of the mattresses when shared with a partner.

Perhaps I am a genuine outlier, but I am suspicious of the average 4.8 star reviews, for the money just doesn't seem right. At this price point I want a better product, not better marketing.

The exchange process is not quite what you'd think either. Very quick, but they did not take away the old 'luxury firm' mat - which I have to store in my garage. There must be a lot of people with space constraints who are unable to store multiple mattresses for weeks. When I am able, I will return both.
