All their suppliers have ridiculous warranties that basically don't cover anything and then Wayfair simply washes their hands and says sorry cant help you. In my case Bedroom set delivered end of Jan 2023. April 2023 the mattress supports came off the sides of the bed, manufacturer first said they'd send replacement parts rather than replace the entire bed. Then manufacturer decided not to cover it anymore because, " YOU WERE SLEEPING ON THE BED WHEN IT FELL APART" are you kidding me, and I'm only 195 pounds. Wayfair response, sorry we cant do anything thanks for shopping with us.
Purchased a very expensive 2 piece chair set ($355.00) for elderly couple at a religious community who was on a fixed income. They wanted this particular set of chairs so I purchased the chairs for them for Christmas. The chairs are falling apart just over a year later and Wayfair - after months of waiting on their customer service - finally called and said they won't replace the chairs - they say they are not defective but the chairs have had "Excessive Use". The surfaces show very light wear only and look completely new - but the hardware is garbage and falling apart! What a joke! This was a complete rip-off! Purchase from them at your own risk - Be Advised. You absolutely don't want to purchase from Wayfair! They stole my money and refused to warranty the garbage products they provided. Keep in mind that these chairs had five star reviews. This has to be a complete scam!
I ordered an armoire on 4/19, and when I reached out on 4/26, I was told that the item is scheduled for delivery on 5/4. On 5/4 morning reached out again, as I didnt receive any call or email on delivery. First when I spoke to an agent I was told the item will be delivered next week. I requested to speak to a manager as to why I was being told incorrect information last week. When I spoke to the manager I was informed that the item is in back order and cannot be delivered before July. Full of lies!
Wayfair has horrible customer service. We recently bought a patio set. 6 days from delivery it went on sale, almost $250 less. They would not adjust our price. Only provided a $90.00 courtesy credit towards future purchases. They are not customer friendly and run under an unethical business model. They said we could return the patio set but it was already assembled and I'd have to pay a ton to ship it back. I will never purchase another item from them.
A bed was sent with 2 legs missing. The legs were not available to be sent. We asked for a refund and we're told to package and ship the bed back at our expense. Since we couldn't lift the bed for packaging or get the bed to a shipper ( we are old) we were refused a refund.
I bought a towel rack that was so flimsy upon arrival that it would not hold towels. The return shipping charge was $20 for something that weighed 3 pounds. It was that or keep the non-usable item for a 20% refund. Back to Amazon.

To call it a "nightmare" is a gross understatement. They sent me the wrong size mattress and I've now spent over 3 hours of work and my lifetime trying to get it picked up. I've spoken with supervisors and with managers. Suffice it to say that nobody has any clue of what is going on and there is no coordination at all. It's like being gaslit every time you speak with a different person. You get transferred endlessly and then start all over again. I only ordered from Wayfair by default. Had I read their reviews, I never would have done so.

I ordered a shelving unit for my pantry last august. What they sent me was a small table for a tight corner by a sofa. I finally got the correct item but they refused to take the small unit back and told me to donate it to a charity. Then they started billing me for it. 9 months later, three letters to Citibank and numerous phone calls which have lasted for hours they have billed me late fees etc. finally to get them to stop harassing me I paid $188.00 for a shelf I never ordered that they refuse to take back. The initial cost of the unit was only about $60.00. They've ruined my flawless credit record and refuse to reinstate it. I still have the item that I would gladly return but they won't take it
Be careful using wayfair with a third party checkout that they've partnered up with because their website tends to glitch, you will get charged and neither party will refund you. I'm currently dealing with this mess over an $800 order, they have stolen my money claimed there is no existing order and have told me to contact the vendor (afterpay) that took the money, that vendor told me to contact wayfair, now im currently out 800 and both parties have been giving me the run around and neither is trying to issue me a refund
I placed an order originally for 4K and Wayfair did charges on my account for almost 11k when called kept on getting transferred- and no help- last you are referred to comunícate thru email only - so you Magín my frustration-I had to go thru my bank to dispute all their fraudulent transactions. They are a spam people every thing looks fine at the beginning but when you pay that's when everything starts.
I have been ordering furniture and household items from Wayfair for years without any problems until I ordered a large cat tree and it arrived broken in one spot. The delivery person pointed it out to me and said he would make a quick call. He returned and said Wayfair will ship a new one to me. The new one arrived with the same issue. The furniture itself was very solid and well made but I noticed both pieces were wrapped so tight (looks like wrapping from the factory) that the cat post broke in the same place on both pieces. After contacting Wayfair I decided to keep the cat tree but they gave me a good discount on the original piece without me even asking. I rarely write reviews but I'm actually really pleased with my purchase because everyone I dealt with from the delivery people to the customer service seemed to really care about making me happy and getting things right. I was surprised to see all the negative reviews on here but maybe Wayfair listened to the reviewers in the past because at the moment I find their service top notch and will continue to order from them.

Work as a service pro never got paid for 2 jobs.They said that my banking information was not correct in their system. I tried and tried so I finally gave up I was so desperately needed the money for my bills.

I bought a furniture from Wayfair and bought protection plan with square trade. My furniture broke and I filed a claim. It was approved and I was told I will receive gift card from them. My nightmare started right after. They send me email with gift card which I could not open. Anyways, I emailed them numerous times for over a month and called them multiple times to resolve this issue. Nothing happened. I also had Wayfair representative on the line when I spoke to Squaretrade. They kept saying that gift card was issued and cashed. We asked them to provide the email address it was sent to and proof that it was cashed. At first they said they will provide the information and then sent me an email rejetcing my claim. I would not have paid extra money to buy this protection plan if I knew I would be scammed. Stay away from this company.
Don't buy any thing on wayfair, i bought a chair thourgh their website, that said " guine leather " but when i received it's not what it said, just a bonded vinyl, plus i was damaged with a small holes on the seat. It is the worst uncomfortable chair,... they refused to refund., don't buy any thing from them...
They don't let you cancel. If you return you pay more then 190 to return. Never again will I buy through this website
I ordered an adjustable height desk. Paid $200+ for it and received 1 barstool in the box. I called Wayfair and they will not replace the item even though it is available on their website, was told that was from a different supplier. I did purchase an open box item so was told they were making an exception so I could return the stool. So I guess without that I would be paying $200 for a cheap stool. I expected a scratch or dent but not a totally different item.
Now I have to wait for FedEx to come get the box and Wayfair to receive it back before they refund me...I wouldn't be surprised if I don't get my money back.
