The overall reputation of the company is significantly marred by numerous customer complaints regarding service reliability and transparency. Many users report frustrations with receiving incorrect tickets, unexpected charges, and inadequate customer support, often describing the service as untrustworthy and dismissive. While some customers have noted positive interactions with individual representatives, these instances are overshadowed by a pervasive sentiment of dissatisfaction and confusion throughout the purchasing process. The consistent issues with order confirmation and refund policies highlight a need for major improvements in customer service practices to enhance trust and user experience.

My event was cancelled due to Covid. I requested a full refund, all they have given me is the run around. You can't get anyone on the phone in Customer Service. Their automated system will have you running in circles. At the end of the day they will only provide me a credit for almost $700 which will expire in December. There will be no large concerts, games or gathering prior to that date. They are just keeping people's money. I have no idea how they are getting away with it.
This company only cares about money and themselves. I recently purchased tickets to an event that ended up being rescheduled. The band public started the refunds would be available but VS is not honoring this. There advice, try reselling. Who's buying concert tickets during COVID? Plus trying to talk someone takes forever. Bad customer service. They don't care about their customers!
My event was cancelled due to COVID-19, I asked for a refund of my $315.00, all they gave me was the runaround. This company is practicing a fraud on the consumer.
My event was cancelled due to Covid-19, so I sent an e-mail the day after it was cancelled trying to get my refund. This email was ignored, and then a month down the road, they sent an email saying I had 7 days to contact them for the refund. This message was sent to my junk folder and wasn't seen in time, so now they keep my money and give me less than a year to spend my "reward loyalty credit." I called customer service, and their response was "we sent an e-mail and you did not respond." Then when I pressed further, they said "I have handled this issue." They were very rude and have essentially stolen my $400.
I bought tickets on vivid seats,, received an order confirmation'. Two days later they cancelled my order. Rotten... never use again
Vivid only gives refunds if the event is cancelled... our event was "rescheduled" an entire one year from now. Would not consider issuing a refund even though the date was not going to work. Ticketmaster on the other hand was very compliant with issuing refunds. No more Vivid here...
The Kane Brown concert was in limbo then rescheduled some 7 months out. I agreed to the concert date of April 17, not October 31. Cant do the intended family outing as originally purchased for. For so many reasons they are wrong. Wont ever do business with them again. You cant even do a BBB complaint. Vividseats you suck!
If I could give zero stars I would. I have been emailing them for months trying to get a refund for my event that was cancelled and they are just running me in circles! 100% buyer guarantee? BS. I will NEVER be buying from vivid seats again. They have used what's all going on right now to completely screw their customers. We were told that our refund was processed on 3/25 and that we would receive it 2-4 weeks and when we didn't see it and I followed up they said I didn't respond to the email (which I did not receive) within the 7 days and am no longer eligible for the refund. That was on 4/21st that they said they sent that email. If they would have actual processed my refund like they said they did, I would have received my refund by the time they'd sent out that email! So they lied about actually processing my refund and then tried to make it seem like it was our fault. AWFUL AWFUL COMPANY! I'll take my buisness elsewhere.
I had bought 2 tickets to a concert which was cancelled. Here in the NJ area we were hot with Vovid 19 very hard. When o heard the concert was cancelled I expected my money to be automatically refunded but got nothing! I gave it some time but still nothing. In the meantime I had an email from them in my spam folder. I called immediately and they told me it was to late so no refund only credit. There r no upcoming concerts in this area for a long time. I called and the representative ManJoy was not only rude but condescending. It's hard times here in NJ many out of work for almost 3 months and as a single mom I could have used the $$
Other resale companies like Seat Geek r much better
Beware if u use Vivid Seats!
I received an email telling me to respond within 7 days to get a full refund for the Spring Training game that I bought tickets to. I called into their customer service and was told I would have my money within a couple of weeks. Nothing. I called into customer service again and they said they sent another email saying the same thing, respond within 7 days or it would become a credit. I followed the customer services direction from the first call that I would receive my refund and that no further action was required. They are telling me that I will only get credit now. They were never planning to refund me at all. I will never use this company again!
I have requested my full refund after waiting on hold for an hour and thirty minutes. I was told because I missed 7 days after I got a misleading cancellation email I can not get my full refund. It was exactly 13 days when I called from that email since I got another email saying I had a credit under my account. Filed a complaint and they simply replied with the email they sent me originally. This event was for a comedy show in which I do not go to concerts and just wanting my hard earned money back. If they do not fix this I will continue to report them and please DON'T EVER USE THEM.
Dont buy ticklets from them they are scammers they canceled the journey concert which I already paid for in 2019 due to covid19 and when I called to get a refund they refused to give me refund. They are awful!
The virus is keeping me from attending a Rolling Stones concert that was postponed indefinitely. They won't issue a refund
I am going to be one of those people that start this off by saying if I could give this company one star, I 100% would. I spent a little over 300 bucks on Halsey tickets in STL just for the concert to be rescheduled for the same date but a year later. (July 2021). I don't think it is crazy to expect someone wanting a refund for a concert that's postponed for a YEAR. They will try and tell you that once the event is officially cancelled, then you can get a refund, but even that is a sick joke. I know so many people that had baseball opening day tickets (obviously was cancelled over two months ago) and they didn't reply to an email (that only gave them 7 days mind you to reply) so they are not eligible for a refund either. IF A CUSTOMER PURCHASED TICKETS FOR AN EVENT THAT IS CANCELLED THEY SHOULD BE ISSUED A REFUND IMMEDIATELY REGARDLESS IF THEY REPLIED TO A FREAKIN EMAIL. I know this is "unprecedented times" right now, but wouldn't you think that means that people need their money back more than ever? I wont stop until I get a refund even if it means getting the Attorney General involved.
The short and sweet... no tickets, they won't allow communication with the seller as part of their "privacy protection policy," and no refund. Avoid at all cost.
After spending $188.00 for Detroit Tigers spring training game, the season was canceled. I returned my 3 tickets to Vivid as requested. I opted for a refund/credit. They then send out a confusing email about store credit and if you didn't read the whole thing or didn't see the fine print, you don't get a refund. In my case I didn't even see the follow up email. Either way, they will keep your money. DON'T EVER DO BUSINESS WITH VIVID SEATS!
The tournament played the first day, the rest of the games were canceled. They sent a email that stated if you want 100% refund do nothing and it would be refunded in 2 to 4 weeks. Simple! Called to check on my refund and they said they sent another email on April 15 stating you had 7 days to contact them for a full refund or you would get Credit. I talked to CS and they said that is there policy. Very poor business stuck with getting my last tickets from these Thieves!
If you watch the behavior of some businesses during this crisis you can get a picture of who they really are and despite their empty words of working with their customers, they have a strategy of milking every dollar they can.
Last November my wife and I purchased two tickets for a Michael Buble concert to be held May 8,2020 in Las Vegas. We got the tickets through Vivid Seats and the total cost for two tickets was $742. Forget the fact that the only way you can get these tickets is through a third-party vendor such as Vivid Seats, accompanied by their markup. It became very obvious that the concert was not going to be held on the proscribed date. We were informed today that in fact the concert had been "postponed" to a later date to be announced.
I inquired about getting a refund. Vivid Seats has a clear policy if the event is cancelled you will get a full refund. But in this case, they play semantics and say the event has been postponed. They don't have another date and do not know when they will have a date. In the meantime, they have collected millions of dollars from concert ticket buyers and have been sitting on that money, in my case, for over four months. For my point of view if the concert is not going to take place on the proscribed date then it has been cancelled. They can schedule another date for Michael Buble to appear but that will be a new concert.
If we assume that since Buble has cancelled his entire summer concert series due to the crisis then we may not see this event rescheduled until sometime in late 2020. So Vivid Seats can sit on this large pile of cash for close to a year or possibly longer.
I then indicated that I was not sure we could be in Las Vegas when the event is "rescheduled" since we do not know what our schedule will be in this scenario. I was informed that we could then sell the tickets through Vivid Seats and of course there would be another service charge accompanying that sale.
I think you can safely assume that I will no longer purchase any tickets through Vivid Seats or any other agent who adopts this rigid policy.
After the NCAA tournament was cancelled due to the Coronivirus, I am having a ver difficult time getting them to credit my visa card. NEVER AGAIN.
I hope they don't stiff me for 1300. 00. :(
Ryan was very helpful and was able answer all of my questions for my order. I had questions about the seats and helped me make the best decision. Thanks again Ryan!
Answer: They are a site just to help scalpers. Don't trust their tickets!
Answer: That is a good concern because I never did and they won't give me my money back either
