I have nothing but good things to say about Wayfair. When I read some of the reviews I really don't get it. I have recieved defective rug, but there customer service was OUTSTANDING. They simply could not do enough for me. I remain a loyal customer.

It's been 3 months and I have still not received my sofa from Wayfair! They kept e-mailing me giving me a later date on when the sofa would arrived and then close to the arrival date i called to double check on it and they told me "oh actually it's on back order" and when i ordered the sofa 3 months ago they said they had 10 in stock! DO NOT USE WAYFAIR unless you are ok with waiting 3 months.
I bought a stool and they shipped me a table. Took over 3 months to get the huge table out of my home. They never sent the correct stool to me so i asked for a refund and it took another 2 months for my refund to show up.
I bought an end table and it was exactly as shown on their website. A great value and it works perfectly in the space I have.
Ordered four items from these folks in a pre-holiday sale. Item one showed up fine. Item two - two side chairs - was the wrong color. Wayfair at first insisted that the color displayed on their site was incorrect, but on checking with the manufacturer confirmed that there were in fact two choices and promised to send the correct one out immediately. I then started getting notices from UPS for a pickup, even though Wayfair hadn't issued return instructions yet. It took nearly two weeks and four phone calls to get that info. The replacement chairs showed up on Christmas Eve... and were the same incorrect color as the first order. These folks clearly cannot handle the breadth of material they are offering. To date there is still no word on return instructions.
I ordered a leather ottoman for my bedroom from Wayfair on Black Friday. A couple of days later Fed Ex delivered a box and I couldn't figured out what it was. It was from Wayfair but the size was too small to be the leather ottoman and I was thinking maybe there a second box but before I could blink Fed Ex was gone and when I opened the box it was a table. I called Wayfair and I was told I would get a full refund because the ottoman was out of stock. I asked what was I suppose to do with the table. Customer service called me back later and told me Fed Ex would pick it up the next day. No Pick up. So I have to drag the box back into my garage. I was also told that they would send me the leather ottoman in mid January. When I went to check my file at Wayfair I noticed the price of the ottoman went up. Not to happy about this situation. It is the first time I have ordered from wayfair.
Most unreliable company. Ordered "in stock" product. Delivery date changed 8 times! The product has been "lost". Next rep says it's been shipped. Next rep says no it hasn't and on back order. Then it's lost again by second tier freight company. Interestingly, well, not after reading the reviews here, price now has doubled since I ordered it. They have been trying to get me to cancel order and take refund. I wrote a fact based review and it was never put up. Will never order from Wayfair.com again.
Terrible experience with outdoor upholstered furniture. Foam material disintegrated after two months and they would not return, replace or repair goods. Lousy lousy customer service. I am in the design business. This company will not last selling inferior product. I have photos too! Very bad!
Recently received replacement cushions. Spring is nearing and we shall see how they hold up... Will keep you posted. It was not until I posted messages like this one did I get any kind of response.
Ordered a Christmas tree, started to put it together and it as the worst piece of crap I have ever had in a fake Christmas tree. I will never, ever, ever, purchase ANYTHING from them again.
We have ordered 10 different items from Wayfair and have been extremely happy with every item. Dining room chairs, rugs, kitchenware, lamps, shelving are just some of what we bought. All items were delivered in the time frame we expected and were in perfect condition. We did have one question for customer service and they answered promptly and with knowledge. We have used a decorator for some advise on redoing a whole living room and she uses Wayfair a lot. We have many friends using Wayfair and I have never heard a complaint. Every company will have isolated problems-even Amazon makes mistakes...
This is the most unreliable company I have ever dealt with. I ordered a shoe cabinet which was expected to be delivered in 7 to 10 business days. It's been over a month that I am still waiting for it. Delivery has been scheduled on number of occasions over the last few weeks but still no sign of the cabinet. Company promises delivery every day without timescales. I can write up a huge paragraph about my complaint on this. I am pregnant and due any day now. We moved home and my stuff is everywhere in the flat waiting to sort out. Company is blaming the delivery company but I as a customer feel that I placed an order with the company and not the delivery company. This is the third week when delivery has been promised and I am stuck at home waiting for it to arrive before my baby does. Highly frustrating and can't even cancel the order now because no company will deliver the furniture before Xmas if I am lucky.
Ordered a day bed for grandchildren's room... good new is they are doing the right thing... bad news who ships a day bed with out springs for top part and rails to mount it on... Wayfair of course... they are sending what we need but will be another 2 weeks. No real reason from cust service except oops... Kids will camp out on the floor until Grandpa gets the right stuff... O well
Watch out for these crooks! I ordered three sets of these chairs. I received two our of the three, although was charged for all. I called the shipping company as I received tracking information. I was referred to "customer service" who then informed me that I would have to pay a higher price for the last set as they "oversold" them at the price I paid for. DECEPTIVE SALES PRACTICES! Be warned.
I knew the product had been treated roughly when I opened the box and there here was an explosion of Styrofoam. One piece of wood, with its screws, was ripped from the front panel. I was able to fix this. However, I was not able to fix the many scratches and dents. The worst problem is ugly patches on the front panel where the stain failed to take hold. No decent outfit would have shipped a piece of furniture with that big a problem in its most visible area.
This was my first order from Wayfair.com and I was nervous about spending so much (well over $3000) with a company I had never ordered from before. Unfortunately, I should have done my research beforehand. It's been almost a month, and I still haven't received my full order. I have received 2 pieces of a 3 piece sectional couch (each showed up on a different day) and the last piece keeps mysteriously being pushed back on delivery, even those it shows it shipped with the rest of the items. Additionally, another furniture item has yet to show. I wrote a lengthy email to their customer service explaining all the issues I've had with the order (there's been a few), hoping they could make it right. They just responded with tentative delivery dates which I could've gotten off their website (if you're lucky enough to get logged on without receiving an error message as their site rarely seems to function properly). And that was it. No sorry for the inconvenience, no here's a discount code to use on a future order. Nothing. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
This was probably the first and last time I didn't research a company before ordering an expensive vanity. Lies about shipping dates, lies from shady second tier delivery companies who probably delay delivery because they don't actually have the merchandise in their warehouse but are a cover for Wayfair's slow and dishonest time tables they give customers. Sorry Wayfair, but word of mouth about your hideous customer service will bury you and Forbes will write be writing an update on your demise! You cheat, you lie, you assume stupidity, you lose.
I have purchased several items from wayfair. Every time has been a very positive experience.
It took 3-4 weeks longer than they said it would to get our dining room table. We ordered assembly, but that did not show up on the delivery invoice and they left me with boxes and a kitchen table to assemble. Do not order from this company.
