Weebly is ok platformer very limited but eazy to use
You will have problem with the payment system as its only support 3 credit cards and no other options
The biggest problem is with Weebly support center.
They will never replay to any problem you have its telling you its the corona but its was like this forever
They will never replay to any of your email and will leave you with your problem
They will not repay when you close the account and will not replay for your demands to return back your money
Acutely I'm not even sure they have support center
Be carful when you spend time and money on this platform
Its ease of use has made me give it 2. The blogs are the worst. The characters are starting from the side and not at all satisfied with the information of views. There were about 100 views but it is consistently showing 1 view.
Worst support I have ever encountered. I have been waiting for months now to get some help from them. In the meantime I have NO access to my website. I cannot log in so I cannot follow any help links... Maddening. I just emailed them again begging for someone to help me and got a letter back saying that since it had been over 10 days I had to restart the case! The ball was in THEIR court for the next response, not MINE!
They simply don't care about customer service. They have one person working the phones and it is impossible to get phone support at any time of the day. They have a "live chat" option, but it never works. They really need to hire more tech support.
I signed up for a personal website about 20 days ago and the site worked for exactly one week and then went down. I tried to use their support online, but it supplied zero help and was very poorly written with either non-working buttons and very nondescript messages which all tended to run me in circles for hours. I tried accessing my website from a MAC, PC, and iPhone to no avail. After locating a phone support phone number, I tried a dozen time to call support but after waiting for a reply for a 1/2 hour, I gave up.! Requested a total refund from Pay Pal and waiting to see any results!
It has been two days trying to get into my account,
Just chasing a donkeys tail.
Phone support literally sucks, because you need a password to speak with a rep,
Cant get into my account in order to get a email to reset password,
So frustrated.
Weebky is extremely hard to contact when you have a serious issue regarding them taking out your money.
I contacted them sevral times to stop taking out money on a bad date. They never responded. Leaving me over drawn at the bank at a bad time. I sent them a record FOUR EMAILS!
My bank instructed me to get a new card so they would stop taking the money out and guess what this month they are still trying to take money out lol now they are sending threating emails about how my account is "suspended" yet they NEVER RESPONDED TO THE EMAILS I SENT! They want to send you dozens of email begging for your money but they dont want to respond. I hope other people experince much worse so more accountability will be taken on weeblys part. They are lazy and unprofessional
Weebly has become an absolute joke. Forum after form, post after post, year after year, hundreds of weebly users are asking over and over again for the same basic features for their website and time after time Weebly just ignore them.
People have been asking for video backgrounds on mobile since 2016 and its now 2020 and weebly still haven't done it, and worse still there aren't even any simple work arounds.
Auto video play is another feature, as are customisable shopping buttons. There are many other features. The designer is also very glitchy with window just randomly popping up all over the place. The help forums are rubbish and the support is non existent. After 5 years we are leaving Weebly.
Waited three weeks for customer service, Never got the site up and running, out $180, they could have cared less. The only returned emails were that they had a high call volume, this was the message I would receive through out the day
I wonder why people gave this website the worst feedback. It is what I needed for my website/shop. Almost everything that you really need is for free. Better that wix at least.
I am beyond frustrated with my Weebly service this year. It used to be much better. I don't know if they need to upgrade their servers or what, but every time I try to make a simple change to our company website, it just sits and spins. That's about what I am ready to tell Weebly to do.
Avoid this website builder. Terrible customer service and they kept making charges to my Paypal account. After 9 years of using them, I'm changing.
After many attempts to get my domain successfully transferred (every time having to wait up to 2 hrs for assistance both chat and international call) I finally got my site up and running. Now waiting 1.5 hrs for service to have my email sorted out with G-suite. This level of service is totally unacceptable for a company this big. The software is easy to use though but the service is shocking!
Thought I'd go with one of the lessor known services and regretting it only 3 weeks in. ZERO support, only automated responses claiming how busy they are.
The editor is clunky at best. And while the templates look good at first, getting them to conform to your choices is very unintuitive.
Skip Weebly, try another one.
Weebly just makes you go around in circles horrible customer service they sent an email saying they will get back to you in 48 hours that's unacceptable they Outsource their customer service out of the United States which is probably the biggest reason why they have such horrible customer service my problem still isn't resolved after working on it for over a month
What you build and preview is never what shows life when published. The worst is the mobile version which the main reason I switched to Weebly. The menu is alway so tiny that you can't see it even when using their new themes. The life version is not even close to the preview.
I'm seriously considering changing to another website, so anyone with a great review of one would be appreciated. Also don't want to get charged out of having a website.
Weebly, A Whole Lot of Crap
I've been on Weebly since October of 2014. Today I found out that all the return and unique visitors I've had to my website were pretty much all bots. Really?
I've been paying Weebly a nice little monthly fee for the past several years and now they are telling me that all the people who visited my site were bots. Funny, a lot of these bots came back to my facebook page and told me how much they like, loved, or hated what I wrote there but evidently, they have been lying to me.
So now I have an escaladed complaint that someone is supposed to get back to me on, but I'll believe that when I see it. Oh, the new numbers are coming from Google Analytics. They take a bunch of made up numbers and decide on how many people are actually looking at your site. Again, really?
One of the reasons why my numbers have dropped evidently is because unless someone goes searching for my website online then it is considered a bot. This means if I post the site somewhere else and someone goes to my sight from there then it is considered a bot. That's the way Anthony explained it to me. At least that is how I took it.
Right now, I'm running an experiment. I'm asking all my friends to click on something I posted a little earlier today and once they do, getting them to come back to where I posted it and hit like. I want to see what happens.
My fb page is public so if anyone wants to help this little experiment out please do. Thanks. Thank you.
Whatever you do, DO NOT get the "New Editor". The "Classic Editor" is far superior to the "New Editor". Functions on the "New Editor" are extremely limited. For example, if you want to have a photo gallery, there is no way to add a caption to a photo. So you upload a photo and there's no info for the person to read on that photo. There are other elements you can use to get around this, but these other elements don't have the lightbox feature. A lightbox feature is when you click on a photo and it opens up a box that shows an enlarged photo.
What is the point of showing people something without being able to describe it without using massive pieces of text that don't align with the photo itself?
The "New Editor" completely sucks.
Save your money they don't have a goiod track record with customer service. Overall everyone I know has had a terrible experience and extremely long waits when something goes wrong they have to repeatedly write to get help. I re
There is no reason to Weebly when there are dozens of other website tools out there that work 100x better for the same price. It doesn't matter if you are a new user trying to design a simple website or a experienced designer, you will hate your life for choosing this.
The design tool barely lets you customize your site and randomly deletes and resizes images. The drag and drop interface doesn't work and will move other elements on the page. If you need to edit the code good luck because the pages are bloated and confusing. Plus if you mess something up there is no history like any other reputable software and CTRL+Z doesn't work to undo your actions.
I have gotten so frustrated from trying to do simple tasks like move text boxes or edit headers that I wanted to punch my computer. Was locked out of my website once because it made me log in with a Facebook account that wasn't active even though I had the username and password for my site and it took forever to resolve the problem with customer service. Spend your money on better software.
Answer: Weebly has a lot of pages, this to me doesn't seem like one of them. You might get this error if you go there. 404 Error - Page Not Found They have a blog that can answer that or lead to that answer.
Answer: You need a paid plan, then you can get live customer service. You still can only get that during business hours. Keep your notes in front of you, they are tricky. Remember what you say in the live chat box because the chat box will not reveal what you were previously saying. They'll try to confuse you using that and try to change your story or something. Then they'll say is that all and end the conversation. Your problem not being solved you'll have to contact them again.
Answer: Confirm this with weebly, don't go there first. Looks like a hack attempt on your account to me.
Answer: I have tried the same and contacting Weekly is futile. They could care less about their clients.
Answer: Weebly does allow facebook marketing on their site. You should take a look at their complete Terms of Service, the most important restriction on advertising is: (q) include more than three ad units per page, or any advertising that greatly reduces the usability of the site. So, you would need to be careful about how many banners you include. That being said, many of Weebly's templates work really well with affiliate sites. The ability to insert HTML and Javascript files gives you a lot of flexibility. I've created a couple of demo sites that show how you can use affiliate data feeds on a Weebly site.
