I ordered saddlebags using their browse by bike feature. They came and did not fit the bike. They would not pay for return shipping, even though their website states you will receive a return label via email and retain the tracking number and use it for every correspondence with us. Even after calling and stating this argument, they refused to pay return shipping on an exchange.
I love my bags. Kiara was very helpful on helping me choose a set my boyfriend had a couple issues installing them however he got it handled.
Viking Bags provides a solution to a common problem, quality. The function, strength and durability are a testament to the brand. Feel free to put the beating on the product because they are weather resistant and can withstand the impact of an accident, while providing cushion for the rider. I am a motorcycle enthusiast and not always a fan of cargo on bikes. But Viking Bags accommodate most makes and models, without taking away from the aesthetic.
I dig this brand, check out Viking Bags. See you on the road!
I bought a Viking tank pack some years back and had a little bit of problem with it. I spoke with customer service and a very nice young lady named Kiara sent me a new one and followed up with me a month or so later. I was so pleased with the service of Kiara that I ordered saddlebags and have had no trouble. Thanks Viking and thanks Kiara!
I had received many products from vikin cycle through Kiara Wilson and I have not been happier. My trunk, bags, and jacket have stood up to a lot of abuse. I put a lot of miles on each. It's been over a year now and everything is still in amazing shape! Everything looks super clean still.
I would give them a zero if possible for customer service and quality. They sent me an incomplete order (I ordered saddlebags, a trunk and quick disconnect system for the saddlebags). I received support brackets for the saddlebags (saddlebags missing), the trunk, and the quick disconnect system. Both boxes were intact but the saddlebags were missing. There were inconsistencies in the shipping weights of the packages which they refused to consider. I sent pictures but they refused to accept the order was incomplete and pawned it off on UPS. The product I did receive was defective (the passenger backrest on the trunk was defective). It took four weeks to get return authorization. Their management never contacted me despite four requests. When I returned the two items I received (trunk and quick disconnect system in the same box) they said they only received the trunk. Initially they refunded me for the cost of the trunk without the tax I paid. They never refunded me for the quick disconnect system. I personally think they have a thief in their warehouse. They do not value their customers and they do not investigate complaints. These guys are horrible! I would not do business with them. I personally suffered a loss of about $750.00. I filed a complaint with the BBB (who they did not respond to). I am told you can see the complaint on the BBB website for the next 2 years. I would not do business with this company nor would I desecrate either of my beautiful HDs with their products. Ride safe everyone!
Excellent experience with Viking bags! I ordered the wrong size jacket. My customer service rep was Catherine. She was polite and helpful when it came to getting the correct size. Shipping was fast. I recieved and returned then recieved the new jacket all together in 5 days!
I purchased these thinking that they were specifically made for my bike as I didn't want to spend several days messing around with installation. I thought I would screw them into the frame and be done in half hour. It took two days to install these as they came with the wrong hardware so I had to purchase bolts and modify brackets to fit the bike. Buying these you pay extra for the shock cut outs and you loose storage space when in all honest the bags mount so far away from the frame that you don't need the cut outs. I called Viking to share my experiences and express my concerns and found their customer service to be extremely poor. Julio was very rude and didn't even apologize for sending the wrong hardware or acknowledge my issues. How can a company improve their product if they don't care about their customers? Anyway, very disappointing as my bike is my escape and this whole thing makes me feel like I don't even want these bags on my bike. I will never buy anything from Viking again. For this price I expected quality and good customer service.
I wasnt sure about the size of the bag but it works great, the magnets are strong and I have always had very quick responses from their service Dept for everything Ive bought. No other bag has stood up to the kind of riding I do.
I travel constantly and require comfort as well as space in a bag pack. Viking's sissy bar bag pack is ideal for all my needs. Viking Bag's customer service was kind enough to walk me through the buying process and answer any questions that I had. I would recommend this company to all my biker friends!
Wow! Finally a company that doesnt burn a whole in Lynn wallet but still delivers outstanding quality products! I highly recommend!
I had a bunch of questions about fit before I ordered from Viking Bags and Catherine Josephe was very prompt and helpful. The bags are also an amazing deal and high quality. I will definitely order from them again.
This company was a pleasure to work with. All of
My questions were answered and the product was super high quality. Scott Adam made shopping completely painless. Im super happy with my purchase, it met all my needs and expectations. Highly recommend these guys! Ill definitely be using them in the future!
Super easy to use website. I quickly found the section to my bike. I originally wanted saddlebags but decided on a tail bag. The product is more then enough room for what I needed it. It also allows me to carry extra things with me if need be. The shipping was pretty fast, I had my bag up and on the bike within 3 days. They shipped from Ca and im in Northern Nevada. I will continue to pass on the viking name to all my friends!
Great products although a bit pricey. But i'd rather pay a bit more for a quality product than replace a low tier bag every year or so...
I have bought several products through Viking bags, I am extremely happy with all the products I have purchased. I have bought saddle bags for my Yamaha Bolt, handlebar tool bar, a leather vest, and leather jacket. All of the products are very well made. In my dealings with Viking I have worked with Scott Adam with a couple of my purchase. He went above and beyond in helping me, I had one product I needed to exchange for a different size and he made the process very easy.
I had the pleasure of meeting Scott through mutual friends. He is a pleasure work with and the order process was easy. The products he has are nothing less than exceptional. Upon receiving the bags I ordered promptly, I was thrilled with the quality. Well made, sturdy and lots of room for anything and everything. I would highly suggest anyone who is a motorcycle enthusist to order through Viking! 5 STARS!
I purchases saddle bags for my Harley Davidson Iron from Viking Bags last year. I can't say enough good things about this company and the employee that I worked with, Scott Adams.
I purchased the bags that are made for a Sportster to prevent from needing to relocate the turn signals and license plate. The bags are just what I was looking for. They look great on my bike, they are big enough to hold anything that I would need. They are made of a quality leather and have velcro and heavy duty plastic snaps to keep them closed. They also lock and are weather proof. I have had the bags on my bike for a year now and couldn't be happier.
I worked with Scott Adams on my purchase of these bags and since I liked the bags so much I ended up getting a few more bags from Viking. Scott is great to work with and was always available when I had a question about something.
Overall I think Viking Bags is a great company and the products are quality at a reasonable price. I do purchase a lot of accessories for my bike directly from Harley, but I didn't want to spend the $700-$1000 on the saddle bags that I liked and Viking filled the void for me. I would highly recommend you checking them out if you need bags for your bike.
My First experience with VikingBags was when I ordered a new set of saddlebags for my 2001 Shadow VT750 Ace. I had never had a motorcycle before nor have I purchased saddlebags. After a few days of looking around the internet I decided to go with VikingBags because of the price and how the bags looked on my bike. I went ahead and placed the order. The shipping was quick and before I knew it, my new SaddleBags were here. There was a link on the product page that showed an instructional video on how to install the bags. My roommate and I were able to get them installed in a little over an hour. This isn't a review of the bags, but I wanted to emphasize the quality and fit of the bags. They look right at home. Their customer service is wonderful as well. Scott Adam from VikingBags reached out to me just to verify that the bags fit well and that I was satisfied. It's very rare that anybody reaches out to it's customers unprovoked and I can't say how much that meant. I've since bought three leather jackets from them as well and again, couldn't be happier.
I recommend VikingBags to anyone who is curious or looking for great products.
I know in the future that I will turn to VikingBags for my needs.
I received my Ironborn Motorcycle Textile Jacket and Sissy Bar Backpack about a month ago and have been lazy in putting them to use. This morning I removed the liner from the jacket and noticed all the little details; color coded buttons for the liner, padded pocket for sunglasses, labels for all of the pockets! While I don't have a sissy bar, the back pack works just fine as such. Fits my helmet and plenty of room for other items.
Answer: Because I'm a cheap skate. You get what you pay for.
Answer: There is no designed kit for that installation. But its simple to work around. All you need is a longer bolt that can sustain our qds hardware and the sissy bar all together which can be found at their local hardware store
