Long story short. I sold a genuine item. Purchaser said it was fake. Vinted let the purchaser keep the top and I didnt get my money. I am down a top and the money. I even sent evidence it was real with my Flannels account screenshots. No one cared. They blocked me and dont even have a valid complaints process. They will not be around long. DO NOT USE. Stick to EBAY.

Horrendous and quite frankly disgusting customer service. I am shocked! Have used eBay for years without an issue, yes you pay sellers fees but it is totally worth it. As a seller do not touch this platform as you will not be helped, your accout will then be blocked with no way to contact and £75 quid out of pocket! Not impressed AT ALL!
Fine if it works, but really disappointing support when there is an issue. They should not allow Yodel as a courier, as they are not fit for purpose. I ordered an item and it was "delivered" to a closed work address. When I say delivered, what I actually mean is left in the street in the centre of town. Unsurprisingly it was not received by me, so I raised it with customer services. After an investigation that took over a month, I was simply told that Yodel considered it delivered, so tough luck, and that was the end of the matter. Very disappointed, as the service had been good up until then, but very unlikely to use again, and will be warning friends to stay away.
Ordered an item, which went missing. Said it was delivered by Evri to the store to collect. Store did not have my parcel. I raised this to Vinted was given a form to complete within 48 hours which I did. Was informed not to message further as it wouldn't speed up the process for them to investigate so I waited. Then I get told that there was insufficient and "non-legible" proof that the item was missing and closed the case and took my money. At no point was I told that Evri needed more proof or that the form Vinted sent me was not enough. The Vinted support chat was completely unhelpful and when I asked why they didn't tell me I was required to send more proof they chose to ignore me. My Evri tracking also shows I did not collect the item which I sent a picture. Poor, Poor customer service and now I am out off pocket for an item I didn't receive.
No buyer protection. Any problems Vinted do not want to know. They just take your money. Seller can sale you something that's nothing like the item they have listed and Vinted say sort it out yourself.
Been selling/buying on this site for months now and getting more and more frustrated with CS. Buyer didn't pick up item so was returned to me but lost in the process. I've reported this to vinted multiple times and keep getting told different responses! One said I was going to get a refund transferred as timeframe has passed which never arrived and when queried again was told to wait longer. So which is it?! Terrible customer service when something goes wrong. Will not be using this site again.
You will be answered time and again by a bot. Instead of letting a human review carefully issues, they just assume some very general and vague guidelines will serve all. You'll lose more money selling there, than actually eatning, Precious items I personally curated for years got lost with no compensation.
Bought a designer item only to find out two weeks later it's a counterfeit. Vinted don't give a toss. They charge you extra money for "Buyer protection" which you don't get and despite their help pages saying they do not permit the selling of counterfeit goods on their site and they'll step in if you're sold a fake item, what they actually say is this, and I quote "Hello. We're sorry for the inconvenience but there's little we can do." So, Vinted are full of s*** and their site rammed with cheap knock offs. My only option has been to report them to the police along with the seller and contact my credit card company for a chargeback. All very inconvenient but you'll have to do the legwork yourself because Vinted sure as hell won't. Avoid them if you have any sense!
Why do I have to pay to return an item that is significantly not as described. Robbery avoid. When a shoe is described as size 37 and a 36 arrives why should I have to pay to return it?
After not receiving my delivery, Team Vinted continues to delay my claim for a refund. I've filled in a form and they've contacted the carrier who claimed my product was delivered when it wasn't. After days of not informing me of the situation, they continue to delay proceedings and now they want me to provide purchase information to the carrier, despite the carrier already claiming my item was delivered!
Clearly, they want me to give up on the claim so they don't refund me.

I've made a purchase of an item on the 11/09 and the item still hasn't been shipped.Contacted the customer support saying that the item hasn't been sent by the seller and they have noticed him but I have to wait another 5 days till my order is gonna be cancelled and my money refunded wich is unacceptable from my point of view since the seller hasn't been bothered to even post the item in 7 days.
Scams are increasing by the day. Vinted customer service is non existent. No response, or computer generated response completely unrelated to the problem. No telephone number because they are not interested in solving any problems.
I bought two items from two different sellers, both sent me the exact same Royal Mail postage receipt. It wasn't actually a receipt, it was a picture of a postage label. Of course, the item never arrives because it was never posted. Seller logs it as lost and claims the refund because I have of course paid the compulsory buyer protection. I am recompensed too, but not for the buyer protection fee, so the only person out of pocket is me.
This is on the increase and will affect future buyers as the buyer protection will increase to cover the amount of "lost" Mail now going through.
Vinted are completely disinterested. They will not reply to warnings, complaints or any other form of communication. BEWARE. Scams are on the increase and you will be caught out at some point.
I have added a photo of the fake "receipt ". If you get this sent to you, you have just lost your buyer protection fee and you will have to wait at least 10 days to get any money back. Write to Vinted and complain, but don't expect any valid response or for them to do anything about solving the problem.
Vinted app is now being deleted from my devices.
This app is a joke, my account was first blocked without any pre-notification, this happened months ago I had several attempts contacting them, mainly asking how my account could be restored and now I tried withdraw my balance which failed...on top of this they sent me an email after the failed withdrawal where they recommend me to contact them in the provided link " contact us" that led me to page which said it is not available because my account is blocked. Complete joke.
Opened an account. Started to advertise genuine items that I no longer wanted. 4 items later, I had a notification saying that my account was blocked for suspicious activity. Apparently I didn't meet their guidelines even tho every item was genuine and showed clear pictures showing labels etc. Staff unhelpful and refused to do anything. Contacted them requesting to delete my account. If they're reading this, you really need to get your act together. Employ the right sort of people and not kids who clearly don't know what they're doing! Can't be doing with this kind of rubbish. I will revert back to ebay where I deal with professional people and not amateurs. Would not recommend Vinted.
The worst service I ever had.
The account was blocked in the first hour because I uploaded a "not original" product. For this case, I attached photos that confirm the originality of the products. Support saw my message but did not answer. Terrible website.
My account got blocked, no reasons were given. Did not get any kind of warning as to what Im done wrong on the site earlier, just straight permanent block in my account all of a sudden. Repeatedly tried to contact CS for 2 months now, just to receive no answer whatsoever. Company like this, and they've got no phone number, god damn ludicrous… Seems impossible to get in touch with them at all
Because I tried to login to my account on someone else his phone, my account was blocked definitely.

Don't trust this site if anything happens you are on your own! Don't believe what they say on the site that you are covered bla bla bla... once you have any kind of problems that is it! And even when you call them they can't help you and the Don't have the answer why?

Answer: Well you can't. You need to do your homework when asking questions to a seller. Request additional pictures too. The seller never has access to your money until you "receive" and accept the items. So if you get a designer item you have questions about take it to your nearest high-end consignment. If you find the item is not real simply let CS know under the accepting. Tell them what the problem is. More likely than not you will get a return request label. Just send it back and all your money if refunded. On Poshmark all items over $500 are automatically sent to a Posh center to be authenticated before its sent to you. The best way to know your getting the real deal is buy from again a local high-end consignment or an online that specializes in only a few brands rather than any. It takes a lot of training to become an expert on authentication.
