Horrible customer service

Something was wrong with online account tried to contact Walmart money card and green dot neither one would answer phone. So I called Walmart they couldn't help either so looked online since number on back of card would not work and got scammed thank God no money was got from either of my accounts but had to pay for new phone plus new plan and cancel all social media I lost everything. When I called corporate and finally got someone they just offered a new card and basically told me they were not responsible for my getting scammed only they were because there should be a number on the back of that card where you can get a living breathing person and none of this would have happened because of them not wanting to pay customer service reps to answer a phone I had to look online for a number and it just happened to be a false Walmart site I will never use this card again Walmart is getting $#*!ty with all their customer service I think from now on I will take my business elsewhere

FRAUD

This company is a complete FRAUD my account was hacked into and transactions were made that I did not do I called made a dispute then was told I needed to email a dispute as well I did so they credited my account then a month later decided to say my dispute wasnt granted because I made the transactions which I did not do and showed proof I didnt and they took every dime I had on my card this is the worse company to trust with your money If I could give them 0 stars I would

Thieves

Had a transaction go through on my account from another state. Called them to stop it instantly and they allowed it anyways. Spend 2 months trying to get my money back, including reports and signed letters they ask for. 2 months later they denied my dispute. So it takes Walmart 2 damn seconds to take my money and now they literally are thieves. If I steal from them I go to jail but they can literally steal with NO consequences. $#*! you walmart

I purchased the temp WalMart card and had to go back to reload, due to not adding enough funds for purchases, and when I tried, at first with walmart customer service (money services desk) I was told I could not add funds to the temp card. Frustrating yes, because I had to purchase additional card. So, the same happened again, and had to purchase yet ANOTHER card each time I wanted to add funds to my acct I wasn't able to. So I call cust service and they say oh yes, I was able to, but due to a conflict between the card service and WalMart, I was unable to. So, due to their own error/dispute, I got charged for each of the new card fees, in addition to getting charged 5$ per card a few days into having the cards. I assumed I'd have one month from the date of purchase before being charged the monthly fee, but nope. AND they refused to refund any of these bologna charges. Needless to say I will never use their services again, nor will I recommend to anyone considering.

On 7/29/21 I noticed fraudulent transactions on my account. I notified green dot by phone. I was told steps to complete to report the fraud and get back the stolen money. They said I'd have it back have the money back no later than 8/11. I followed all steps and waited to hear back I heard nothing I called and was told they received the documentation and it was being investigated. I waited called again. Same answer. I've called at least 15 times now. I've been put on hold for 30 min, calls disconnected, forwarded to numbers that never answered. It is 8/31/21 and now they're saying they didn't receive my documentation after I've been told four times on various dates that it had been received.
They are holding my money. $2900+ of my money is in my account that I now have no access to.
It's been reported to the BBB and FDIC.
They won't give me my money. This is illegal activity by green dot bank and needs to be investigated

Get the card to be able to transfer money to a loved one that is stuck out of town and I'm not near my bank to deposit money there. Customer service wanted to do nothing to help. And wanted to hang up on me

Warning do not buy green dot cards the company just scammed me out of 300 dollars. I bought a new green dot card and put my money on it then the next day I registered the card and called the company because I needed to put a PIN number on it and I called the company and they said the card was not in my name or social security number and they said they had to open up a fraud case then they said that they didn't owe me any money and so I had them open a second case and they did and emailed me they wanted to discuss the case with me and then I called them back and then they sent me to money pak to ask for a refund and I did and didn't have a number for that website so I called them back and told them again about the situation and they sent me to someone else and they played the I can't hear you and hung up on me. So fair warning money card green dot card is scamming people out of their money I also looked at the back of the card and the black strip is all scratched up and I haven't used it FYI

I made a transaction to WALMART.COM with my WALMART green dot card, immediately canceled the transaction because I meant to use my other card and that card was saved in my app and chose the green dot card. I canceled it and got the receipt, they said a prepaid card would refund up to an hour later, worst case a bank card up to 3 days. It has been 13 days and they still keep hanging up the phone on customer service, don't speak English well, sound like they are in the car on the freeway. Oh and keep changing the refund date. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES. A NIGHTMARE!

Dont use this service. After 15 years these guys stole 88 dollars by transfering money from account to vault when i didnt even have 20 dollars on there and they wont give it back. U cant be 67 dollars negative on a prepaid account with walmart. Im going to Chime after 15 years with these guys. U would be better off going also! Stay away from walmar money card if u wanna keep ur money!

I've been battling green dot for 4 month now and still $200 is missing. 3 separate transactions were done that I didn't authorize. Green dot took a bill I pd online for $200 from a co I do business with and paid me back with my own money. Now my co wants to know why I haven't paid. This co is the original one where the $200 was missing after I paid it. Everytime I call they're rude & will hang up on me. They put me on hold so many times and hang up. Not only consumers affairs needs investigate but the attorney general. I've ever experienced as anything like this.

SCAM SCAM SCAM! They don't know what their doing! Will keep your money hostage! Will keep asking for the same documents each time they are called for the status of the refund. India and Philippine call centers are awful! Reading scripts and apologizing are what they are best trained!

For walmartmoneycard DO NOT GET THEY WILL CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT AND SEND YOUR MONEY BACK TO SENDER EVEN AFTER YOU SEND THEM THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS TO THEM.IT DOESNT MAKE A DIFF CONCERNING YOU TO GET A PHONE CALL OR ANYTHING PRIOR TO RETURNING YOUR MONEY NOW YOUR IN LALA LAND WINDERING WHEN AND WHERE YOUR MONEY IS OR EVEN TO PAY YOUR BILLS. THEY ARE THE WORST CARD TO HAVE FOR HAVING YOUR MONEY ON AND THEY EVEN LET UNKNOWN PEOPLE TAKE YOUR MONEY WITHOUT PERMISSION AND YOU NEVER SEE THAT EVER AGAIN ALSO WOULDNT HAVE THIS CARD ANY MORE CAUSE THEY ARE UNJUST TO YOUR SERVICE.

Money Card

Why when using cash for a deposit, why wasn't it available? I'm buying a German shepherd and your card made me look like a damn fool. Says right there on the package, "Use right after your deposit." I can see banks and such, but cash?!?!
Come on, wasted my day trying to get answers. Someone has to know what to do! I would also appreciate talking to a live person. Oh, the one that sold it to me didn't know anything. No help even at the store.
So. Done one needs to fix this. I will not do this again until it's fixed.

Just bought the walmart money card i just registered it. And before I can even do one transaction they already emailed me that they block the card for fraudelent transaction? Bull$#*!! Scam thats what the deal with this card. How can even happened. Holds your money for a while if you get lucky but if not you cant get your money anymore. Ive read reviews and its the same story from others. My worked for my family and now card is holding it? How unhumane can that be

11 days later they tell me in order to get my provisional credit I need to send them a letter in the mail which is another 2 weeks horrible service I'm canceling the card and account if not they charge u 5 a month to keep it active

Fraud asked to dispute a charge, mgr say info is incorrect, sent all documents was told 24 to 48hrs would be corrected after 3 weeks mgr tells me it may be 30 days. The company who charge is pending sent info letting them know they don't have anything pending. Mgr still saying 30 days it will fall off. Don't trust them they take your money then have you thinking it's you they're a scam.

Walmart money network said there were inconsistencies in my case. Okay tell me how one phone call explaining the issue and you having me answer the same questions the same way is inconsistent? I had two fraudulent charges and filed a claim. I did everything on my end as 2 transactions were made at a CVS in a totally different city while I was on the clock at work and made purchase throughout my day. When I follow what the letter says to do in order to appeal I get told to email that I'd like to appeal they give me an email address. The first one was fake. The second one told me to include a photo of my letter and the email address was totally different. Funny it had our symbol word Spark. Is this supposed to be cute? I want my money back. I've contacted my lawyer.

Lost my card and reported it lost. They tell me it will take 2 weeks for a replacement. Well in the process of living during that 2 week period, I needed money. So I call customer service explaining my issue and there's no way I can get funds without the debit card regardless of proper identification. A day later I find the card and call back saying I found the lost card. Although it's deactivated may I go use the card along with proper identification to withdraw funds. Basically got a no. What logical banking service prevents you from withdrawing your own money.

Receive my direct deposit from employer in this card account. Since 2017, it's now 2021. Got a bonus check from same employer, photo deposited into my account on a Thursday evening. Got a message stating funds would be available on the 9th. Being it was already after business hours. I assumed once they opened the next business day and see account history and the pay or, plus the big payroll department in ledger, my funds would be available to me sooner. Not! Never again. I'm actually will open me a local account, and close this third world account out.
