This is by far the worst ticket company I've ever dealt with. Prices were sky-high (I paid 4x more than through other sellers) and the seats (the zone) was not what I've booked. It's very deceiving seat map. Customer service basically didn't fix anything, didn't even offered to provide better seats, which they could. I spent way too much money and ended up with stress instead of excitement. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from Viagogo. They should not even be allowed to operate. It's legal criminal act!
Hi All
Just wanna share my recent Bad Experience with online ticket platforms like Viagogo/ Stubhub.
I post my tickets for them last Nov 2025 and never got back my money SGD 792 since until now even after mails after mails, calls after calls and promised of 30-45 days of report investigation but never got back to u.
Long story fell short. Beware of such fraudulent websites and they used scoundrel tactics to "dupe" you. Tell your kids too and spread this news.
I have reported to Police but dont think they can do much as this is not local website or company but valuable lessons learnt. Thanks All
I had a terrible experience with viagogo and strongly warn others to avoid this platform.
I purchased tickets for Napoli vs Milan (Order *******), and the tickets I received were issued under a completely different name. Viagogo themselves confirmed that the tickets could NOT be personalized again, which makes them unusable for entry in Italy where ID checks are required.
Despite this, viagogo refused to provide a solution before the event. Instead, they insisted I wait until the event time to "activate the guarantee," which is completely meaningless because by then the match has already started.
I spent over an hour on the phone with their support, where it was confirmed the tickets are invalid. I was then put on hold for more than 20 minutes to speak to a manager — who never even joined the call.
Their customer service is extremely poor, inconsistent, and clearly designed to delay resolution. They admitted the problem but refused to fix it in time.
This is NOT buyer protection. This is leaving customers without tickets and without a real solution.
I am now forced to proceed with a chargeback and escalate further.
Avoid viagogo if you value your money and want certainty when buying tickets.
I purchased tickets for a Serie A match. The tickets were personalized, and unfortunately it was impossible to change the names at the venue. At San Siro, I was informed that this situation happens quite often, which means your company is fully aware of the issue and still does nothing about it.
Just before the event, while I was in Italy, I tried to contact your platform, but the website was not working. I later realized it might have been related to roaming, but in my opinion this is not my responsibility — it is your obligation to ensure customers can contact you without issues, especially in such situations.
After returning home, I filed a complaint four days later, but your company is now claiming that I waited too long to report the issue.
I strongly warn others against purchasing from this platform — you may end up in the same situation as I did. This is not even just about the money, but about the fact that your company is fully aware of scamming people (even the help desk at San Siro confirmed this has been happening for a long time) and does nothing about it.
My son is a huge AC Milan fan. Standing outside the stadium, he ended up in tears because, due to your company's greed, he was not able to enter the stadium.
I've been purchasing and selling tickets on the secondary platform "StubHub" for quite a while. Over the past several months, I have experienced serious and unresolved issues with my StubHub account, including multiple unpaid orders, withheld payouts, and unresolved disputes—despite fulfilling all obligations and providing extensive
Supporting documentation. To make matters worse, my account was suddenly locked without any prior notice. When I contacted support, I was told the decision was final: my account would remain permanently suspended, I would lose access to all funds, and I would be barred from creating any new accounts. I was given no detailed explanation. One support agent vaguely mentioned "multiple buyer complaints" and "issues with sales," but refused to elaborate or provide any specific evidence. When I tried to contact the support team for a detailed explanation, I either received no response at all or was given mutually contradictory explanations: Trust & Safety declined to provide any concrete reason for the suspension despite
Multiple requests.
Executive Customer Care wrote: "We have found that the buyer of one of their transactions is linked to the seller themselves. As a result, we have shut down this account, and it will remain blocked, and payments will not be resumed." I categorically deny this allegation.
Customer Support also claimed: "Your account has been deactivated due to multiple instances of unfulfilled ticket orders associated with your listings.
" As a result, I still do not know the exact reason for the suspension. Furthermore, these accusations are untrue. In reality, nearly every disputed order on my account involved buyer fraud or situations where I followed the rules, yet was penalized anyway. For each such order, I submitted clear documentation to prove my innocence. I have continued to take every reasonable action to resolve the issue. I have spent months calling customer service daily, escalating my case via email to executive management, and filing formal disputes; however, none of these efforts have resulted in a resolution or a meaningful response. To date, over USD 20,000 remains unpaid or wrongfully withheld, including funds from multiple sales, previously promised credits, and amounts deducted to cover penalties that should never have been applied. This entire ordeal has caused significant financial strain, emotional distress, and exhaustion. I've spent countless hours preparing documentation, making international calls, and trying to defend myself through a broken system. I am fully prepared to provide extensive evidence and supporting documentation—including email records, account activity, ticket delivery logs, and customer communications—upon request. My sole goal is to resolve this matter with transparency and recover the compensation I rightfully earned through fulfilled obligations.
Bought a ticket for System of a down. But the ticket had an "electronic problem" so I couldn´t use it. Was promised a refund but they ghosted me after that. Have been trying to get a hold of them ever since but no luck
I paid $54.72 for a parking lot ticket so my husband and I would not have to walk far to a venue we were attending. We are both seniors with mobility issues. We told the attendant what lot we were to go to and they directed us into a parking garage. We didn't have a choice as we told them Lot A and that is where we were directed. Lot A was closer to the venue. I contacted the service the morning after the event and they offered me a $13.26 voucher. I filed a complaint with Paypal. They then contacted me and asked if I would cancel the complaint, they would look further into the matter. I now have 6 emails from them giving me the runaround that they are still looking into the matter. I told them that I needed a refund by October 31,2025, today or I would have to file another complaint. All I got was more run around. It doesn't take that long to process a refund and $54.72 is more than I can afford to pay for parking, but it was for my husband's birthday and he had two operations this year and I wanted to make it easy for him and for me also. We are 75 and 80 years old. Please re-open this case as this vendor is fraudulent in my estimation. In addition, we got stuck in that parking garage after the event for at least 45 minutes to an hour and had to drive home a hour after that. What was supposed to be a birthday present turned into a birthday nightmare.
I am totally dissatisfied about viagogo behavior! Paid around EUR 300 for a tickets which seats costs EUR 70 (2 x EUR35) and in addition they send me "tickets with reduced price", for retired people or students (?!) which costs EUR 25 each (i. E. EUR 50). So it seems for this company 400% profit is small and they increase their profit to 600%!
NEVER USE SERVICES OF viagogo.com!!!
Avoid at all costs!
Very high fees and no guarantee you will actually receive the ticket you paid for.
It is a resale site which will charge you 2-10x the original ticket price &then you will not know if you will actually receive the ticket until a few hours before the event begins.
For example after paying almost £1000 for international rugby tickets I am advised that it is not until 13:40 on the day of the game (which kicks off at 16:40) whether or not I will actually receive the tickets I have paid for. Viagogo claim this is because some tickets are not released until the day of the event, however that is not the case for international rugby matches. Despite advising them of this they refuse to contact the seller to request the tickets are transferred to me and they refuse to provide me with the seller contact information so that I can make this request myself. Instead Viagogo advise their terms and conditions give sellers until the day of the game to release the tickets to you and so they will not do anything to assist.
If you do not receive your tickets they apparently provide a refund but that is not much use if you have already paid for accommodation and travel. Not to mention the uncertainty you have to deal with until the last minute for such a large event.
This process is not made clear when you purchase your tickets and the customer service could not be less helpful. They just send you the same preprepared statement in response over and over and refuse to actually engage with you.
No matter how much you want the tickets it's just not worth it!
It was terrible. I bought the ticket, everything is OK. The order number ******* was received by me on time, but due to the fact that I was not given a visa, I decided to resell the ticket. I did everything according to the instructions on the website, the ad was put up for sale, but I decided to change the price, changed the price and that's it! Silence! There are no ads, no email, nothing, two weeks before the event and the probability that I can sell it is getting lower, by the way, the ticket cost 250 euros! I'm writing in the background... they offer me EVERYTHING: to change the payment method, to change the phone, to place the ad myself, they even wrote that I should place it for 110 euros, although I bought it for 250, and then I put it up for 300 and everything was OK! And NO ONE, I repeat, NO ONE could explain to me the reason why the ad was not displayed on the site, NO ONE could answer, Each of the operators offered things that were not relevant at all in order to simply work out phrases according to the algorithm, TO STALL for TIME. It was just a moral mockery, I've been involved since I was 10! Saportami and everyone stupidly merges you. Only one person was able to answer the reason, and ONLY then did I receive an email explaining what had happened. I'm crying, it's a waste of time, they ask me to wait another 3 days, I talked to their colleagues for an hour, and each time I had to explain what was the matter. THIS IS THE WORST SUPPORT. She's just draining you.they were just stalling for time, and now they wrote in the letter that they need to wait 3 days, AND WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING THESE 5 DAYS? Did you ask me to clear my cache?
I am writing this review based on a fully documented experience as a seller.
I sold 2 tickets for the Tame Impala concert in Frankfurt on 30 April 2026 through Viagogo (Order #*******).
Here is what happened:
29 April 2026: I successfully transferred both tickets to the buyer through the official EVENTIM application, before the concert.
I have screenshots proving the EVENTIM transfer.
I contacted the buyer directly via WhatsApp, and the buyer confirmed receiving the tickets.
I also have evidence showing that the buyer used the tickets to enter the concert.
Viagogo's system accepted my uploaded QR-code images without displaying any warning or error indicating that I was using the wrong delivery method.
30 April 2026, after the concert had already started: Viagogo cancelled my sale.
Initially, Viagogo claimed that I had fulfilled the order with an "invalid e-ticket." After I challenged this and provided evidence, their explanation changed: they stated that the tickets were mobile-transfer tickets and that I should have listed them using the mobile-transfer delivery method.
This is an important distinction: the tickets were not fake or undelivered. They were transferred through the official EVENTIM application, received by the buyer, and used to enter the event.
I have already provided Viagogo with the EVENTIM transfer records, WhatsApp correspondence, buyer confirmation and other relevant evidence. The buyer also contacted Viagogo directly regarding the same issue.
Despite all of this evidence, Viagogo continues to withhold my payment.
I am not asking for an explanation. I am asking Viagogo to release the payment for the tickets I successfully transferred and delivered to the buyer.
I will not simply let this matter go. If Viagogo continues to withhold my payment, I will pursue the matter through the appropriate consumer protection and legal channels and seek recovery of my financial losses where applicable.
I expect Viagogo to release the payment owed to me and resolve this matter accordingly.
I am writing this as a severe warning. Viagogo is utterly disorganized, their system policies are shady, and their customer service is practically nonexistent. On August 31st, I purchased 2 tickets for €80 for the George Dalaras concert in Athens (Sept 24th). Due to an accidental click by my child, the tickets were mistakenly listed for sale. I acted immediately, contacted support on Sept 6th, and followed their instructions to delete the listing. I received a written guarantee stating: "Your seatings ARE SECURED, do not worry."During that exchange on Sept 6th, I noticed my tickets had no seat numbers, even though the official ticket provider (More.com) clearly showed the event had numbered seating. When I questioned Viagogo about this, their customer service explicitly lied to me in writing, claiming the event was on a "first-come, first-served basis" and told me to just arrive 45 minutes early. On September 20th—just 4 days before the concert—I was blindsided by an email stating my tickets had been reactivated and sold on September 19th for €50.Viagogo explicitly admitted their system failure to me in writing:"We confirmed that instructions to delete/deactivate the listing were provided on 6 September 2026 under LID *******6679. However, the listing remained inactive rather than being fully removed, and it was subsequently reactivated by the system on 19 September 2026, at which point it was sold."Viagogo admits I did everything right. Yet, because of their technical glitch, their system unilaterally sold my tickets under value, left me with a €30 financial loss, and gave away my seats to a late buyer 5 days before the event without my consent. Their only response to this disaster is a copy-pasted: "We appreciate your understanding."They completely ruined a major event I planned a month in advance, provided misleading information about the seating structure, and stole my property. Avoid Viagogo at all costs and only buy from official, legitimate vendors like More.com. Date of experience: September 20,2026

On March 30, I purchased a ticket for the Olympiakos–Panathinaikos match through Viagogo. I was not allowed to enter the stadium. I contacted their agents before the match, and they confirmed I was in the right and would be refunded. Five months later, despite repeated follow-ups, all I hear is that they are 'reviewing' my case, with no resolution and no proper response. Their so-called 100% guarantee means nothing in practice. Be very cautious when buying tickets from them.
With so many laws existing how is this company even in existence? Pure money scamming company. I have never been refunded my money which is quite a significant amount. Have written to the CEO 4 times both professional and personal email never ever answered
I don't trust viagogo. I bought tickets in October 2024 on viagogo for a concert in August 2025. I don't have the tickets in any of my email accounts, wallet, ticket master account or hands. When I try to download the tickets it says the tickets have been downloaded by another email address. I contacted Viagogo and they will not confirm if the tickets were sent to my email and I don't have the tickets. Not helpful. I'm out $350 and not going to the concert bc I don't have any tickets. I thought I was buying tickets in a legit ticket site. I don't go to concerts a lot and may not go to another one given the hassle factor. I would advise anyone not to use viagogo if you really want to get your tickets and you don't have money to waste.
I want my disappointment to reach you so you truly understand what you're doing to people who place their trust, dreams, and hard-earned money in your hands. A year ago, I trusted you. I invited my Brazilian friend and family to join me in Miami to attend the Coldplay concert. I bought what I believed was the best possible spot to give them a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I even shared the ticket link with other friends so we could all sit together and enjoy the concert of our dreams. Just three hours before the show, Viagogo informed me that none of our tickets had been confirmed. I was given only four replacement options or the choice to request a refund.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER I brought 3tickets($388) UB40 feat.Ali Campbell birthday present for my mom. Once at the gates they told me they cannot find my tikets searching by order nb., email or my name. I tried to contact viagogo 5 times where the robot kept hanging on. So my mom flew for this concert to London and missed the whole thing because of the website error and after all this I was offered a $90 voucher to use on their website in one day. NEVER USE VIAGOGO IF YOU WANNA GET INTO THE CONCERT YOU PAYED FOR
Answer:My tickets were real but I was scared the person whose name was on the ticket would turn up with id. A R600 ticket the price on the ticket which we were not told ended up being twice that. Would I use them again? NO
Answer:For is it was a total con. They showed prices in HK dollars and then charged in US dollars. We paid $4000 US dollars for two Madonna tickets. There's literally no phone number on their site and it's impossible to get in touch with customer service.
Don't buy tickets here. You'll be sorry. They even charged us $500 for a service fee. Really insane!
Answer:Hi Bryan!
Viagogo is a ticket marketplace that allows individuals to buy and sell tickets for live events.
Once you purchase with viagogo you are covered by our guarantee: http://www.viagogo.co.uk/landingpage/1044610
Kind regards,
Ana
Answer:No they don't. I will never ever make any purchase frm viagogo and I will warn you not to. They deducted my money from my back without my acknowledgement in Dec and guess what, I received the same email frm them that they will be deducting the amount from my bank again due to me not able to produce the ticket.
My reason is that event organiser close down my seating section.
Ended up have to go thru my bank to get the money back from them. They are the worst.
Answer:If in doubt, always try and pay by credit card so have a certain amount of protection/insurance.
There's a lot of fraudulent ticket sales going on all over at the moment, so do your homework, read reviews and always use a secure method of payment if you decide to proceed.
