I have never met so incompetent and unhelpful people as those employed at the London Goswell Road office. With zero customer service skills and a joyful pleasure in making your day miserable, the whole setup sucks, and the, management are no different when you complain.
Be prepared to spend hours there (appoint times don't mean anything to them) and then get your application rejected because you missed the dot on the 'i'!
VFS TOOK DOUBLE COURIER FEES FROM ME ANF REFUSED TO REFUND ME MY MONEY, INSTEAD THEY KEEP ASKING FOR IRRELEVANT THINGS/INFORMATION THAT THEY ALREADY HAVE. PLEASE NIGERIA HIGH COMMISSION, OTTAWA STOP USING THEM AS THEY ARE SCAM IN PROFESSIONAL UNIFORM. I NEED MY COURIER FEE REFUND BACK TO ME ASAP.
They get back saying that the passport photo submitted is not clear. Strangely, the exact same photo was submitted to the US Passport services and I got my US Passport with no issues at all! And the Customer Service doesn't know English I suppose. They respond as though they have not understood a simple English complaint! ALL THIS COMPANY WANTS IS TO LOOT PEOPLE'S MONEY!
None of the staff seem to know what they're doing and I think this is extremely irresponsible as you need to trust them with your most precious documents. I handed in my docs, paid for updates via text messages (received none), was notified by the embassy that my residence permit got granted, but no one knows how I should collect my docs and when I should expect them. This is insane!
We submitted cancellation of Indian passport on November 8 till now we didn't get any response from them. Every week I'm calling to get information no further process. We don't know for cancellation passport they taken so much time very disappointed

How ANY government have given this bunch of clowns the authority to do Passport Renewals and rip people off, support corruption...

I ADVISE EVERYONE TO STEER CLEAR OF VFS.
It is unbelievable that you pay a significant cost to consider your application and receive service at VAC but the staff are NOT friendly or polite and my experience was terrible. The staff does not respect your time and after finishing bio metrics you feel you are free.
Very disappointed as usual (expected); they have mentioned their contact no. But you won't get an option to select misc. Services (for belgium press 1, for italy press 2 etc etc... all the options you hear is for Visas for different countries; while pressing any of these numbers they tell you can't help you since you have not contacted the correct dept nor can raise this issue to their higher ups; I know I am wasting my time writing this review as they never will see this. On top you can't book any of their Australian centers online through their website. Such a pain!
VFS Global: I am not even able to sign-in. It asks me to click activation link in my email. And I do that, it takes back to login page and again asks me to activate my email. This SUCKS. And you call customer service, they ask you to clear cache. God!
This company is run by foreigners and they are scamming/ripping off innocent customers. Unbelievable that the Austrian embassy in the USA has hired this company to process visa applications. The service reps are soo pathetic. I have been calling them past 7 days to withdraw my application. Even though it's an emergency they don't care about returning my documents. They gave the Same $#*!ty answer every time i called them. Inspite of having such a bad review I'm really not sure why the govt are handing over contracts to money breaches. Such a insensible company who never care about customer.
Kept our kids passport rewenal on hold and not processing their applications asking to provide a new birth certificate where they already provided the copy of original.
Website is a $#*!show. On top of that their Customer Service is the worst service ever. They act like they don't care at all. VFSglobal customer support via e-mail, phone or twitter is absolutely useless. Numerous complaints from other users exist on *******@vfsglobal about the same issue...
INSTEAD OF VFS SOLVING THEIR WEBSITE ISSUES THEY ASK USERS TO REREGISTER, FILE A NEW APPLICATION AND PAY THE APPLICATION FEE AGAIN.
I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A DIFFICULT AND NON-USER FRIENDLY WEBSITE. YOU CAN ASK ANY INDIAN AND THEY WILL HAVE THIS OPINION. VERY DIFFICULT, CONFUSING, AND LENGTHY PROCESS NO MATTER WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO DO. WITH THE LARGE NO. OF SOFTWARE ENGINEERS FROM INDIA, WHOMEVER IS IN CHARGE OF THIS HAS MADE PEOPLE LIVES DIFFICULT.
MY BIOMETRICS DID NOT GO THROUGH BECAUSE OF THEM AND I LOST MY POST STUDY WORK RIGHTS. This has costed me my university life.
The VFS customer service sucks. The phone charges $2.48 per minute is looting. OCI application rejected by consulate, Atlanta due to human error doesn't refund back the money. VFS doesn't know their work nor they're trained. Pathetic service.
VFS Global has commission agents near to their office who charges 50 dollars just to submit your documents to the counter which as a customer you cant do... shame on VFS Global for managing comission agents... when i wanted to complain about this there was noone available as usual... well if you want commissions plus your fees please mention that on your website so people know that they have agents available for for services they charge
I am a US citizen and VFS lost my passport after it was processed by the French Consulate in Washington DC, after I applied for a long stay visitor visa. I went through VFS Houston. My flight is in 1 day and no one can tell me where my passport is, where it stopped being tracked, if it was ever even given to the courier service (which was the last notification I received from VFS before my passport seemingly disappeared). I paid for overnight courier delivery and was notified almost 4 days ago that it was handed off to FedEx, but FedEx says they never received it. I will now likely be missing the holidays and I have to try and obtain an appointment for a new emergency passport (the soonest one is in 10 days if I am lucky) to try and at least get a new passport. I will have to start the Visa process all over from the beginning. Honest to God the worst experience I've ever had with any business in my life. I have contacted them via email 6 times and via phone 4 times but you can't actually talk to anyone who works in a VFS office so the people who answer are unable to assist. Thank you to VFS for costing me thousands of dollars, missed time with my family, and days of my life dealing with your absolute incompetency. I truly have absolutely no idea how any government agency trusts this company to handle their processes.
My experience on applying for visa been terrible. I had an urgent matter and waited a long time until I saw an available appointment. After some time there was finally one available time, I tried to book it and an error message came up. I was redoing it several times still it didnt work. I have contacted the company several times without any response, terrible service. This was almost 2 months ago ever since then I been logging in everyday to see if theres any available appointments and finally today there was 2 available appointment to book. I tried booking today several times without any success. Error message once again came up. I tied to book so many times until the available appointment disappeared, it got fully booked. The error messages that keep coming up on your website is something you have to fix. The company don't care for people who really have an urgent matter. They are not there to help or assist you when a problem comes up on the website.
Any time you browse this to book appointments, gives very hard time. 100+ time I got error while adding an Applicant. They should have hire experienced developers.
