No Christmas Turkey

I ordered a turkey from W-S 3 weeks before Christmas. I had 12 people coming for dinner and received an email confirmation for 12/23. No Turkey. I got a call late (around 8:30) on the 23rd letting me know they had lost my turkey and did not know where it was. Actually they said it was UPS's fault but that they could no longer guarantee my delivery. I live on Martha's Vineyard. Finding a turkey for that many the day before Christmas was NOT going to happen. Anyway, they called me 10 mins later to say they thought they had found my turkey and that they were 99% sure it would arrive before noon on the 24th... NO TURKEY! Also, they close at noon on the 24th through the 26th so there was no one to answer my calls. Christmas comes and goes... no turkey. I defrosted some leftovers for my guests and we had some good sides!. Of course I am expecting to hear from this company with some sort of excuse AND an apology. SILENCE. They have not reached out at all, and I have called 3 times to complain. I want a written apology from this company and there needs to be some accountability.
So far there are 12 very underwhelmed people who are clear on the Williams Sonoma lack of service and reliability, and I will be sharing this story with anyone who will listen.
Just send me an apology people!

Ordered on 10/28, delayed to 11/5,11/9,11/17 all without and email or call. Agreed to expedite ship- never came. Told me it was cancelled because it was off policy. Never called or emailed to tell me. Still waiting for original order to ship even though they say it is no in stock. Enuf said!

I'm writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with William Sonoma. I signed up to get the 10% off + Free Shipping off my order and received the promo code in an email.

Upon entering the promo code, I discovered there's no difference in the discount provided compared to the Free Shipping (SHIP4FREE) discount code. See attachment.

How can 10% off + Free Shipping Discount = Free Shipping Discount? That makes NO sense.

If I had known that the 10% code would be worthless, I would not have jumped through hoops to provide my email address. And I will have to reconsider ever shopping with a company with deceptive marketing practices.

Oh, you cook?

This is where we go to walk in a circle through the store to see how much everything costs and how no one will assist you. We look at each other and smile because it is a great store with the most expensive kitchen appliance accessories anywhere. What we most love is the employees that are hired that know absolutely nothing about food but everything about plan-o-grams. Good job stocking upscale appliances for all of us 99 percenters to afford.

I have had great experiences over the years on their website and in the store. The company is highly ethical and helpful. With coupons, discounts, and sales often used in combination, the prices can be as good as anywhere. If I have a problem with an item, customer service has consistently been there to resolve issues.

The first week of November, I bought a rater expensive domed cake plate/punch bowl from Williams Sonoma as a gift for my sister in law. The dome could be placed in the plate to allow it to be used as a punch bowl. It does not work without the plate. My order came with the dome, but not the plate. I called customer service about the missing half of my order. They sent another dome. I called them AGAIN. They gave me instructions about how to send the dome back and assured me they would send out the plate. I carefully boxed up the second dome, mailed it back, but they never contacted me with a tracking number for the plate. I inquired about my tracking number, and was told, "Regrettably, I found that this item is no longer available through our Catalog/Internet division." with no offer of refund. I had to call AGAIN to point out that failure to deliver a purchased product, does in fact, require that you refund the money paid for the product. Now, after a month and a half of trying to get this problem solved, it's the week before Christmas. I have no present for my sister in law and I don't yet have the money returned to me because of course, that takes a week or two as well. And frankly, after all these repeated failures, I wouldn't be surprised if they can't manage to refund my money as well. Additionally, it's too late to order something else and get it before Christmas without paying for a rush delivery, if that option even exists this close to the holiday.

I love to cook, and love shopping at W&S. Although I don't have a store in my area, I shop online. They offer free shipping on orders over $49, and often have sales on the items I need for pantry, or cooking supplies. The quality of their products is excellent, as is their customer service both in store, and online. It's one of my favorite places to shop

This review is for the PRESIDIO SOFA purchased from Wiliams-Sonoma Home. Ordered the sofa with standard cushions - big mistake! Called WSHome to purchase down blend cushion inserts. WSHome was VERY helpful. The vender (MGBW) will not sell replacement cushions. This sofa is VERY uncomfortable. Too expensive to replace right now. I would recommend this sofa ONLY if you plan to put it in a room you will never use. It is NOT suitable for sitting. I'll say it again, NOT COMFORTABLE!

Several days before Christmas I ordered Croissants and Jams to be shipped to my sister-- a surprise Christmas breakfast, in fact. The website indicated they would be received by Dec. 24th. My sister called me on the 28th to tell me they received my gift. I'm not grousing about that. Stuff happens. What I didn't know was that she received an incomplete shipment. One jar of jam arrived at her house the first week in January and a second on January 28th. What the f@*k! No apologies. No explanations. The only reason I discovered this is that she called to see if I had signed her for some kind of "jam of the month" club or whatever.

I was a good idea: croissants and jams arriving together, as a package, suggesting a warm family breakfast. Now I feel like a fool.

I once saw a Seinfeld standup routine where he talks about how he walks into a Williams Sonoma store and comes out with a pepper mill. And he doesn't even really know what a pepper mill is. I feel the same way. Williams Sonoma has a lot of food, home and kitchen related products and I have no idea what most of it is for. But what I do know is that most of their stuff is nice and if I need a present, I can always find something here.

Williams-sonoma has great quality cookware. I love their products. I am a bit addicted to this site. It is very easy to navigate to find special items for your kitchen that you didn't even know you needed.

A few months ago I ordered for my parents a Nespresso Citiz machine from Williams Sonoma. It was all easy, and when I had a question about the machine, the customer service folks were great in responding. I do enjoy perusing the website for slick-looking kitchen gadgets that I'll never be able to afford.
