This is by far the worst ticket company I've ever dealt with. Prices were sky-high (I paid 4x more than through other sellers) and the seats (the zone) was not what I've booked. It's very deceiving seat map. Customer service basically didn't fix anything, didn't even offered to provide better seats, which they could. I spent way too much money and ended up with stress instead of excitement. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from Viagogo. They should not even be allowed to operate. It's legal criminal act!

Hi All Just wanna share my recent Bad Experience with online ticket platforms like Viagogo/ Stubhub. I post my tickets for them last Nov 2025 and never got back my money SGD 792 since until now even after mails after mails, calls after calls and promised of 30-45 days of report investigation but never got back to u. Long story fell short. Beware of such fraudulent websites and they used scoundrel tactics to "dupe" you. Tell your kids too and spread this news. I have reported to Police but dont think they can do much as this is not local website or company but valuable lessons learnt. Thanks All

I had a terrible experience with viagogo and strongly warn others to avoid this platform. I purchased tickets for Napoli vs Milan (Order *******), and the tickets I received were issued under a completely different name. Viagogo themselves confirmed that the tickets could NOT be personalized again, which makes them unusable for entry in Italy where ID checks are required. Despite this, viagogo refused to provide a solution before the event. Instead, they insisted I wait until the event time to "activate the guarantee," which is completely meaningless because by then the match has already started. I spent over an hour on the phone with their support, where it was confirmed the tickets are invalid. I was then put on hold for more than 20 minutes to speak to a manager — who never even joined the call. Their customer service is extremely poor, inconsistent, and clearly designed to delay resolution. They admitted the problem but refused to fix it in time. This is NOT buyer protection. This is leaving customers without tickets and without a real solution. I am now forced to proceed with a chargeback and escalate further. Avoid viagogo if you value your money and want certainty when buying tickets.

I purchased tickets for a Serie A match. The tickets were personalized, and unfortunately it was impossible to change the names at the venue. At San Siro, I was informed that this situation happens quite often, which means your company is fully aware of the issue and still does nothing about it. Just before the event, while I was in Italy, I tried to contact your platform, but the website was not working. I later realized it might have been related to roaming, but in my opinion this is not my responsibility — it is your obligation to ensure customers can contact you without issues, especially in such situations. After returning home, I filed a complaint four days later, but your company is now claiming that I waited too long to report the issue. I strongly warn others against purchasing from this platform — you may end up in the same situation as I did. This is not even just about the money, but about the fact that your company is fully aware of scamming people (even the help desk at San Siro confirmed this has been happening for a long time) and does nothing about it. My son is a huge AC Milan fan. Standing outside the stadium, he ended up in tears because, due to your company's greed, he was not able to enter the stadium.

I've been purchasing and selling tickets on the secondary platform "StubHub" for quite a while. Over the past several months, I have experienced serious and unresolved issues with my StubHub account, including multiple unpaid orders, withheld payouts, and unresolved disputes—despite fulfilling all obligations and providing extensive Supporting documentation. To make matters worse, my account was suddenly locked without any prior notice. When I contacted support, I was told the decision was final: my account would remain permanently suspended, I would lose access to all funds, and I would be barred from creating any new accounts. I was given no detailed explanation. One support agent vaguely mentioned "multiple buyer complaints" and "issues with sales," but refused to elaborate or provide any specific evidence. When I tried to contact the support team for a detailed explanation, I either received no response at all or was given mutually contradictory explanations: Trust & Safety declined to provide any concrete reason for the suspension despite Multiple requests. Executive Customer Care wrote: "We have found that the buyer of one of their transactions is linked to the seller themselves. As a result, we have shut down this account, and it will remain blocked, and payments will not be resumed." I categorically deny this allegation. Customer Support also claimed: "Your account has been deactivated due to multiple instances of unfulfilled ticket orders associated with your listings. " As a result, I still do not know the exact reason for the suspension. Furthermore, these accusations are untrue. In reality, nearly every disputed order on my account involved buyer fraud or situations where I followed the rules, yet was penalized anyway. For each such order, I submitted clear documentation to prove my innocence. I have continued to take every reasonable action to resolve the issue. I have spent months calling customer service daily, escalating my case via email to executive management, and filing formal disputes; however, none of these efforts have resulted in a resolution or a meaningful response. To date, over USD 20,000 remains unpaid or wrongfully withheld, including funds from multiple sales, previously promised credits, and amounts deducted to cover penalties that should never have been applied. This entire ordeal has caused significant financial strain, emotional distress, and exhaustion. I've spent countless hours preparing documentation, making international calls, and trying to defend myself through a broken system. I am fully prepared to provide extensive evidence and supporting documentation—including email records, account activity, ticket delivery logs, and customer communications—upon request. My sole goal is to resolve this matter with transparency and recover the compensation I rightfully earned through fulfilled obligations.

Bought a ticket for System of a down. But the ticket had an "electronic problem" so I couldn´t use it. Was promised a refund but they ghosted me after that. Have been trying to get a hold of them ever since but no luck

I paid $54.72 for a parking lot ticket so my husband and I would not have to walk far to a venue we were attending. We are both seniors with mobility issues. We told the attendant what lot we were to go to and they directed us into a parking garage. We didn't have a choice as we told them Lot A and that is where we were directed. Lot A was closer to the venue. I contacted the service the morning after the event and they offered me a $13.26 voucher. I filed a complaint with Paypal. They then contacted me and asked if I would cancel the complaint, they would look further into the matter. I now have 6 emails from them giving me the runaround that they are still looking into the matter. I told them that I needed a refund by October 31,2025, today or I would have to file another complaint. All I got was more run around. It doesn't take that long to process a refund and $54.72 is more than I can afford to pay for parking, but it was for my husband's birthday and he had two operations this year and I wanted to make it easy for him and for me also. We are 75 and 80 years old. Please re-open this case as this vendor is fraudulent in my estimation. In addition, we got stuck in that parking garage after the event for at least 45 minutes to an hour and had to drive home a hour after that. What was supposed to be a birthday present turned into a birthday nightmare.

I am totally dissatisfied about viagogo behavior! Paid around EUR 300 for a tickets which seats costs EUR 70 (2 x EUR35) and in addition they send me "tickets with reduced price", for retired people or students (?!) which costs EUR 25 each (i. E. EUR 50). So it seems for this company 400% profit is small and they increase their profit to 600%! NEVER USE SERVICES OF viagogo.com!!!

Avoid at all costs! Very high fees and no guarantee you will actually receive the ticket you paid for. It is a resale site which will charge you 2-10x the original ticket price &then you will not know if you will actually receive the ticket until a few hours before the event begins. For example after paying almost £1000 for international rugby tickets I am advised that it is not until 13:40 on the day of the game (which kicks off at 16:40) whether or not I will actually receive the tickets I have paid for. Viagogo claim this is because some tickets are not released until the day of the event, however that is not the case for international rugby matches. Despite advising them of this they refuse to contact the seller to request the tickets are transferred to me and they refuse to provide me with the seller contact information so that I can make this request myself. Instead Viagogo advise their terms and conditions give sellers until the day of the game to release the tickets to you and so they will not do anything to assist. If you do not receive your tickets they apparently provide a refund but that is not much use if you have already paid for accommodation and travel. Not to mention the uncertainty you have to deal with until the last minute for such a large event. This process is not made clear when you purchase your tickets and the customer service could not be less helpful. They just send you the same preprepared statement in response over and over and refuse to actually engage with you. No matter how much you want the tickets it's just not worth it!

It was terrible. I bought the ticket, everything is OK. The order number ******* was received by me on time, but due to the fact that I was not given a visa, I decided to resell the ticket. I did everything according to the instructions on the website, the ad was put up for sale, but I decided to change the price, changed the price and that's it! Silence! There are no ads, no email, nothing, two weeks before the event and the probability that I can sell it is getting lower, by the way, the ticket cost 250 euros! I'm writing in the background... they offer me EVERYTHING: to change the payment method, to change the phone, to place the ad myself, they even wrote that I should place it for 110 euros, although I bought it for 250, and then I put it up for 300 and everything was OK! And NO ONE, I repeat, NO ONE could explain to me the reason why the ad was not displayed on the site, NO ONE could answer, Each of the operators offered things that were not relevant at all in order to simply work out phrases according to the algorithm, TO STALL for TIME. It was just a moral mockery, I've been involved since I was 10! Saportami and everyone stupidly merges you. Only one person was able to answer the reason, and ONLY then did I receive an email explaining what had happened. I'm crying, it's a waste of time, they ask me to wait another 3 days, I talked to their colleagues for an hour, and each time I had to explain what was the matter. THIS IS THE WORST SUPPORT. She's just draining you.they were just stalling for time, and now they wrote in the letter that they need to wait 3 days, AND WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING THESE 5 DAYS? Did you ask me to clear my cache?

I was attempting to look for tickets for the Kirstenbosch Garden Concert in January. Viagogo popped up as a ticket supplier, and while I was filling out my details, I had completed entering my credit card information. Once the drop down boxes were populated, I was charged completely, and before I knew it, my purchase was complete. It was only AFTER the sale that I noted a "service charge" almost equal to the price of the tickets, which were more than twice the price of other providers. Then I was unable to contact Viagogo - THERE IS NO EMAIL! THERE IS NO PHONE NUMBER. I contacted VISA to cancel my sale. In South Africa, the Consumer Protection Act guarantees the full refund, particularly when requested thirty seconds after an payment not authorized by the buyer was processed.
VIAGOGO has been caught in fraudulant activity in the UK. Buyer beware, STAY AWAY FROM THESE FRAUDSTERS

DO NOT buy from Viagogo! I had purchased 5 tickets for the Disney on ice event and found out I actually needed 6. They told me to purchase 6 and place the 5 for resale. I did that 3 days before the event but they removed it from the list stating they would not be able to get the e-ticket to the purchaser on time. WTH!

If only I had know what viagogo is!
November 16, 2018

I'm a pensioner wanting to take my grandkids to a gospel concert. I somehow found myself on their site - time was running out to buy the last tickets - it said - telling me there were only 10 left. I shelled out almost £500 thinking that at least I'd managed to get in in time - though concerned about how much I'd spent. Turns out there are still dozens of tickets left - at only £30 each. Having contacted them they pointed out the small print on the site. Yes it's there. In SMALL PRINT! I now can't afford anything else for them at Christmas and am absolutely heartbroken at the total con. And of course now wondering if the tickets will actually arrive for the concert, having read other reviews. What a mess. What a con.

Paid 463,74 for tickets worth 189,66
November 16, 2018

I bought online with Viagogo 3 tickets for a concert of Tribalistas (Marisa Monte) in Brussels on 6 November 2018. Viagogo charged me 463,74, whereas the tickets that I received had an indicated price of 63,22 each, making a sum of 189,66 for all the three tickets. Meaning that I paid 463,74 for tickets worth 189,66.

I am not going to express my feelings, nor to judge. Do it yourself with the facts exposed here.

Scammer stay away SCAM THEFT AVOID
November 13, 2018

This company play on your emotions. You want to get tickets for your loved ones but they inflate the ticket price so much with their charges so that you will pay an arm and a leg and possibly another arm just to get them. This is easily done in the heat of the moment as they will flash up on the screen that 345 people are looking for these tickets and only 3% remain! (A lie I think AS IT IS ON THERE ALL THE TIME). You can easily pay £250 for a ticket with a face value of £30 -£60. Please avoid, stay away and put an end to this legal form of theft! Half the time you won't even get your tickets or know where your seats are. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! SCAM!

Don't Do It
November 12, 2018

I will give you the abbreviated version. I purchased tickets for my son that were sold out elsewhere. I read the Viagogo reviews but thought I might get lucky. Beyond that, I really wanted the tickets. Unfortunately, as the concert date came closer, still no tickets. Customer service is there basically just to reassure and pacify. They can do nothing as the tickets are allowed to arrive ANY TIME prior to the concert and are sent via the original purchaser. In my case, I never received the supposed email for FEDEX delivery which would have required me to be available to sign for the ticket. Anyway, I called and emailed and emailed and called. As of Friday, still no ticket for a Saturday show. They were still trying to get me a ticket by Saturday morning for the show which began at 10 am. I told them this was unacceptable as I was leaving much earlier with friends to get to the venue. Finally, they agreed that I am to receive a refund because there was no way they could get the ticket here. I have purchased many tickets in my time from different sources and have never had such an aggravating experience. Luckily I was able to find a last minute ticket as a fluke. Otherwise, this would have been a total disaster despite paying way too much money and having to worry for weeks. Don't do it to yourself. It is outrageous and I wonder how Viagogo remains in business.

Scam / not honest / theft
November 10, 2018

They basically stole AUD$250 from me. I wanted to go to the elrow festival and get re-directed to viagogo website, were the tickets were listed at AUD$250. I purchased it thinking it was the actual price. But on the ticket I received by email the date and location were wrong. I thought I accidentally purchased the wrong ticket and immediately purchased the right ticket on an other website for AUD$90.

Then, I realised the first ticket I purchased AUD$250 was for a Non-existent event.

I asked Viagogo a refund, they refused it.

Arguing they would change the date and location on my ticket. So I just paid AUD$340 for an event which cost AUD$90.

Great, isn't it?

Scandalously disappointing
November 8, 2018

Travelled to Istanbul for a week. Was frothing to see an Europa league game at one of the cities vibrating stadiums. Bought tickets for Fenerbahce Anderlecht, 3 weeks in advance. The tickets got only available for download 1 day before the event and were not usable as the file was cropped and unreadable. I then contacted the customer support, who informs me that I have to pay and apply for a passolig (Turkish stadium access card), which I never got informed of previously. (Please note that when you buy tickets on viagogo, your time is limited, you have 10 minutes to proceed the long and unorganised process to get your tickets, so don't expect to have time to read all the details of your purchase). Then contacted the customer support as I still didn't have my tickets on the game day. They told me I'd have to pick them with my passolig at the stadiums box office. Got to the stadium. Didn't get the tickets, didn't get the pass, didn't see the game. This lack of seriousness is unacceptable. Customers can't be stitched up that horribly. This is a big abuse.

Sorry to here about the bad experiences but I went to see Drake and Migos on November 6 and we bought our tickets about 5 days before the show. The one thing that sucked with this site tho was the booking charge but it was totally worth it. I was pretty scared after reading the reviews but I had THE BEST EXPERIENCE. The seats were exactly what we paid for and it was super easy to order from the site. 100% will use Viagogo again!

Deceptive practices
November 6, 2018

This site will knowingly deceive and won't stand behind their own guarantee when called on it. Time to shut these guys down. They knowingly sold me tickets advertised for 7pm and then added a note to the courier pouch that they were for 1 am. No notice to let me decide if I wanted to attend a 1pm show instead. Missed the show, no refund. Disrespectful people that have no morals or business acumen.

November 2, 2018

(still one star, as it was annoying and anxiety provoking - tickets worked but its a very $#*!ty buying experience!) they all about 10 steps to the process to make you desperate (faking the tickets are selling out when i KNOW half the concert hall is empty on the main ticket site) - and then all i got was a scan of a paper ticket issued by starticket.ch (for concert i zurich, Switzerland) - no original barcode - could easily be a resold ticket,
ALSO listed the price as chf 45, but with fees, its chf 65. Rip off, scam and all they want to do is spam you

THE worst ticket company EVER!
October 31, 2018

THE worst ticket company EVER. We purchased a pair of BabyMetal Japan concert tickets for $1100. ViaGogo rated these seat location as an "8" out of 10. The only thing close to 8 was the number of rows I was from top of the stadium roof... in the nosebleed section! I wish I could post a photo here because it would make your stomach turn. Tried getting a hold of ViaGogo thru their "support" center, but there's no direct email - pretty much just an FAQ and their phone is useless. This company is not only deceptive but has extremely poor customer service.

We chose ViaGogo for the positive reviews we found but we obviously did not look at Trustpilot otherwise we wouldn't have purchased. Although we enjoyed the concert, we don't feel we received the quality seating we paid for. We guessed maybe 3/4 of the way closer to the stage.

Today, I received an email from ViaGogo asking to send a picture taken from our seats! Obviously they have no clue that crap seats they sold us.
