I've been using Vinted for a while and recently I decided to try and buy a pair of shoes on it (I was afraid because of all the bad reviews given). I hadn't sold any of my own items but really wanted the shoes. So, I bought them. The seller was very friendly. She texted me and told me when she put it in the mail. I paid Vinted and they held on to the money until I got the shoes and everything was okay with them. Then they payed the seller. I very happy with the way things went!
Things on Vinted don't sell that fast, making it hard to not loose faith. People on Vinted seem very held back on buying, but at some point I sold something on Vinted. Unfortunately I lost the item. Luckily Vinted responded very quickly over the email and told me how to fix it. Very happy with their service. The buyer was very understanding too.
Not everything is bad on Vinted as people make it sound. It's just that some people ruin it for everyone else. Just be selective in who you sell it to and who you buy from.

Two items were sold shippend separately and both items somehow got lost by DPD. Now Vinted is saying for months that they can't do anything and that they're waiting on feedback from DPD.
So items gone lost and no money!

Really disappointed I wasted my time. I decided to try another site because of other platforms high commissions. I did have issues right from the start that I saw other people when I read the reviews had. They deleted one of my listings which was not a duplicate when I finally got a hold of someone they did apologize and said that they reinstated it but that was just one of the issues that I had and it's only been a week. The worst part is I can't reach anyone when I went to message them today I just kept getting an error message saying they could not be reached directly and this was by email and chat. I see that they claim to have buyer protection but I don't see anything for seller protection. Well that's pretty scary considering all the issues I'm already having and there's no way to contact them not even through email or chat. If someone could just do one of these platforms correctly and with better commissions they would have everyone else's business. Instead people are just left taking chances and losing way too much of their profit.

At first i could'nt believe it, so i had to experience it myself..
The team is so unprofessional. They decided that my yeezys were fake. U know this type of stupid ppl who want to prove they're working and have expertise because they're insecure? These bunch of people actually work at vinted... they must hate themselves doing this but they still do it and here we go: my unpacked yeezys with receipt and multitude bar code are suddenly fake just because. Dump people you are. Shame on being you. Just focus on become better persons than trying to stop others.
I've used Vinted without any problems for a few years now, all the buyers and sellers I've dealt with are lovely. However, Vinted took it upon themselves to delete an item of makeup I was selling as it (in their opinion) was used, not new. (Photo attached) Not so. I bought two in error, swatched the one I was keeping and put that photo up. Bad move. And they are completely uncontactable, you cannot email, phone, message them. They ignore any tweets. I feel very hard done to, especially as near as last week they forwarded me a message (via email) as is their custom from a seller to which I had asked a question. The message said yes, mostly new, I have just swatched a couple of shades' (from an eyeshadow palette). And I can't get at them to complain! They have gone right down, IMO.
BUNCH OF UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE GATHERING ON ONE PLACE WHO HAS NO IDEA WHAT THEY DOING, STAY AWAY FROM VINTED.
I really do not recommend selling on here, buyers can get away with anything, Vinted provide no protection, its up to you and the buyer to resolve the issue and then Vinted make the final decision in a dispute but I don't know if they even look at the facts. The buyer wanted to return it because of the quality and fit and damaged the item and Vinted refunded her. Another thing you don't know until you have a dispute is that they do not make buyers return goods - they will refund the buyer but say its up to the buyer if they choose to return the goods, so you are not paid and do not receive the item back. You need to have receipts for everything as if the buyer questions if its fake (even an ordinary non designer item) if you can't provide it then they will refund the buyer. So disappointed I didn't listen to all the hundreds of reviews, its not worth it. And there is no comeback when anything goes wrong as they are registered abroad so you can't report them to trading standards like you can with a UK company.
This website is a scam, well most of the people on here. I sent one of my products to someone, they wanted a refund so I gave it to them then the people never returned the item. Absolutely fuming and the people that work for Vinted don't care at all! If I could give 0 star I would I don't like it that much!
I sold an item that was brand new and had never been worn. Upon receiving the item, the buyer said that my item did not match the description, which wasn't true. I attached photos and left an accurate description- the item was brand new there was nothing wrong with it! Vinted gave her a full refund and I have messaged the buyer multiple times to please send me back my item. I even offered to pay her postage to send back MY item. I reported this to VInted and all they said was it was my fault for not giving her my return address. Horrible customer service, horrible company altogether. Will never purchase or sell on Vinted again.
Don't use this site it's more hassle than it's worth for 4 days I've been trying to get in contact with someone over a buyer who is refusing to put down they have received there order. The person I sold this too is clearly a scammer and this site is a good way of getting away with it!
Luckly the item I sold wasn't expensive but it's principle that an item you have clearly sent out and paid for postage with PROOF should be paid back to you but on the other hand vinted only care about the money they make they don't not care about the people losing out after a 2 attempts to contact and being fobbed off I was told my tracking number on my receipt is a fault number however they will contact the lady to see if she has it! Considering I've been trying to contact the lady for days! How is that my fault in the first place vinted really need to have a look at the people that are signing up and if these are real people or scammers
So in honesty I made a fair bit on money selling clothes on here and had some lovely buyers with great communication on the other hand when you get a annoying buyer Noones there to help you or give you the money that is clearly yours in the first place it goes in the a pending balance and stays there until the person has marked down they've received it. So after 10 days I'm still waiting so for anyone looking for a stress free selling page this is not the one!

Had a terrible experience with this app. Seller sold me replica of an item and i wanted to send it back but it took me weeks to contact someone and the customer service is non existent... I already sent the item back with the agreement of the seller but no refund and no answers at all from Vinted... really a nightmare with this app dont download it because you Will most definitly have a bad experience with it. Just read the other reviews on trustpilot.com if you dont believe me.
I agree with most people here services team a group of robots does any life person work there? They make it soo difficult to sell something my items have been put down from them many times they always question authenticity, I have try to sell maybe Michael kors ag and the doubt if it's authenti? Wanned me to upload more pictures which I did and still asking for more the responses are short robotic and not detailed to the topic like you can send it to any case... the bag I sent authentic purchase at dillards with tags on halo it's only Michael kors it's not luxury bag no lt gucci Louis Vuitton or Chanel they don't have authenticity code or card inside. They should educate the robots that work there how to spot fake bag and not making such a big deal of ordinary brand! I think the only no problem items to sell there I ya just garage junk than they will leave you alone... no wonder everybody buy and sell way better on mercari and poshmark if I mention vintage nobody no this I opposite to posh or mercari. It is very difficult to get any customer service, the people who work there are like robots they just copy and paste a text and it is almost impossible to talk someone to inquiry about anything. Also they have this bad custom to be annoying and to ask copies of passport and identification card I am very concerned about those requests from this site because I don't know how they protect the data and they keep threatening to close the account if we don't validate it with the document. They made the experience of visiting their website a very bad experience. U
Absolutly shocking level of customer support. I sold a set of beautiful brand new Elizabeth Arden make up brushes. The buyer said that they were fake and Vinted cancelled the order. They are absolutly not fake, they were just not to the buyers liking. I provided proof to vinted that this brand only use synthetic hair in their make up brushes, this does not mean the item is fake. However, I was sent copy and paste messages to educate me on the legalities of selling counterfeit products. Not only that, vinted takes no part in ensuring that the buyer sends back the unwanted item. So long story short... Buyer gets refunded and keeps the items. Scam site. Zero seller protection. An absolute joke of a business.
After many years being a user of Vinted, they have blocked my account for no reason. I have contacted them twice, having a pending order to be delivered and credit in my account and they have not replied. Their forum and support team are the most unhelpful ever. Would not recommend at all
I sold a pair of Nike Hi Vandals & got an excellent price for them! No fees. I shipped as soon as they sent me the label & it was to my buyer in a few days. She gave me a great rating & my funds were released.
In that way, I've had a seamless experience with Vinted thus far. The shoes sold on my first day on the platform. That said, they do seem to be slower in terms of what people buy & a lot of the items are much lower in price than my merchandise is worth. I was hoping it would be good for some of my less expensive designer goods, but with the price limitation & the fact that there do not seem to be as serious of buyers, I don't know if this is a good long term solution.
From a social standpoint, I actually quite enjoy the forums.' That's something I'd enjoy on Poshmark. I also like the fact that I can send additional photos to a user. That is SO much nicer than trying to collage or cram 2 listings with photos & hope I have enough.
I don't know how I'll feel about Vinted in the long term, but as an honest seller, I have not had any issues in my limited time using them. But I've also not really had issues with most sales platforms. I'll update as things move along, but for the moment, I'm giving Vinted a shot.
Not only does this site condone bullying, harassment and abuse but they actually encourage it! Multiple known scammers on the site who are still allowed to be active and continue to scam other members. The verbal abuse and bullying is shocking and lack of support from Vinted is truly disgusting.
After being scammed multiple times and recieving severe verbal abuse i contacted Vinted to report and my complaint was dismissed. I kindly asked Vinted to close my account as it wouldn't allow me to do so by myself, and again they refused and ultimately subjecting me to further harrassment, bullying and verbal abuse. Some members even think it's okay to threaten one another in a public manner via the forum or public feedback, which once again Vinted will not remove!
This site is enough to take its toll on anyone's mental health, which is why I have also reported to trading standards. A website so poorly run, and putting people's genuine safety in jeopardy is extremely calculated and sadistic. So if you don't value your happiness or want to develop mental health issues then go ahead and join this site

I have a problem with my location, when I try to upload some clothes and I want to give my location, there always comes an error.
When I contact the helpdesk, they 'promise' an anwer within 24 hours, but afterparty 24 hours still no reply.
This app is crap.
Answer: Well you can't. You need to do your homework when asking questions to a seller. Request additional pictures too. The seller never has access to your money until you "receive" and accept the items. So if you get a designer item you have questions about take it to your nearest high-end consignment. If you find the item is not real simply let CS know under the accepting. Tell them what the problem is. More likely than not you will get a return request label. Just send it back and all your money if refunded. On Poshmark all items over $500 are automatically sent to a Posh center to be authenticated before its sent to you. The best way to know your getting the real deal is buy from again a local high-end consignment or an online that specializes in only a few brands rather than any. It takes a lot of training to become an expert on authentication.
