I just started selling on Vinted and the 3rd item I sold was a jacket barely worn worth £75. I sold it for £15 which I felt was much less than it's worth but hey if someone else can get use of it. When the buyer received the jacket they raised an issue because there was a hole the size of a pin head on the rim of the sleeve which I didn't even notice to be honest. I offered a refund but the buyer also wanted me to cover the postage which I wasn't willing to do. Vinted then gave me 48 hours to provide the buyer my address. I didn't notice the message and when I contacted Vinted just outside of the 48 hours they said it was too late and they had refunded the buyer who still had the jacket. I have tried to message customer services but they appear to be incapable of responding to my questions and continually state this is their process and there is nothing they can do. They can't even answer a simple question of what is their complaints procedure. Avoid using their platform at all cost. I wish I had read the reviews before selling any items on there as it seems they are not highly rated at all.

Horrible

The worst customer service and worst scammers. I purchased sunglasses that apparently was counterfeit and didn't get any refund. Vinted just stated that this is my own fault.

Awful company.

Awful company, i was warned by a friend but thought i saw some bargains. Very first buy the seller sent me the wrong item. Customer care(less) told me I'd have to pay to send wrong item back and I wouldn't get my money back. STAY AWAY

Scam! Note: I HAVE HIGH REVIEWS AS A SELLER AND BUYER. NOT A SINLE DISSAPOINTED CUSTPMER FROM ME ON VINTED.

SO...

I ordered a pandorra charm, received a parcel with the empty box. Sent it to customer services. They were investivating for a month, saying they meed more info. I was always giving everything i could. Actually what can i give right? The box in the parcel was empty. So they were asking mw to wait, wait, wait. Then i went for Bank hol weekend, they sent me some carrier form to fill in - like a claim. Note: i am not a sender to claim (!). Item description etc etc. I was away, but apparently they needed this form back in TWO DAYS. After two days - they didnt receive my form, because obv i was away. And guess what - they closed the case, charged me for my purchase (!) and happy days. Such a rubbish customer service. I will be poating this everyqhere now so they all see and not use this scam app.

Rubbish app!

Their customer service is literally non-existent. Parcel was damaged in transit yet they didn't care at all and just kept sending me automated responses relating to something completely different. I only managed to get my money back thanks to the seller who was really helpful and opened a dispute with them herself. Otherwise, very disappointing. Reading other reviews for this app is unbearable. Be aware when using Vinted.

I am both a buyer and seller, and have had great experiences with both uses of this app. I did find that the return system is a little difficult. But for getting and seller old slightly used clothes this app is my go to! Totally recommend!

Sellers don't even post. No contact from vinted

Jessicafinley1712 this seller hasn't sent my item in 9 days! Yet there's no option to leave her negative feedback. I asked her at 7 days had she posted my parcel yet she came online saw it and ignored me so later I asked again is there a problem as she's not replied even though I can see she's been on. She casually and full of herself says we don't have to post on here for 7 days and that she's got work and kids ( i have both those things but still get my parcels out first and if I'm going to be delayed I would immediately ask the buyer if its OK not leave it) she then says my parcel will be posted in the time frame will it past and I complained to vinted and got a generic response its now been 9 F#@%%g days! And she still hasn't i should be able to leave bad feedback at this point but can't. Its obvious this womans done this before. All your site has shown me is that feedback scores can't be trusted as I don't believe for a second this TIMEWASTING WOMAN Hasnt had others leaving her negative feedback. I Want my money back. I went with out food to make the purchases on your site. Wont be using again. Amd will chargeback at bank

They stole my money

Vinted stole my money!
After a month of sales and accumulated 320 euros on the balance of Vinted, I was asked for identification and froze the balance.
Identification I can not pass already 3 weeks, and it is impossible to achieve clarification from the support service of what is exactly wrong with my identification and documents...
If you get into a similar situation, know that you will not get an answer, because you will be communicated to the bot and every time postpone solving your problem for 48 hours!
Given that I am a refugee from Ukraine, and sold my stuff to have money for food, I can not tell you the extent of my outrage!
All items purchased from me have been received by customers and left more than 70 positive feedbacks!
But I have NOT received money and it seems I will never get any!
Vinted thieves!

Currently a member on Vinted. I'm a seller. Although it's great to get money back for items that I no longer wear and to also clear the space. You have to have trust in the buyer, I've had it happen so many times where I have tracked if my package has arrived to the buyer and I can clearly see it has, but when you try message the buyer to ask them, they just ignore you and won't mark it down as received so that you can receive your money. So you result to contacting Vinted and even though you show all proof to Vinted and explain your issue, they still don't help you receive your money. So it leaves you in a situation where you have not got your item or your money for your item. Terrible service from Vinted! They need to change how they do this ASAP because it's not fair on the seller who takes a loss from buyers who try to play games and pull stunts.

Never purchase from Vinted! They force you to pay a customer protection fee that does not cover anything! I bought a Pop and the seller posted it only wrapped inside a piece of paper. Imagine posting a Pop without placing it inside a box. As can be imagined, the Pop arrived damaged. But Vinted has asked me to pay for the return of the item, to get a refund! The item has arrived damaged because of the seller, but I need to pay for the return fees, because according to Vinted the buyer pays for return!

It was great until

Until they blocked my seller account with 150 5 star only reviews accusing me of posting a pair of counterfeit Margiela sneakers. I showed proof of authenticity and sent them the receipt as I had bought them on YOOX. Nope, their super quality control team said they weren't authentic. The same quality control team that couldn't do nothing to avoid me from buying two fake Stone Island items that were online from months. And the funny thing is that there are 2 more listing with my SAME shoes, with less pictures than mine and no proof of authenticity, that are still online and up for sale. And the funnier thing is that I was able to upload the shoes on Vestiaire Collective without a problem, and they legit check every upload BEFORE posting it online, unlike Vinted. The support replies are always the same automated "thanks for your understanding" bulls*it. Feels like I've been slapped in the face for no reason and I'm not letting it slide. I guess I'll move over to Vestiaire Collective. Vinted is full of scam accounts but they prefer to get mad with honest 5 star rated sellers.

PS. The last screenshots makes you see how much they care about their sellers: "sorry to let you go" they said.

Do not use

If there is an issue though vinted's terms and conditions state they will help they will not and make a reason why they can't help, even if it breaks there own terms. I recommend staying well clear of this company and if you have issues going to trading standards.

I brought a pair of boots advertised at a size 38. I know the make and i know how this size fits me. Thats why i brought them. They arrived at are a size 36, two sizes too small. I wrote to the seller, she told me the reason she wrote a 38 is because she usually wears a 38 shoe and they for her, I told her I know this make of boot and it its why i brought this size. So she said send them back. But it will cost me 15$ to send them back as the buyer pays the return postage. WHY? Why would the buyer need to pay the postage for somethig wrongly advertised. Vinted do nothing. They are absolutly useless. This is the second time I brought something that was advertised as something it's not. You have no protection. I wont be using it again except to sell the rubbish i brought on there.

I have sold over 100 items, with 50+ 5 star reviews, never had an issue with an item, postage or anything. Until one buyer claims multiple white stains on a brand new, never worn top. I contacted customer support, providing all images I took of the top, with time stamps and postage receipt, including a screenshot of the buyer claiming they threw the top away. Vinted's way of solving this was by giving the buyer a refund and asking them to return the top, which had already been thrown away. I contested this further, not for the £3 the top was sold for, but because the buyer had lied. I buyer even admitted to causing the stains in order to get a £3 refund! I supplied this screen shot to Vinted, who said I need to supply a return address within 48 hours. I again contest this as it was clear the top has been thrown away and the buyer caused the stains, yet I had no response in this time frame, so the buyer had the refund. I asked to speak to a superior, get an email address or phone number multiple times, which I got a rude response and no further development, while my claims for further assistance has been ignored for 70 hours as of now...

THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE! Not only have they allowed a buyer to have a refund after destroying a perfectly good top, but has allowed the buyer to avoid a return, while ignoring clear evidence and all of my requests for further assistance. STAY CLEAR! I will never use or sell on this app again, and I advise everyone else not to!

If a seller sends you the wrong item you have to pay the postage to send it back (despite it being the sellers fault).
If they lose an item you don't get a refund! The customer service is shocking and rude. Avoid avoid avoid

Blocked for no reason

Put up my first sale on Vinted. A pair of childrens trainers. And within minutes was notified that I was blocked because they ASSUMED the nice trainers I was selling were counterfeit! I have proof of their authenticity and was selling them as a loss to myself! I shared this proof with Vinted but after this awful treatment I don't care for their services. This is the worst experience I have had with selling online ever, I usually use EBay and only went to Vinted because I was recommended them by a friend! Won't be continuing with them in future! They can keep my account blocked

I ordered an item and the seller posted through Evri for me to collect at a local store. Tracking said it was ready for collection but it wasn't there. It's still not there 4 weeks later and Vinted tell me I've got to be patient and wait for it to be returned to sender before I get refunded. No idea how long I'm expected to wait. Meanwhile they've got my money and the seller has lost his item. Appalling customer service.

I have been scammed by a seller on Vinted. Instead of two items I bought I was sent two bits of cardboard. The 'joker' thought it would be funny to also include a candy cane! I am not laughing

If you are thinking of buying from Vinted - think very carefully - I recently bought an outfit and was told by the seller she would send Royal Mail free postage - so as Vinted tend to use other deliveries it sounded good to me - I got a pic of the tracking and asked by Vinted if I had a prob with the item - as the item was 'on its way' I waited another day - when I checked the tracking - it had never been sent - the seller had left the site and as it was three days since 'delivery' Vinted said basically tough your loss - I stressed the messages were believeable and they gad signed up this scammer but was told again - sorry but can't help you - I paid buyer protection and felt safe and Vinted are less than useless
Please take caution from my experience if it stops one person - my huge loss will not be completely in vain

I got scammed and vinted never did anything. There a disgrace. Shame on them. I will neve buy again. I told vinted this and they were not bothered about it. Very unprofessional. Hope they go bust. Am putting this on social media so people get aware of vinted
