I am not one to write a review, but Waste Management really dropped the ball. We ordered service on 7/6/21 and were told we would receive our bins that week. After 2 weeks of not receiving our bins we called and canceled our service and went with another company. ( this company had us our bins in 2 days and picked up trash for us on the day they dropped off our bins) so now back to Waste Management. On 8/3/21 we received a bin from waste management. Mind you this is 2 weeks after we already canceled. I called and asked for my bin to be picked up as we are not customers anymore. They told me it would be removed on 8/10/21. I just got off the phone and they didn't have a removal request, even though I got confirmation when I called last week that they would pick up and remove my bin today. So now they are coming on Friday the 13th to remove my bin. I have never seen a company so behind. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. They say they are the leading company in waste management, but they are by far the biggest waste of time.

Awful. Our recycling bin has been left nearly full three of the last five weeks. But "customer support" provides a farcical video showing that some "material left the bin" - a small amount of paper I could fit in my pocket. That video does NOT show that the bin was EMPTIED. And we don't pay for some material to leave the bin. We pay for the bin to be EMPTIED. The driver is either slack or sloppy or in too much of a hurry, but this is a consistent issue that we are NOT getting the service we're paying for - and the customer support wants to blame ME, as if I'm not looking at bin STILL FULL OF CANS AND CARDBOARD.

Horrendous service

Ever since Waste Management took over Advanced Disposal here in Cumming, GA, they have consistently missed pickups, either recycling or refuse, or both. Every week we get an email the evening of our pick-up date saying service is delayed. No kidding! The trash sits out there for 2 days. They even delayed recycling pickup an entire week. On several occasions I have called WM to order a replacement bin or to report a problem (one week was the only recycling not picked up in our entire subdivision). If you call, you have to be prepared to sit on hold upwards of 30 minutes; the longest I was on hold was 48 minutes. At least our previous service had an option for call back if the wait was going to be long. Not this group. I would suggest that people look elsewhere for trash service.

Absolutely the worst. They promise you everything deliver on nothing. Stay away runaway hide...
If I could give them a half star I would afford or start would be perfect. Lots of promises, no deliveries. Trash is piled up outside my dumpster for 3 weeks now they tell me to be picked up every day not happening. Don't believe it... Stay away

How the hell you supply the white ppl good service but no black $#*!ed up cans need to do better with service or gtfo can't stand aye one to be above company and not given good service trash stay on the ground carts all broke to hell and back $#*! jus don't make since and I am a old employee with this company it jus shameful

Headache

Almost two years of service n I think we've only had two months of consistent pick up without issues. They keep marking my house as Complete without ever stopping so many Fridays I'm on hold for 30-60 mins to get them to come back, usually on Monday. That's enough time to cause flies. Or I have additional cans next to the green bin n they'd only pick up the green one. It's truly been more headache than it's worth. I'm gearing up to switch very soon.

Stay away from this company! Terrible service. Called to instructions for yard waste and card board boxes - followed instructions exactly - did not pick up. Called back - said someone would l come get it next day - never came. Called again - told they would get it next pick up day - took half of it - then left note hand written saying the truck was automatic and it has to be in the can! Have used several times due to moves - never again - always an issue about picking up on time or anything not in can.

Terrible service, semi-impossible to discontinue. If you love missed pick-ups, being overcharged and put on hold by "customer service", this is the trash service for you.

On the Waste Management website under "How it Works" for the Bagster, it lists Roofing as one use of the Bagster (see attached screenshot). BUT once the bag is full and you go online to schedule a pickup, you are required to enter your zip code upon which you may learn that roofing material is limited in your area. The problem is that at this point you've already bought and filled the bag. There is no mention on the website or on the Bagster packaging that there are limits on roofing material, only on landscaping material. Now you're stuck with a purchased Bagster bag, full of garbage that Waste Management will not pick up. This was my experiences.

So tired of this

I have been trying to get them to pick my trash up for 3 weeks now still to no avail. Customer service tells you one thing but it never ever happens. There is no competition for them in our area so they can pretty much do whatever they want wen they want - they don't deserve a rating of 1 star because they have yet to take my trash - only my money

Failed pickup

My trash pick up was July 21 that didn't happen. When I check on the phone it was completed 134pm that is a lied. I called them July 22 twice 700am and after 300pm truck was scheduled no pickup at all again July 23 again. Bottom line get someone else to as your trash company don't uses them.

Ive been with waste management in the passed and always had a problem with my trash not getting picked up have gone (a month and a half of being skipped) all my neighbors get theirs but mine. I live on a corner where i understand they have to reverse in to pickup but i switched to REPUBLIC SERVICES and everytime they've come through with pick up. Had to change back to waste management decided to give them another try and again my first pickup was skipped. I AM FREAKING ANNOYED WITH THIS COMPANY!

Avoid this trash company like you're avoiding the coronavirus. Worst trash company in Johnson county do not recommend it for anyone no lie do you on the phone and their drivers will flip you up and tell you FU. They will also leave trash up and down your street when they come to pick up your recycling like I said avoid Waste management like you're running from the coronavirus or delta Virus they suck! Then you get a representative on the phone and they just tell you more lies on top of more lies on top of more lies even when you have a confirmation because they didn't pick up your trash from the week before they'll pick it up the next week that ain't nothing but a bunch of lies so much trash is backed up like I said avoid this place like the plague

They truly suck! It took me forever to even get someone on the phone to receive services. Then, they delivered my trash cans and didn't take my recycling for a month. I called, and again had a hard time getting someone on the phone. The women told me she would have someone out to get my recycling and they never came. I canceled my service and they had the audacity to charge me 70.00 to pick up my trash cans. They also tacked on an extra 12.00 filing fee. What they are filing I'm not quite sure! Do NOT go with this company. They are terrible! If I could give them negative stars I would

Going down

This company has been horrible for the past 3 years. Always late. Cranky drivers that are unhappy with the company. The last straw is them being a week + late every week for the past two months. They blame it on covid. Covid is tapering down and their business is gradually getting worse. Horrible un reliable company that is in way over ther heads. Don't use them ever!

This is the worst possible company you could ever get to pick up your trash. We asked them to pick up a bulk item, paid the extra fee, and for three weeks they were unable to pick it up. We called each week and each time they gave us the same excuse (a driver was not available at the time). They are not even able to honor their written agreements stating the date of when the pickup was scheduled for. It got to the point where HOA started complaining. DO NOT GET THIS COMPANY. I cannot stress enough how horrible they are. I would give zero stars if I could. DO NOT GET. Don't use them for trash. Don't use them for anything.

I would give a 0 star if I could. They have missed my trash pick up almost every single week for months now. I call multiple time a week and nothing ever gets resolved even after I talk to a manger. Absolutely ridiculous service and customer service!

How long does it take to pick up something that you make an appointment for it what 3 weeks maybe and you still going to have your stuff outside for them to pick it up we been calling this company and they always saying something else they say something else yesterday and now to me I called and they say because of the 4th of July they had a lot of callings and appointments I don't know if they work on Sundays picking up trash but I mean trash day is different from picking up big items, this people are a joke I guess they don't want to do their job and they turn around and say we care for the environment and things. How come they won't come and pick up our big items ah is going to be 7:00pm and not yet no one have come to pick up the stuff. Second she say may be tomorrow lol tomorrow is Saturday I don't think they want to pick up things tomorrow duh please do is a favor and do it job we are paying costumers thank u

Trash just won't get picked up and they reschedule for the next week with no explanation. You have to call customer service to get any answers and have to wait atleast 20 minutes to talk to anyone. On the phone almost 2 hours to get trash picked up and then to cancel service! Terrible wait times! And the "live chat" option is not a live chat and you will get nothing accomplished.
