I've been a customer for many years. I like the wines But fed ex and wine insiders customer service is the worst. I bought 15 bottles with a magnum gift. I ordered this responding to a one day special on December 24,2021. After fed ex saying it would be delivered at the end of the day on the 27th. I took off from work early to be home to sign for my wine. About 8pm I got a text that the delivery was delayed. It went from Vacaville to Fairfield to Sacramento. I got a text it would arrive a few days later. Took off from work, text saying it's been delayed. I called and spoke to people in the Philippines, South America and 2 different fed ex supervisors. I was told my wine went to Chicago. Couple of days later my wine was in New Mexico and then Arizona. By January with no help in site I called and cancelled my order. No one has called me to apologize and I'm still waiting for my money. Sadly they have just lost me as a customer. I'm out over 300 for leaving work early. I discovered Wine Insiders three years ago when I received an unbeatable offer to try a selection of their wines. Since that time, I have made many purchases and am always completely satisfied with not only the wines but the transaction, too. Wine Insiders' website is easy to maneuver, and the search feature functions well. One specific feature I appreciate is that, with each shipment, I am given a code which allows me to unlock extensive tasting notes for each bottle in that case. The tasting notes provide much more information on the wine than is available otherwise as well as pairing notes. Despite the fact that I live in a rural area, delivery is expeditious, even with recent shipping slow downs. Another positive feature that I appreciate a great deal is that I am not committed to purchasing wine on any sort of schedule; shipments are not regularly sent each month or quarter, nor do I have to notify a vendor to stop a regular shipment if I don't want it. I order wine when I want it, and only when I want it. Because of my satisfaction with Wine Insiders, I have recommended them to friends and family and received positive comments from them.

I have been buying most of my wine from Wine Insiders for some years now. You won't find "big" name brands at Wine Insiders, however you WILL find top quality wine from around the world at excellent prices. Over the years there are some wine makers that we have come to really enjoy, mostly from Italy. However, I have never had one sub-par bottle of wine from them, ever. ALL of the wine they carry is very good to excellent. Shipping is generally free with 6+ bottles and they often run sales where you can get bottles that would retail for $20+ for about $9.
Delivery is generally in a few days after an order. Can't recommend enough.

Why? Because you will not be prepared for the joy of the taste you are about to receive. Upon receiving my first order of wine, my expectancy was not high. We've enjoyed pairing wines with our dinners for 30 years now. For at least 15 of those, we enjoyed shopping local wine stores to pick our selections.
