I just downloaded Vinted a day ago and so far I absolutely love it. It's so easy to navigate. I'm on three other apps that I really like so I've been looking foe another app like those and finally I found one. It's great for sellers cause they dnt charge you crazy fee's, the buyers pay for tax, processing fees, etc. Which as a seller, I knw sellers usually get taxed 10%-12% of the price and other fee's so this app is a dream for sellers. You can sell cheap and make every bit of it. So customers get lower prices but they pay for any fees. So far I'm happy with it and I would recommend for sellers. I have never bought anything on Vinted yet but what I have seen I liked. Bravo Vinted!
I used to have Good experiences until they accused me of working for a commercial company (I am a student so not true) and they deleted most of my closet with pictures that have taken me hours to make. Also some of the clothes they deleted were boosted for 6 more days which i paid for but they won't give my money back.
I contacted them but I only get automated reply's or messages that don't give me any answers, also no reply about what i should do and no answer about giving me my money back.
I talked to two people and it took ages for them to answer me back with no real reply or solution. Just horribl.
Terrible customer service. I am locked out of my account because I do not have a EU phone number to use, and when I asked if they could help me enter back into it, they took days to respond to me, going in circles, and eventually, gave me no alternative solution. I am out 30 Euro and a pair of shoes that I really liked. DO NOT RECOMMEND. STAY AWAY FROM THIS WEBSITE. When I tried to readdress the issue I had, they closed the chat before even giving me an answer
I recently sold an item which the buyer complained it didn't fit. She had asked for a refund which I agreed to save the hassle, assuming there will be an arrangement for the returns, before the refunds are processed. But no, the customer service says there's nothing they can do since I've agreed to the refund before making private agreements with the buyer. So now I'm just praying that the buyer is honest enough to return the item in it's original condition to me ASAP. It's a shame and disappointment because normally I'm the buyer and the experience had been good.
I can't receive a refund even if me and the seller agreed on it. The customer service is ignoring my msgs and I can't receive my money back. They are extremely unprofessional
No seller protection against malicious buyers
No seller protection - scammers appear to be protected by Vinteds rules.
Buyer received the item and said was in PERFECT CONDITION however found a dirty mark, of which I was unaware of. Buyer did not try to remove the ‘dirty mark' and no photos to support their findings! I Advised I was happy to refund on return of item however the buyer according to Vintage t&cs to pay for postage.
Buyer was not happy with this so maliciously damaged the item beyond repair attempting for postage be covered by the seller.
Due to the malicious damage, I advised vintage I was no longer willing to accept a return and asked them to view the chat history as there was no discussion of there ever being damage ‘a hole' in the item. Vintage asked the buyer to send photos 5 days after they had received the item - plenty of time for malicious damage to be made and not a true representation on the item received, however Vinted turn a blind eye to this fact.
Vinteds' resolution was the item be returned to me and the buyer refunded! I am now left with an item that is damaged and unable to sell?
The chat history was evidence enough that the buyer damaged on purpose however this has been ignored.
Formal complaint proceedings against Vinted and the buyer will be progressed.
I recently sold a watch over Vinted. Unfortunately the straps were damaged during postage, and it arrived broken. Naturally, the buyer complained. I contacted Vinted support, confident that they would be able to help me. I could not have been more wrong. It turns out that they assume all their sellers are lying cheats, who would deliberately sell broken items. They offer no help or support, and are incapable of reading the messages sent to them. Every message I received from Vinted felt like a slap in the face, and I will never ever buy of sell on this website again. I can not advise more strongly against using the awful website.

I started using Vinted about two months ago. I also sell on Mercari and Poshmark as well. It took a couple weeks to make my first sell as I expected since I had no reviews and I was new... they don't charge a fee, but if you want to bump your items, you must pay to do so. I've sold six items so far. So why one star? They will remove listings without rhyme or reason and when you ask why... they will tell you it's against the rules, but won't explain the rules. They tell you that you can't sell New items because they are "commercial." WTF? They have a "New With Tags" category, but you can't sell NWT because they will assume you are a store and delete your items... no questions asked. Meanwhile sellers with high volume sells and followers are allowed to carry on with selling boutiques on their profile... hypocrisy at it's best. The selling process is slow and uneasy. Once someone offers a price for your item and you accept... you have to wait days sometimes for them to get back to you unlike Mercari where your acceptance is an instant sale. One scary aspect is when and how you get your money. My first transfer. Into my bank went well, while my second one was returned to my Vinted account. It's just kind of a shady site. I feel like the administrators are a bunch of people sitting at home on their computers making up the rules on their own. These people also have access to our personal accounts. Very unprofessional.
Purchased a pair of pants on Vinted. Wasn't able to pick up the package due to Covid 19. Package was sent back to seller but was updated in the system as delivered. Contacted Vinted for a refund since the item was sent back. They said no and to contact the seller. I contacted the seller and she refuses to give me back my money. I even sent pictures of proof to Vinted with the seller admitting that she received the pants and refuses to give me back my money or send out again! No pants, no refund and this after paying the buyers protection fee. Very unprofessional site. It's like gambling! Don't do it! So upset! Seller is heloised8. This is on Vinted France.
I had a listing on vinted for $25 however VINTED only charged my buyer $10. By the time I noticed I had ready shipped the items. When I contacted vinted, I didn't hear anything back from them until over a week later and they pretty much said it was my fault and I needed to reach out to the buyer and have the buyer compensate me.
I bought few things on Vinted, and the seller made shipping label but she never shipped the package. I try to contact the seller but without any respond from her. I realize the seller was a scammer. I contacted Vinted customer service, I try to explain the situation, and Vinted respond was just to wait for the package to arrive. I try to explain few times that the seller never shipped the package. My payment was released to the seller without any concern about me as a buyer. Please don't buy anything from Vinted. Mercari is the best.
The app says that my item was delivered when the USPS tracking page says that it was never received by them. I cannot find any way to contact the Vinted team about this. I think I just lost my money on that transaction. Stay away if you don't want to risk losing money!
I do not like selling here! I find it very ridiculous that people can change their reviews after seeing what you review them! That defeats the purpose of reviewing others!
Bought so many times with Vinted and paid buyer protection for every single transaction and the first time something went wrong with the postage I was obviously believing that the Vinted support would help me on the matter because in fact that's what I pay the buyer protection for. But they did nothing and basically told me that they can't do anything and it's my problem!

I just sold my Louis Vuitton to this buyer (dorothee*******) she claimed that my items are fake, then I'll show her my invoice from Louis Vuitton, my Email that I've received from Louis Vuitton, even I showed her my account of my order history from Louis Vuitton. I made a report to vinted, about her claims that doesn't feel right, vinted took action that very disappointed and outside their policy, they are breaking their own policy and take a side from the buyer which she had switched my authentic item and showed to vinted with the fake item of hers. She now has her money back and refused to send my Louis Vuitton back! Now i just lost a hight value item! Beware of this buyer! Her username is (dorothee*******) and her real name is ( dorothee vanderzypen) really be careful for the seller who happens to have this buyer. She's a scammer and try to still your item!
I think the title pretty much says it all. I haven't sold one single item since January. I had over 100 items listed. Some people liked my items but no one ever bought. It's a waste of time. If you are frustrated you should feel completely validated...
Worst site ever. Certainly not sell anything on this site. They do not protect the seller. You can only write a review if the buyer accepts it. This is very bad. Because you can never give an honest opinion of the buyer. Only if they accept it.
Plus you can also work with a nickname so that nobody knows who you are.

Answer: Well you can't. You need to do your homework when asking questions to a seller. Request additional pictures too. The seller never has access to your money until you "receive" and accept the items. So if you get a designer item you have questions about take it to your nearest high-end consignment. If you find the item is not real simply let CS know under the accepting. Tell them what the problem is. More likely than not you will get a return request label. Just send it back and all your money if refunded. On Poshmark all items over $500 are automatically sent to a Posh center to be authenticated before its sent to you. The best way to know your getting the real deal is buy from again a local high-end consignment or an online that specializes in only a few brands rather than any. It takes a lot of training to become an expert on authentication.
