I'm trying to finish my damn midterm right now, and it just doesn't let me EDIT ANYTHING. It's been laggy for all of my high school years (4 YEARS) and never gets any better. Limited on tools that other editing website has, Laggier then any website ever, and not worth the price range at all.

I've been using WeVideo for a while now, mostly because I enjoy testing the limits of my patience. It's amazing how something can technically function while emotionally breaking you down at the same time.

The editor itself is a marvel of modern inconvenience. Want to trim a clip? Great! — just wait for the timeline to load for 20 minutes. Adding text? Hope you didn't need to move it precisely, because precision is more of a "premium feature," apparently.

On the topic of premium (or the "waste-your-money" plan), the free plan is generous enough to let you export in 600 pixel glory, complete with a massive watermark that politely screams, "Yes, this was made on WeVideo!" It's like the software's way of making sure everyone knows you couldn't afford better options.

The export process is also quite a thrilling adventure. You never really know if your video will finish rendering, which adds a fun little element of surprise. It's kind of like gambling, but with your sanity and mental health.

Overall, WeVideo is perfect if you're looking for a way to practice mindfulness, test your blood pressure, or learn the true meaning of "almost works." Would I recommend it? Only to people who I hate.

THIS SOFTWARE SHOULDNT EVEN EXIST ITS RUINING THE LIVES OF MANY, YOU CANT ZOOM IN TO THE TIMELINE BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO USE THE TINY LITTLE ZOOM WHEEL AND YOU CANT EVEN CHANGE THE DURATION OF A TRANSITION BECAUSE IT IS SUCH A BAD SOFTWARE, WHY TORTURE PEOPLE WITH YOUR SOFTWARE WHEN THERE ARE SO MANY BETTER ALTERNATIVES, IM FORCED TO USE THIS FOR AN ASSIGNEMNT OTHERWISE I WOULD HAVE BLOCKED THE SITE BEFORE I EVEN GOT ONTO IT, PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SOFTWARE TO SAVE YOUR SELF FROM THE NEVER ENDING DOOM THIS THING PROVIDES.

I paid 100 dollars for a subscription, only to receive crap quality, and not even the full features. The software is so laggy that every time I try to play a clip, It says "processing" for 2 hours. Will never use again, wasted my money.

So $#*!ing laggy I hate wevideo always does random things I don't want it to do, impossible to import and find clips so unorganized and such a bad site I $#*!ing hate it > :(

I recived from PayPal bill for $95 automatic, and I used only one time and pay $95 and no authorized auto payment

The minute I signed up for a 7-day trial I was charged $59.88. The same day. I can find no way on the website to cancel or even contact customer service. I cancelled my credit card instead because I don't trust this site and fear they will continue to charge my card without permission. I am disputing the charges of course. I signed up for the 7-day trial on Sept. 19 and was charge $59.88 on Sept. 20. I not for the website's dishonesty I may have continued with their service.

I Tried making a project using this software soon after it got stuck on loading and lost all of my progress stay away from this horrible app and look for better alternatives

Be careful! I bought a video editing package for granddaughter's school project in 2020, during Lockdown. I've just discovered that they have been taking money from my account every May for three years! Bank can reclaim this month's but not the previous two years. Watch out for this!

IT IS SLOW, IT SAYS PREPARING YOUR PREVIEW WHEN U HAVE TO WAIT FOR 15 MINutes, it doesn't have good detail.

OMG! I've never seen any other pathetic video editing software other than WeVideo...Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! So slow...a newly pregnant woman would come to full-term by the time, the videos get processing after importing them. Aboslutely useless video editing app.

This site claims to be free, but you can barely make $#*! without paying. And unlike Pixlr, they dont give a free lifetime plan on education accounts, THEY ARE THAT GREEDY THAT THEY WOULD TAKE MONEY OUT THE POCKETS OF SCHOOLS! And you have limited publishing time per week, and its 5 MINUTES! YOU CANT MAKE YOUTUBE VIDEOS WITH THAT! And even if you pay, THE VIDEOS PHOTOS MUSIC AND TEMPLATES SUCK. This is disgraceful AT BEST. Dont use, please.

I don't recommend it. It kicked us out and it is really laggy and slow. Slow to enter. It is easy to use though. The search thing doesn't work either

We have been paying our monthly fee regularly. The card on file needed to be switched. I went to switch it and they shut my account down and are now trying to force us to pay annually which is stupid expensive. This is unfair. We cannot get our content off their site unless we pay almost $500. This is a scam site.

I worked on a video for HOURS on the free plan, then suddenly was told I couldn't upload it because it was too long. Also, you aren't allowed to get just one month of the paid version--you have to buy a full year, meaning it's 12 times as expensive as they tell you it is.
