I found the constant harassment to reduce the price of items annoying & stressful. If an accepted offer did not get taken up, Vestiare immediately recommended a reduction, obviously any buyer knows this & will wait for the seller to reduce & try again! I am not desperate for money but wanted to sell items I know longer wear but am not giving them away. I also found the buyers difficult & many quite rude.

You have to be really cautious when buying designer items online. I have so far purchased five handbags from Vestiaire, one of which has proven to be fake. There have been quite a few items that have very poor photographs, so there's no way that they can be verified as authentic. My advice is to know your designers, know your items and don't make any rash purchases. Of my genuine purchases, the items have been condition as described, well packaged, promptly posted and I have been able to click and collect at reasonable cost. The only downside to ordering items from outwith UK is the cost of postage, which means I only order from UK, which in turn, limits choices. Any queries I have had to make to Vestiaire (like two 'separate' sellers selling the exact same item at different prices) have not been resolved. Customer service is non-existent. So, buyer beware.
I have returned a saint Laurent top with an obvious sewing mark but vestiaire refused to accept the return claiming that it was a storage mark. They even relisted the item on my account with commission fee without asking me so if this item ever gets sold I will receive less money that I paid for a default item. I'm now worried about other items I bought through this website
The seller never responded to my messages. Shoes were never posted. Waste of time with that person. Maybe accounts like that should be blocked or deactivated to avoid the stress for other people that they lost their money.

Not as expected and disappointed - the packaging by Vestiaire was not meeting the standard. The bag i purchased was left in the box unprotected and out of dust bag!

The shoes arrived in a reasonable timeframe and they were exactly as the listing described – but they broke apart after ten days.
Found the boots I was searching for. Great price. Very upfront shipping and duties payments. No surprises! Boots shipped very quickly from England to the US and they came in great condition. I do wish they had been in a dust bag as they are suede and were rubbing on the shipping box a bit.
