Can't get anyone in chat they disconnect, can't get anyone who knows what they are doing on the phone either. Nobody can tell me where my money is. Disguising. They didn't allow credit card to take money that was there

I have over 75 fraud charges on my Walmart green card that was reported August of 2021 to Walmart Green Dot to this day they have not refunded my money they have actually Justified one of the payments what can I do.

They say a charge is "pending" even though the merchant even calls and says to release the funds... nope they just hold it for 3 weeks without even telling you. Bc of my credit situation I was desperate but people fall on hard times. Understandable but what makes me sick are the billionaires that profit off of hard working people just trying to scrap by. 600 dollars they are sitting on. Normally a authorizing charge u get back immediately. But 3 days tops. 3 weeks? Disturbing that this is even aloud to happen. If ya don't hear back from me I probably froze to death since that money was keeping a roof over my damn head. Meanwhile green dots revenue is 1.2 billion dollars. So $#*! Ing disgusted and angry

They advertised "no monthly fee", but there IS a fee! If you do Not Use the card throughout the month they charge $5+ fee! Otherwise you get charged for Everything instead of the $5+ fee! They say they offer "Overdraft protection", but that's a lie as well because they Said that I'm set up for it, but when I was. 65 Cents short, they denied the charge! It was not even a dollar, WTH?! I'm Really getting sick and tired of the Lies and BS with Walmart all together! They can Not do Anything right!

I bought this card because I misplaced my usual and I'm on the road so this seemed convenient. I loaded my money and proceeded to go online to buy a plane ticket. Card was blocked. Spent 4 days blocked. They finally unlocked it an Expedia won't accept it. I couldn't use my points. I had to accept a later flight at a higher cost through a different service. I cannot get cash back I cannot use an ATM. I get declined nearly everywhere I've tried to use it. The customer service is AWFUL and just like others have testified here they got their monthly service fee before locking it down. Even the voice on the prerecorded menu has a snotty disposition. I'LL NEVER USE GREENDOT OR WALMART AGAIN.

Dont ever use this card

If you give negative Stars I would definitely give it a negative hundred I've had this card for over two years the only reason dp first time I had issues I had lost my card called to get a new one didn't tell me there was no way for me to access the money with out it told me it was going to be ten days then told me I could have it expedited after fighting with them for days paid the 15 and got my card what ever then come to the middle of this month I was at work go on brak find my card had been charged for over 300 dollars fraudulently so I go through the motions to dispute it now this was a thursday the person that I spoke for one could barely understand him two he tells me all the transactions have been entered into the dispute have to wait ten business days witch is stupid but what ever so couldn't get a hold of anybody till I got my new card and when I did come to find out that not all the transactions were filled so had to again file another one and all they said was I'm sorry they said that now my one dispute has been denied because they say I authorized the transactions and showed on the letter a charge from October that wasn't even in anything but because it was the same type of transaction they said I authorized it now sitting on hold for over an hour dont ever get this card if you have it get something else immediately

On dec 23 my account was closed without any explanation! Has on the phone for over an hour with a lady telling me she was transferring me to the next in line but kept ending up with the same lady. I have my employer and my fiance's employer doing direct deposit thru them. I have all of my bills pulling from this card. Now i have to find another bank to get an account and set everything all bank up. We have 6 kids two with server disability and are so overwhelmed with keeping up with life. At least some sort of explanation would have be decent enuff. To get dropped without warning and without any explanation is so frustrating! We were over due for our cash back tracker of 75$ which is the only explanation i can think of.

Fraud charges

For the most part I've enjoyed the Walmart card but there is one main, and very serious issue I've found that Greendot bank (walmart cards bank) WONT care to help you with. Both on my TurboTax card as well as my walmart card (both go through the same bank, Greendot) have had fraudulent charges on them and their bank did not help at all. They determined all charges were valid when they weren't, BOTH times. I've had the walmart money card for YEARS and never had to submit for fraudulent charges and when I did, they denied me. Money I had to lose out on. On top of that, I got the new card with new numbers with our walmart card and yet our old card has been charged still. How exactly is that possible? It's not very often this happens but one specific place it works at is door dash. They charge our old card, shows the old card number but yet our account is charged still. That tells me the fraud system set up with Greendot is not safe at all. This is probably the most important thing to look at when it comes to getting a card through any bank. Be careful and don't expect Walmart to help you with fraudulent charges! We plan to go to a new bank. Even my credit card is more secure than greendot.

I purchased a Walmart money's card green dot. I uploaded money on the card so my teenager could Christmas shop online and in the store. My daughter made 3 Amazon purchases that was on the same day, 2 arrived on time and one didn't so, we call Amazon and they said you can cancel order from your account and we did. Before canceling the order there was $16 dollars left and couple days later we spent that at target which left now $4.63. The same day cancel order was made for Amazon, We call Walmart money card and fill a dispute over the phone about the order. The woman said, oh yes we see the amount for $32.36 the date and your refund will be back on the card 12/20/21. I check my card and nothing. Email customer service and they said they don't see any purchases. I call and customer service said they only see one order from Amazon and brushmark which is from a nother company. They didn't know I screen shot the order and I have phone recordings. I said that's not impossible because I will have more then just $4 dollars left. And plus, Transaction from my account went through because I received every other I purchases except one that was canceled. They didn't even mention the target purchase. They mention everything except order that was actually purchased and went through and the amount was incorrect. They said u made a purchase at Amazon for $2 really. Really... who u know buys anything for $2 dollars from offline u can't pay for in the store. $2 that definitely not correct at all.$2 went through with out taxes. Even gum with taxes going be more then that. I could really sue and really thinking about doing it but I prefer my money back. I will never, ever, buy another Walmart upload money on card again. Gift card yes but money No! Bad customer service

Do not use this card

Card is complete fraud. After putting money on the card wouldn't let me use as debit card at all. Called customer service and spoke to manager and said I was only able to use it to buy stuff in Walmart no cash back k or nothing. So buy debit card to not be able to use as debit card and won't give your money back. Customer service manager said I could only use it to buy stuff in store and hung up on me.

Successfully filed a dispute and it was granted back to my account. But they later terminated my account and said I won't receive my account because of the fraud that was reported. What the hell. I reported fraud & it was Successful and now I can't receive my money... STAY AWAY FROM GREEN DOT & just use a card from your bank or another option

The one thing you can guarantee is you will not get a rise of temperature from them because they give zero f&@!?. Move your direct deposits now. Make sure your funds are insured. They will close your account simply by inquiring about matters on the account. No sense of loyalty for long standing customers. Overall very polite representatives, little to no comprehension and plays word games and phone and email games each time you call. Expect to wait until who knows when. My dispute began 11/15/21 and is yet to be resolved. One day mailed. One day still pending. One day you have to do it all over again. Who knows... maybe one day my $633 shows up. I have never!

I would rate no stars if I could. My card has been compromised several times with no explanation. The first time; I did receive my money back after about one month, when they said it would take up to 10 business days plus 2, whatever that means. Now, I had a charge that I didn't make for $97 dollars to a place I've never heard of. I call them, they lock my account, the next day I receive a text saying there is fraudulent transactions on my account. I look, it's for $500! After my card was supposedly locked! There is an internal scam going on in this place, and they need to be sued! I will call them every day until I get my money back! They will be reported to the better business bureaus in every state. I will contact every lawyer I can to take this case. It's a total rip off! Customer service is even worse!

I have never had a problem with the Greendot Walmart Money Card for over two years,
Until now…
One month ago I made an online purchase at Walmart on the Walmart app with my Walmart money card.
I canceled the order the day that I placed the order because there was a delay so I just went into Walmart & bought the item there since it would be quicker that way.
Anyway, the transaction had went through, I canceled the order & Walmart has always been prompt on a refund within twenty four hours I received a refund.
Not this time.
They opened a dispute.
I have called thirteen times & I have received multiple answers such as I would get my money refunded within twenty four hours, I would get my refund within forty eight hours, that they would send me an email or a letter when my dispute was resolved, that my dispute was already resolved, that I needed to mail a written letter for the reason of my dispute within ten days of the placing of the dispute though they failed to tell me that I must send it within ten days from the date of the dispute. I've been disconnected & hung up on eight times!
I've spoken to two supervisors & I asked where they were located & she replied,"The Philippines"!
I asked her why there even was a dispute that was opened in the first place but she replied that she was only in the dispute department & that the investigation department was doing the investigation.
What is so $#*!ing difficult about giving someone their damned refund for an online order that they canceled through the same damned company?
This country has gone to $#*! because they keep doing business with other countries.
And not reputable countries like Germany, France or Belgium, but third world countries.
Very unsatisfactory.

Let people steal money out of my account and wont let me access the rest of my money. Says 3 weeks! Let them change all my account information and blames the pandemic for not having SECURE card
This is not a SECURE card and they will let people steal your money and do nothing.
I live off SSI and they froze my account and stole money and i have no way to live! No money and they refuse to help!

Total disappointment

I purchased a card and tried to register it. After entering my phone number, address, birthdate and social security number repeatedly, i was told my information can not be confirmed and i can use the card for in store transactions only and charged me $5.94 maintenance fee and had not left walmart parking lot yet. I called the customer service and was told to call the next day during business hours which i tried. After talking to employee and a supervisor i felt like i was dealing with robots. There was nothing they could do for me they said and i was unable to make them understand that i need a card to pay bills and do on line shopping for in store shopping i can use cash and don't have to buy a card and pay maintenance fee for something that i can not use. I am totally disappointed to say the least.

I purchased a card on 9/30 came home and activated it tried to pay a bill and was declined, called them and was told that I put the wrong last four digits of my social in and that's why I can't use it, they told me in order to get a refund I would need to send in my driver's license the card I purchased and a utility bill to verify my identity, well I just been informed that they was not going to issue me a refund so now they have all my information but no refund the sad thing about it is they will not even talk to me they say it's because they can't identity me so I suggest to anyone reading this please use Chime. Vero, PayPal, or Bluebird if you want to use a good card!

Hackers

I have had two separate accounts and both have been hacked and large amounts of money taken from me. Each dispute was handled totally different even tho they were exactly the same. They have ruined my credit because I can't pay bills and I continue to grow late payments daily. I have been misinformed and constantly lied to from supervisors and many departments all the way up to the corporate level. I have been with this company for over a decade and this is how they treat you! It's been 45 days and I still haven't got my funding back and my account was blocked and I can't get the funds that were left on the account. This is unreal

Very very bad

After purchasing the card the activation process is ridiculous. I've activated dozens of cards with a phone call. This card wants a lot of personal information including SS#. I've bought cars and houses with less paperwork. In addition there is a $6 / month charge unless you put $500 on the card each month. It's a racket.
