Horrible company

I have no words for this company. I put out two garbage cans on Monday 1/2 full with apples. They did not take them, yet two weeks ago I had two cans FULL - they took those. I called Monday, they said they would be back to come get them, no one came, called tuesday morning was told they didnt see the note, they will come to day, they did not come, called tuesday evening, they said their shift is not over yet, they are en route, they never showed, called wednesday morning now they said the driver said they came tuesday at 3:30 pm and the cans are too heavy and left a tag on the can - they never came tuesday, I was working in my garage at that time, nor was their a tag on my can - lies! They had someone call me who said they came yesterday (tuesday) and the cans were full of apples and dirt and were too heavy, I explained to him, there is no dirt and no one came, the cans are in the same exact position and spot I put them in. All these people do is lie and pass the buck, the workers are lazy. I took the cans myself and dumped them into a bagster MYSELF a 5'3 girl. This is so beyond rediculous, everyone I talked to should be fired as every single one of them lied to me on the phone which I am sure is not their first time and won't be their last.

Horrible liars!

All our containers were replaced but the recycle container is a different much bigger size that won't fit in my storage area.
I've called 4 times and sent 6 emails. They promised a switch 4 times "tomorrow" which has never happened.
Now they say they have no more containers and they will change containers by 12-31-21!
What morons.

Worst customer service ever. They bug you for the ten bucks you owe them but they leave their trash bins all over the city and never pick them up. I am about to through mine in the land fill soon!

Terrible!

Every week we have to call a few times because they miss the Friday pick up. Takes hours to reach someone just to tell you they request for next day pick up and that next day pick up never happens! Do not choose this company! To cancel service they charge $75 for container pick up!

When calling the office for missed service, replacement barrels, large item pick up, and oil pick up, they are at the mercy of field operations. They promise tasks to be completed but 90% of the time it is NOT completed. The office promises results but you know the task(s) will not be completed in a timely matter.

They sure don't have a problem charging me for the service they don't provide! This is like the 6th time in less than 6 months that just just forget to pick up my garbage from the street! Can't ever get ahold of anyone from the company to call. It's very pethetic they can't even do their job!

I wish I would have seen these reviews before using Waste Management. Absolutely horrible experience. Missed pick ups, No answer to inquiries or response to email complaints. No apology for terrible sub par service. Almost as if you should expect this type of service.

Horrible service I would rate 0 if I could. I live on a highway and many times the trashcans were left in the middle of the driveway that I have to park up the street at the post office to move them. One time my husband accidentally hit the can and destroyed the can, his truck, and our gutter. I was told since I didn't babysit my cans a kid with a ball, a big gust of wind, or a deer could have hit it an move it. The letter from the insurance company stated they are "not responsible for the trash cans or their location after trash has been removed." So basically they are never liable. They haven't picked up our recycling in a month and a half. I was told a dispatcher was going to call me last week and still nothing.

Poor service

The city of Port Orchard requires this companies service. Over the last 5 years they have failed to pick up my trash and recycling multiple times a year. When contacted about the issue they sometimes will come by and pick it up, and then charge for an extra pick up. Lately they have started not picking up the recycling for a month stop by mid week the week following the second missed pick up take a picture of the driveway and say unserviceable to avoid giving refunds... if their was a different option and we were not required to have their service I would say DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE. Unfortunately we are required to pay for their crappy service and just hope that eventually our trash piles will be picked up. Or just haul it to the dump our selves...

Rates went up to almost double the locally owned company and if you cancel they will charge you a fee to pick up their cans equal to an entire month's worth of service! I can understand a fee equal to what it costs them to come out, but if they can come out 4 times in a month to pick up my garbage for a month's fee, why do I have to pay a whole month's fee to come out once to pick up the cans? Financial penalty to leave is bad business.

They show up and empty 5 out of 50 trash cans it's freakin ridiculous! I am the propert manager i myself have called 4 times. My residents have to call to find out why their trash isn't being picked up. I have a trash can at my office that has been sitting there for three weeks waiting to be picked up. It's at the road over flowing because they haven't picked it up! This is insane! The pictures below are only 3 trash cans waiting to be picked up for weeks!

Waste Management acquired my trash company for billions of dollars. It has been four week and WM has not picked up our trash. The first couple weeks the neighborhood has been complaining about the non pick up of trash. Customer Service passes the phone to the local WM "dispatch Service" no one calls you back or talks to you. I sat on the phone for one hour and half waiting for a supervisor with no answer. I had to hang up since this is not my full time job. The company tells you someone will call you and the trash keeps building up on our street. I wish I could just warn people interested in this company to run away fast. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Worse company ever

If you are looking for maggots in your trash can, go with this company. They never pick up your trash and it ends up smelling. Called customer service multiple times but continies to not pick up trash week after week. Dont waste your time or money.

Liars!

After having service with this lying company since 2017 oh, I decided to cancel service with them because they quickly start again expensive. They went from $100 every 3 months to $156 every 3 months and they just had to go. When I canceled I was told that I had made an overpayment and then I will get a refund check of $128. A month later and have to call in various times they told me today September 4th 2021 that they don't give refunds back or return any money in my area. After being patient with them for so long and getting the runaround for about a month I told him that they sucked. I will let every veteran I know anyone that has their service to beware of this company

My trash is missed AT LEAST once a month! My bill goes up more every time I get it and the service goes down. It's the worst experience I've ever had with a trash company. AVOID AVOID AVOID! My trash AND recycle was missed yesterday and rescheduled for today. Well, both missed again today and now it's the weekend and has been rescheduled for a week (trash) and 2 weeks (recycle). I will be deducting this week from my bill.

Driver came to pick up, I asked him to confirm that it would be only an extra $10 to keep the container an extra day. He went back to his truck, made a call, came back and confirmed it would be $10 for them to pick up the next day. Three months later I get an email explaining I owe $6.66; however, following link to their website, I found an invoice for $273.19. Astounded by the charge, I assumed an error occurred on their side and called customer service. Inquiring about the charges, the agent explained that there was a charge of over a hundred dollars for "refusing the driver" and the rest appeared to be late fees associated with not paying this down. I asked what could be done about this as a representative of the company (the driver) had confirmed the price ($10) and I would have otherwise been glad for him to take it and throw the last couple things I had in with my regular trash. This representative was rude and tried to explain to me repeatedly why there was a charge, which I made clear I already understood at this point. The question was how we were to resolve the issue. When the representative said she was trying to explain 'why' to me again, but that I was cutting her off (I respectfully was, this was the third repeat), I asked for a manager. After some time a manager came on the line and said she would take care of this issue and remove the charges (after 40 minutes on the phone). I was so relieved! HOWEVER, we were then disconnected and I am now just hoping this supervisor calls me to finish resolving the issue.
*update* I called back and asked for a call back from a supervisor through automated system. I received a call back, was patched through to a personable supervisor that finished removing excess charges from my account. If the first representative had been less rude, it would have been four stars. UPDATE* IT IS SEPT 2ND AND I JUST GOT A BILL FOR THE SAME INITIAL $274 AND THE AGENT I CALLED ISN'T ABLE TO SEE THAT THE MATH DOESN'T ADD UP. MORE TIME AWAY FROM WORK TO FIX THIS. I AM DONE WITH THIS COMPANY AND IF THIS IS NOT RESOLVED I AM FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. I JUST HAD SUPERVISOR HANG UP ON ME AFTER I ASKED TO SPEAK WITH HER SUPERVISOR.

I am willing to pay for good service. But, this is not good service. They frequently skip pickups and say they will return the next day. But, it's the pandemic, so I am flexible. However, the customer service reps talk a good game, but followup is never there. The website is tangled like an arcane maze. They often ask you for your customer number when you call and it's tough to find. Getting to speak to a real rep is not easy and takes a long time on "hold" waiting. Turns out they know you just from your phone number in your profile. Still, it's one more speedbump inhibiting real service. I called for a special pickup of a heavy item and was charged $40 and so far they never picked it up and I've made 5 calls to get it taken care of. The heavy item is still sitting at the curb with my sign on it telling everyone who passes by that Waste Management is supposed to pick it up. Bad advertising for WM with my neighbors, for sure. I am trying to like them, but the bottom line is they are making it hard.
