Vinted customer service

Very bad customer service won't help with harassment I brought a pair of jeans and the seller didn't send them In time so Vinted cancelled and sent a refund so I left a review saying don't recommend and she messaged me being rude

Ive been waiting for weeks to get paid

I sold a item on vinted and the buyer received it but Im still waiting to get paid, the order was made on June 29th and I shipped it the next day with UPS and I'm still waiting (today is July15th), once this purchase is complete I will close my account, this is absolutely ridiculous, DO NOT use this site, it is the worst.

Vinted is horrible as a seller. You can't list new items. Customers none they just look but Do not buy. This app is very horrible waste of my time listing items for Nothing. If I can give Vinted a Zero I would because they deserve a zero.

On't allow me to take my money out.
I have been selling vintage clothing and jewellery in vinted for quite some time, and up until now, have not had any serious issues. I have approximately £170 sitting in my vinted account from a couple of recent sales. But now vinted are refusing to release my money to me until I verify my identity. They say this is a general security measure they do from time to time, although I have never had any problems until now.
The issue is, they only accept driving licence or passport. That's it. No other form of identification is accepted.
Now I, just like many people, don't drive, and don't travel. So where does that leave me?
Trying to contact them is a nightmare, as there is no e mail, Tel number. Nothing. Only their customer service messaging service, which is a hit or a miss if they actually reply to you. If on the rare occasion you do get a reply, it is along the lines of, "Tough. That's all we accept, so you can't get your money."
This is money I earned through selling on their website, and they are holding my own money, and refusing to come to any solution with me.
Surely not everybody in this world drives or has a passport?! Surely they must understand that, and agree to accept other forms of identification. I have offered my birth certificate, utility bills, bank statements, wage slips. But they won't budge. Surely this is illegal. Anybody got any advice?

Enabling scammers

I have been scammed this week and followed the procedures and thought everything was okay. However, because the scammers are good at What they do have scammed me but somehow it's my fault. Never been so angry and let down by a company. Have been emailing them for 4 days now and have NO reply! It's a shambles really … ( use Depop instead)

I opened a bottle of Biotherm and it was clearly not the product. It snelled of urine snd the colouring was off. I write a complaint and nobody cared. They would not even give me my money back nor did they contact the seller. They should be ethically concerned. I was able to compare it to the one bought at the pharmacy.

I brought a bag from vinted but the seller didn't mention in the description the bag was damaged she said it was very good condition when I received the item i saw it was damaged I contacted vinted they told me i have too pay the sendi it back soo i could get a refund but why do i have to pay too send it back the answer seller gave me was you should of aksed me before buying the bag

Bought a dress of a lovey seller with great communication. Yodel delivered the item (dumped outside door) whilst out and when I returned there was no sign of it. Raised it straight away with seller and Vinted. Vinted placed this on hold whilst they looked into it. Yodel confirmed delivery outside porch and Vinted come back with well its been delivered not our problem. After asking repeatedly for help (and then telling me to ask seller for refund) and yodel confirming Vinted have logged a compensation claim I'm left with no other choice than to raise a dispute with the bank. Today received threatening email telling me I can't do that. We'll goods not delivered I think you'll find I can!

No protection for buyers or sellers. Worse experience I've ever had. They're just interested in making money

Vinted Scam alert

Please do not put your bank details in the Vinted app. I did that to try to sell an item to a very very keen buyer but was scammed £96 the next day. My money was spent on various occassions and by the time I froze it and contacted bank £96 was gone. Absolute no no.

At one time you could buy unusual things from honest people here, but alas no more. It is now just a site for dishonest people to glean money for old tat that should be binned - and lots of rude little children who harrass you to buy as well. Customer service is a joke - buyers have to pay to return grossly misdescribed items, so usually don't, and then they are not allowed to leave feedback to warn others! Counterfeit sellers have run amok and payment scams are rife. DO NOT USE THIS SITE - just chuck your cash out the nearest window, it will save you so much time and stress.

Malicious company

As a seller, you will not have any type of support to ensure transactions are honest. Their practices are scams to profit from their users. I was told by its customer service that I would be fully reimbursed but after they made me wait for 4 months, they gave almost half less. They play to tire the customers until they just have to accept whatever they think your item is worth which is NEVER to their disadvantage.

Vinted are unfair and unprofessional. Deleted all my listings which have been their for months and all because of one listing which they"assumed without questioning" that it was commercial. I was selling my sister in laws clothes who sadly passed away a couple of years back from a rare cancer and the money was for charity. I am a full time carer and I do not operate a business. Vinted can go and screw themselves. I'll go to EBAY instead.

Allows scams and abuse from sellers….

Where to start with this story…. I brought something on Vinted, postage was £2.15. I paid that £2.15. Seller gets back to me after 11 days telling me I need to pay the £3.50 that Royal Mail have demanded me to pay to receive my parcel. This woman didn't pay the full postage price. She paid the £2.15 but that wasn't the correct price of the parcel. She printed off a label from Royal Mail which is prepaid, she didn't measure the parcel or weigh it and just guessed it's a small parcel. So therefore I'm expected to pay triple as much for postage as her why? Along with that she also posted it in the postbox to avoid paying the full price. I once got a prepaid label wrong and brought it to the post office and I paid extra because basically my scales had broken and given me the wrong weight. But I got corrected and paid for it as I should have and is didn't charge the other person extra either. Royal Mail should know better too but there is no protection for buyers on Vinted. They are slow replying and about an entire 4 hours today I've been receiving abusive messages from this woman because she's been caught out by me. Telling me I'm a peasant because I currently don't have a job. Telling me I'm going to be a bad mother to my unborn child and also saying I'm not important and she is. She also spammed me with the word c*** and called me a variety of other names like tramp and told me I should go beg in the streets to get my £3.50 to pay her. It's utterly disgraceful behaviour and if she doesn't get removed from all of this I will be filing lots of complaints. If I don't get my money back rightfully then I will be pressing charges for theft. Because I still don't have my item and I'm not going to pay tons of more money all because she didn't pay it. I do not understand how that's okay in any way. Royal Mail should automatically charge her with that money, and Vinted need to give better support. I am going to upload some of the things this woman said but I will say I acted like I was unaffected back with laughing faces and that. I know I probably have been more chill but I believe in defending myself and not taking this from anyone. Please help Vinted. It should be removed from the public.

Vinted scammers- criminal

Hello everyone, please work together to shut vinted down! They are scamming so many people for their money. This is a crime Vinted, robbed us for our money. My story is, I am a single mom. I was sell my clothes to pay for my kids school. I sold almost $1400. I never got a penny from my sales. I contacted Vinted over 60 times they had me convinced the issue was coming from my bank. I finally went personally into my bank they confirmed my bank account information and did an investigation. They concluded vinted never tried to pay me. Every time I contact Vinted they ask me to reset my bank account information. I feel so hurt, I got scammed! Please everyone shut vinted down!

I have had several times i have lost money due to bugs in vinted where the details of the buyer and address are incorrect, I send the parcel and then another person contacts me that the parcel never arrived, the system, changed the details but i am left with the parcels being lost in the black hole and not getting the money, plus then customers that are disappointed!
Fix the bugs and put in a proper customer service!
