Vistaprint's reputation appears to be declining, particularly regarding customer service and product quality. While some customers have praised the quick turnaround times and effective support from individual agents, a significant number have reported frustrating experiences with unresponsive service, order errors, and poor-quality products. Common complaints include delays in delivery, inadequate communication, and unsatisfactory resolutions to issues. Additionally, customers have expressed concerns over the consistency of product quality, suggesting changes in manufacturing. Overall, while Vistaprint has a loyal customer base, many are reconsidering their relationship due to these persistent challenges.

I ordered business cards last week. I looked at a preview of my design, and everything looked great. I didn't realize I needed to review the proof to see how it would be printed. I receive my business cards, and one of the images is smudged. I contact customer service, and they send me a copy of the proof and sure enough it's smudged in the proof as well so it was my mistake for not double checking.
They let me correct my design, and sent out new ones for free including shipping. Their customer service was really great, and they were immediately willing to help me with a mistake I had made at no additional cost.
Ordered promotional materials weeks in Advance, and never received them. Now they say it's too late, it was your fault! Ruined an event I spent hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars on. Didn't even get an apology and the $20 they gave back didn't even start to cover my losses! Don't let Vista Print ruin your event as well!
Rude customer service and the quality of their products is horrible. I was promised a refund after they failed to make my product two times. Then they tried to blame me which was ridiculous. It's like a child oversaw their quality control. I would steer clear of this place unless youre in the market for low quality print work.
After I purchased some printed materials from VistaPrint they began charging me for website hosting services that I did not want and did not order. When confronted they agreed to refund myself payments which they did not do. Do not trust or do business with this deceitful company.
El peor servicio la ineptitud del que revisa las órdenes es lo peor. 3 veces ma orden y 3 veces llega mala. Y eso que la necesito urgente
I often use this and Shutterfly. I like this place better for the price and quality. For shipping, it takes long but Shutterfly takes longer. This is another reason for this place.
Cons. I have to watch the discount timing, as they are sometimes more pricey depending on how far they go for the discount. Watch for 50% or more discount.
I have been using Vista Print for years to make my business cards here in Houston! They are reasonably priced, of superb quality, and they arrive super fast. I wouldn't go anywhere else to have my cards printed. I use them for my Hair Salon, and Book Fares. TBriggsnovelist.com. I am a writer, and I hand out my cards every chance I get, therefore I want them to look professional.
I attempted to use Vistaprint for my company but they failed to meet the mark. I am extremely disappointed. Of the three samples I ordered, the first was poorly cut with uneven edges and tabs hanging in the corners. The second sample was completely misprinted, so much so that the entire card was illegible. When I addressed this with my account representative she said she would fix it and expedite me a new sample. The third sample showed two days after she said they would and they looked exactly same as the second illegible copy.
Bottom line: Vistaprint is one of the cheapest online business card printers and you get exactly what you pay for- low quality work delivered late. Pay a couple of dimes more per card and get something you can be proud of.
Our business order checks. They were fine. When we reordered, I confirmed the new check start number. We received a duplicate of the original order we placed. I contacted the company. They said sorry and they will reprint with the correct check numbers. I told them we were in a time crunch now since we had already waited a week for the check. No problem. They told me that we should receive the reprinted checks within 2 business days. When I received the e-mail confirmation, our delivery date is scheduled for a week out. I again contacted the company. They told me all they could do was that. Unless those check show up in two day, we will never be ordering from them again.
I've purchased business cards and post cards and have been very pleased. The quality of my items was very good and a great price. They offer plenty of deals and ship fast. Based on my experience I recommend them and will buy from them again.
I just received my business cards and found an issue with them. I called VistaPrint to ask about it and they were so helpful in fixing the problem and now they are sending out new ones at no charge! That says a lot in this day and age. I will definitely use them again for all my printing needs.
I've had my Christmas cards made with Vistaprint for several years. Easy to use site, large selection, wonderful customer service. Highly recommended.
I bought postcard mailers from Vistaprint and really liked everything about their product, and services too. The church that I attend has their website through Vistaprint as well. We have had great service through Vistaprint. Would buy from them again, and will tell other people about their products as well. Neither I myself, or the church I attend have had to return anything to Vistaprint. So that is the reason why I posted one star, in case the readers wanted to know why.
Terrible! Do not trust this company with your wedding invitations! I payed extra money to have my wedding invitations, RSVP and details card reviewed by a "Professional" and there were still numerous errors when I received them through the mail, letters were different fonts and sizes within the same word, the formatting was messed up and the paper was cut crookedly! When I called the company to fix the errors they gladly sent me a new product and the associate guaranteed the paper would be cut evenly and straightly... ahaha what a joke... I waited 5 days to get another substandard product and once again the paper was crooked! I could have hand cut the paper better then they did! I called they apologized and I demanded my money back. They "promised" a full refund in 3-4 business days. On the fourth business day no refund so I called the company, and apparently no refund was ever even processed, and now it will be 5 business days guaranteed! What a flipping joke, not only do I have no wedding invitations but am still dealing with this company's BS! Spare yourself the agony and DO NOT USE VISTAPRINT!
Sounds maybe a little bit too good to be true but I ordered them and couldn't be happier. If you want a better quality paper or your own design it may cost a little more but from what I can tell it's still a bargain.
I ordered my first promobox from Vistaprint recently during their $5.00 promotion. I submitted my designed logo, a mission statement, all types of contact information, etc.
Promobox arrived and the contents are just plain sad.
1. A pen. Says my company's name on it in a font DIFFERENT than my logo. No contact information. This is not an item I can hand someone as a giveaway and them be able to contact me. Not of much use to me as is.
2. LOOSE LEAF paper with my logo at the top and some contact info at the bottom. I will not use this. Secondly IF I did need something like this I would have printed it myself. Nothing word document could not have produced.
3. A card business holder. It's okay. Again, wrong font. Basically at this point I am feeling like a Vistaprint employee had to push boxes out as fast as possible and not two minutes was spent on my box. I requested modern designs and I see nothing of the sort.
4. Envelopes. My logo and business are in the upper left corner. I may use these but they weren't something I was looking for.
With a $5.00 promotion I was under the impression that vistaprint would WOW me with my first box (wether or not they lost a few dollars in product) to gain my business and allow me to continue my subscription. Based on the materials in my box they literally made money off of my $5.00. Loose leaf paper and envelopes are pennies.
At the end of the day, I believe I spent more time filling out their questionnaire than an employee spent to value me as a customer. Im super disappointed as this is something I could have used. Gave them the opportunity to gain my business and it's not even a consideration.
I have ordered wall calendars from VistaPrint several years in a row and it was ok, but this year it is a complete disaster. They changed the description of their calendar sizes and now when it shows 8.5" x 13" it is actually half of this size - 8.5" x 6.5". And on top of this my order was 3 times re-submitted because of production issues and delayed for more than a week after I called the customer service 3 times. And after this my VistaCash also disappeared so I had to cal them again to fix it.
Very very disappointed.
Been their customer for many years. Designed my own business cards and had them stored on my Vistaprint account for years without significant problems. They recently made changes to their website which messed up my business card layout and it was all lost. After attempting to redesign it I realised the interface is not as good as it used to be. I would still recommend their business card designer and printing. Just make sure to check them all after receiving as they tend to occasionally print low quality or misprint, but usually their business cards are quite fine.
Now regarding their other products, I would not recommend and here's why:
POSTCARDS - their postcards may be good as promotional cards, but not as view Post Cards for mailing, since the sizes are odd (too short) and do not match that of a typical Post Card or envelope and the paper quality is too thin and too low, while the print is also of a low quality and unattractive.
INK STAMPS - The rubber stamp shifts easily and you have to keep on readjusting it. The glue is too weak to hold the rubber pad in place. The ink supply of the rubber stamp wears off extremely fast and almost always a new rubber stamp only lasts for just about 25-100 impressions. All of them are like that. Their rubber stamps quickly lose impression quality as well and become extremely uneven. Absolutely not recommended. I would even say - Avoid.
STICKY RETURN ADDRESS LABELS - while it is convenient to design your own and they are quite of a larger size (I wish there were several sizes available, to fit on smaller envelopes as well) and the print is of a quite fine quality, but the GLUE is too weak and a lot of mail I received back had these labels semi-detached or even missing. Not recommended at all, because of the glue, unless you use extra glue and secure them with a tape!
I would only stick with Business cards and ignore the rest of their products, even the ones I did not test, as they may be of a low quality. The requests, cries and demands to increase quality of their products fell on deaf ears. Instead of that, they would rather offer and send you free extras rather than listen to your cries to improve quality of their products, so you could in turn order more from them in the long run.
One good thing is, if they screw up, they will most likely send you replacement of the product and extras, if you ask or demand it.
So unlike Bing.com, Twitter.com, Amazon.co.uk, Banknotes.com, Instagram.com etc. etc. That have great content VistaPrint.com is just average and is barely recommended.
Therefore I rate them 3 stars instead of 2. Although I would rate their rubber stamps at just 1 star or rather No star. Hmmm, wait, is there a Black Hole Rating (for rubber stamps)?
After ordering my new banner and getting in only 2 days I was disappointed to see that the image was very blurry due to the improper file format I used. Contacted VistaPrint and explained my dilemma and owned up to it being my poor choice of images. They immediately worked with me to get the correct file format and placed the order right then. On the phone for a total of 10 minutes and I will have the new banner in 2 days. Excellent customer service. I will definitely be using them again for all my printing needs.
Answer: Yes, the calendars are beautifully done and arrive in great shape, quality is very nice.
Answer: Yes - awhile back and its easy but seamless. Otherwise, the platform is easy but just takes some tweaking.
Answer: Call customer service at Vistaprint- it probably depends on the pen or it may not have refills. :)
Answer: That is on your end... It does not have 2 step verification like bank website do, but all you have to do is make a secure password uncommon to other passwords you use
Answer: We did graduation invites and the were awesome! We put my daughters gradation pictures on the invitation the price was better than anywhere else! If you need them in a hurry - you would have to pay extra shipping is all. :)
Answer: I think Vistaprint has a section on that subject and can point you in the direction of a designer it says they have a community of trusted designers! I suppose you can email them a image of it aqnd they will create it. Its not that hard to do it yorself if its not to elaborate I used photoshop and downloaded some free templates and manipulated them to get my desired card. But if your not up for it check these out here, https://www.vistaprint.co.uk/design
Answer: I believe its excellent! I am waiting for poloshirts to come in and I willbe ordering some myself. If you are not happy with anything from vistaprint Iwill sort it out I just had my card redone and they where really good at sorting the issue out. https://www.vistaprint.co.uk/satisfaction-guarantee
Answer: No Its actually belongs to Wix.com its been created with there site creator program so the site is not transferable in any way as Wix only allows you to use it becaiuse your hosting your site with them so provides a means for you to create a free site using their planner. Only your domain name can be moved depending who you have it with I know this as I created my own site through Wix directly but I didn't use Vistaprint to do it I did it myself I think they are just a middle man! In this case, I use others to host my domain emails as you can get that done cheaper else where but I'm happy with my site after editing the absolute hell out of the template but I loved manipulating the template and got it just how I like it. However be aware that if your not paying for any CEO services your site is just a portfolio and even though your registered on google search engines you won't be found under any serches for services! Gpoogle want money for you to be found or you have pay for a CEO service to constantly manipulate your ceo to get found for search quiries! I am found in google no problem but by name only not by service! I mainly use mine as a portfolio but am found via my cards and via the likes of face book and other simular apps. Which works for me.
