Super new to retro gaming. Wanted a cheap compact handheld device I could bring around with me and have a dose of nostalgia and not be worried about damaging or losing anything expensive.
This looked like it would fit the bill and it's actually a very nice unit! I wasn't expecting such a nice feeling device and the build quality looks good! It even comes bundled with a thick screen protector which is a nice touch.
Only time will tell how reliable the item is but it certainly looks and feels the part.
I ordered the LoFree Flow from WhatGeek. I must say that my package came to my door very well packaged and within 7 days from ordering. I emailed their customer service several times because DHL was slow in issuing a tracking number and a representative always responded within hours. I am very satisfied with the overall experience and would definitely order from WhatGeek again!

Wrist rest is nice walnut. Factory sanding was not so good though. I had to spend some time working on it to sand out wavy machine marks in the wood to get it perfectly smooth.
I pre ordered a product around the beginning of September that was a scheduled delivery date of sept 20 - oct 20. Made payment in full. Was on the site looking at other things around the beginning or October and noticed that the item I pre-ordered was now for sale and in stock. I was excited that maybe I would be getting my purchase soon. It is now past the scheduled delivery date, I checked my order and it has not even shipped yet. I will not buy anything from this site again. Very disappointed. Great at taking money and that's about it.

Placed an order for a keyboard on September 27th. I messaged support on October 8th as I was confused why I had yet to receive a shipping confirmation or tracking number. They they messages me back simply saying " Hi，your order was sent out and the tracking number is…". But the tracking number that was given does not have any associated shipment on the shipping company's website!
WhatGeek's shipping policy estimates 7-20 business days for shipping and I t has been 12 so far. I am questioning the validity of this site, and am prepared to charge back my card if the order does not arrive within the estimated time frame.
I'm extremely pleased with the ambernic console that I ordered, its exactly what it says it is and came within the time specified with tracked delivery. Definitely order again!
