This site is ANAL! I was referred to the site by a youtuber who said she sells on this site and sold one item recently and so was suggesting the site to viewers, She is a business who sells used clothing for a profit. That said the reason I was blocked the second time was because they assume I am selling commercially. And even if I am trying to sell some slow sellers online, so what. And I did make 3-4 sales and transfer the funds to my bank account and purchased as well. You cannot use your funds you make to buy a product, so you have to always transfer your funds and use your bank account to buy. Kind of dumb.
As I was busy trying to follow people and see what they are selling I see 2/3 of the sellers are in a business to resell and I never reported their listings yet for me I knew and its very apprarent they are in business to make money commercially so if you treat me with a blocked account then Vinted should delete 2/3 of their sellers and see how well this site works...
Such crap, so website like, eBay, Amazon, Poshmark, Mercari or Bonaza do this $#*! to their sellers.
I will not likely sell again because its just so friustrating. It makes one stubborn and MAD as hell.

I got scammed on this web. It was obviously from the beginning, seller didnt ship my item as shipping label didnt tracked. But Vinted customer care made me wait 6 weeks more. To be sure. Then was fight for refund. Which they agreed by words but not by action. And many absolutely stupid things i should provide for customer care just to get at least my refund confirmation number. Because no one can find it. Last request from CC was to provide for them my personal bank statement with all expenses! Just To get refund confirmación. Which they already did but without confirmation, even on their web site. When I provide my confidential bank information, customer service said - pictures are not good.

I bought a Lancôme mascara but when the parcel arrived it was some fake perfume, red I sent a message to Vinted and they answered with automatic message the seller said he was sorry that the parcel was meant for another destination. Then later he started claiming that there were two perfume inside the parcel that if I return it the second perfume must be there. REM the buyer is the one to cater for resending the parcel I got scammed AVOID AT ALL COST…I have attached all the proof of conversation plus what I bought and what I got

Awful. Spent over £40 on orders that I never received. Vinted refuse to help because I missed their tight 48 hour deadline after the orders were marked "delivered" to raise an issue. Hardly fair considering that I did not receive a notification saying the order was delivered and even if I had, I was in hospital so wouldn't have been able to do anything about it in that time anyway.
I have not received the product, I started the investigation as I was told to do in relation to the delivery company and SEUR delivery company, I sent photos, I have witnesses, I signed a sworn document that I had not received, I paid the buyer protection fee, and still they have transferred my money to the seller. I was left without product, without money and still calling me a liar. I use vinted because I have reduced mobility and because I am sustainable, now no more. I will go to the police and report the company to the COTUMER SERVICE PROTECTION for fraud and lack of customer protection.
As a buyer you will be scammed on Vinted and receive the worst customer service ever. Horrible place and very unprofessional. Stay away and go to Depop, Poshmark or any other app besides Vinted. Absolutely terrible experience.
Horrible customer service. I purchased 2 items and went to purchase a third only to find my account was blocked because Vinted suspected me of fraudulent behavior. In the meantime they charged my credit card. I had to prove to them that they charged my card. Despite following their instructions that my account was unblocked. It is not. When I complained I was told only after my second inquiry that I have to wait 24 hours for my account to be unblocked. Bad service, bad practices and really bad way to treat a new customer.
I ordered an I pad while on holiday. A few days after returning I tried it out and found out it won't download any apps. The seller knew this but didn't say in his advert. He said it's because it's old and even accused me of breaking it. No support from vinted at all AVOID. I've lost over £90. The seller had good reviews I checked but now I see the are as a buyer not for selling.
I brought some trainers which seller posted via yodel, the delivery was marked as delivered which they were not. I contacted yodel to see where they were they said they could see by drivers sat nav that the parcel was delivered miles from my home and would make enquires this would take 48hrs. So I told the seller and just waited to hear back from yodel big mistake if you don't click issue with item within 2 days of it stating delivered vinted will not help! Yodel couldn't find parcel and said to contact seller! Basically I was left out of pocket even though I paid for buyer protection! Really not good enough you can't have a selling site that has no protection for buyers. I won't be purchasing on vinted again it's not worth the risk!
Not much more to say, after being mis sold and lied to on an advert on Vinted They have failed to offer any buyer protection and are refusing to help protect my consumer rights in any way.
If Selling - be prepared to have 50% to 100% of your listings deleted for absolutely ficticous reasons (copyright infringement if you take nice pics, duplicates if even one word is the same as another listed item, catalog non-compliance for items very much in compliance).
If you attempt to appeal via starting a Help inquiry - BE PREPARED! They will copy & Paste any of their pre-written responses and send them to you, even if the response doesn't make any sense. The most frustrating is when they stop copy & pasting and start outright lying (we deleted because you used the same photos... my response was to send screenshot I took immediately after listing and it clearly shows 2 different items... their response - oh wait - no we didn't actually delete anything -- see, you just sent us a screenshot that proves your items are still there!)... basically, the help desk folks get a 5 star review for mastering the skills of gaslighting, manipulation, intentionally lying, and telling you as their platform user to just STFU already, this matter is resolved - even though it is not.
Tracking updates are ATROCIOUS... sellers - beware! No clue how they do it - but they also re-use tracking numbers = track your label even before you get it pkg ready to go! And then --- make sure to keep a manual list of outstanding orders because they will NOT update items as delivered = YOU WILL NOT GET PAID when they do this (which is about 6 out of every 20 orders in my experience).
BUYERS - beware! If a seller sends you an item that is not as described - you will be paying retail shipping rates to return the POS you received. Vinted is equally as unhelpful to buyers as they are to sellers.
BOTTOM LINE - I'm 100% convinced this site is operational simply to be a tool for earning Google AdSense revenue -- and any inquiries or help requests submitted are perceived as annoying and disturbing their fun time of making bank on getting us to view pages!
I've had over 40 chats with Vinted in the last 6 months. Only 1 was handled in a professional and logical manner. The remainder were either eh, and as of this week - downright psychologically WTF.
I have been using this site for a year both selling and buying and have had great service. They were extremely fast with response to delivery issues and any inquires and helped solve problems quickly.
I have been selling and buying since Oct 2021 from Alberta Canada.
We are moving soon, I have sold over 300 items. Buyers seem mostly satisfied. My customer base seems to be mostly out of Quebec. I do not know why. It seems odd to me.
I am listing things very, very reasonably, as I am getting closer to move date. I have a few buyers that have been unsatisfied with their low cost purchases and want to return them. Ie. 1.99 purchase with. 99 shipping. Can you imagine the cost of both our our time, the couriers and vinted's. Some shoppers are very unreasonable. Buyers need to read the posting details before buying. A few items have been lost by couriers. Otherwise things are going pretty good.
Outrageous! This site encourages dishonest buyers and you risk losing your branded items because they give reason to thieves and dishonest! They do no professional checks and no support to recover your items if doubts or dissatisfaction.
Absolutely shocking total lack of customer service. I sent 2 parcels at the same time and the courier company labelled them incorrectly.so they went to the wrong people. One buyer suspended the transaction straight away and the other didn't so I received their money. Trying to get any help from Vinted to resolve this was unbelievably hard. They have a script, told me it was my mistake for sending 2 parcels at the same time and I should sort it out in aa friendly way with my buyers. Different people at the customer service desk dealing with it instead of just one person so going round and round. So I will be out of pocket and they don't care.

Answer: Well you can't. You need to do your homework when asking questions to a seller. Request additional pictures too. The seller never has access to your money until you "receive" and accept the items. So if you get a designer item you have questions about take it to your nearest high-end consignment. If you find the item is not real simply let CS know under the accepting. Tell them what the problem is. More likely than not you will get a return request label. Just send it back and all your money if refunded. On Poshmark all items over $500 are automatically sent to a Posh center to be authenticated before its sent to you. The best way to know your getting the real deal is buy from again a local high-end consignment or an online that specializes in only a few brands rather than any. It takes a lot of training to become an expert on authentication.
