Service blows
March 7, 2021

What happened? From Flagship to Big Lots.
What a shame. When I get somebody I try to tell them I don't speak Farsi.

I've paid over 12k to this company in 2.5 years... paid off my iPad,... second phone and hum device over a year ago and canceled these services... yet they continued to charge me as if the devices were still active... call after call to customer no service they continued to charge up bill... every person in this company will give a different answer to the same question... fictional charges which they can't explain keep riding the bills sky high along with the fact every time I would visit my local store different faces and names would try to assist me... which means they can't keep employees with very high turnover... buyer beware on this business and enter at your own risk.,, you will be jacked at cell point...

Beware!
March 1, 2021

If you decide to leave them for your home internet, cable and home phone, this one these two things will happen. They billed for two months of service after the equipment was returned to them, although we had no more service from them, by then we were using another provider. Also they will charge you for equipment, saying you had not returned it. Showed receipt for return and they removed the charge only to put it back several more times. This was done to several of my friends and family also...

STEALING FROM CUSTOMERS
February 19, 2021

They force you to download their app and do THEIR JOB, otherwise you could hold on the phone for hours and get hung up on before speaking to anyone. After doing THEIR JOB ONLINE I cancelled high-speed Internet and they SAID because I didn't respond to THEIR EMAIL, they had to CONTINUE CHARGING ME FOR HIGH-SPEED INTERNET EVEN AFTER SENDING THEM THEIR TOWER BACK THAT I WAS USING FOR THIS PURPOSE! THAT IS STEALING FROM YOUR CUSTOMER! THEY CAN SEE ON THEIR END I WAS NO LONGER USING HIGH-SPEED INTERNET SO WHY WOULD THEY CHARGE ME FOR IT ESPECIALLY AFTER I CANCELLED IT? STEALING!

Service is garbage
February 12, 2021

Quality is getting very less. Cable fade in and out on signals with updated Fios setup boxes. Its annoying tv fios mini reset box message pop up many times every 5 minutes, while TV show is on. Cable signals are trash that I had to turn off the tv. I had a hard time watch Tv shows. Service is trash the moment fios updated to worthless mini cable boxes with problems. Reset box does nothing. I'm done with cable altogether. I had to turn off DVD or watch DVD, thanks to service that gets worst.

Better off with internet and streaming elsewhere. At least on streaming, I won't have to miss shows. I'm Over priced for cable services that works like trashy satellite service. Do better with service to make sure we are getting money's worth. Looking for service elsewhere.

Fraud
February 12, 2021

On January 13,2020, I decided to switch from a post-paid plan to a pre-paid plan. I had been a Verizon Wireless cutomer for years, and just looking to redunce my monthly expense. Pre-paid was significantly less expensive. I spoke directly over the phone with customer service from both post-paid and pre-paid departments during the switch. At no time was it ever mentioned that I was still under contract and that making the switch would result in a $170 termination fee. I wasn't told I would owe anything, since I made the switch immediately after I paid my post paid account for the month. Trust me, I asked, becasue I didn't want any surprise charges. From my understanding, I was no longer under any kind of contract because contracts no longer existed. The device was not new, so it wasnt being paid for any longer. On February 12,2021, a charge for $170.74 was debited from my bank account from Verizon Wiresless. I spent several hours going back and forth between representatives and fraud prevention, only to find out that according to my post paid account information, I was still under contract and the charge imposed was an early termination fee for ending my post paid service. There is an utter lack of transparency with this company. I have tolerated it for years, but no more. It was as if the information about my supposed contract and the early termination fee was purposely left out of the extensive conversations I had with representatives when I made the switch. There was nothing in my account information that indicated that I was still under any kind of contract. In fact, I am almost positive I was told at one point during another issue with my service a year or two ago that I was, in fact, not under contract, because conrracts had been done away with. This company and its practices are fraudulent and perpetrate a terrible disservice to customers.

Went in to two Bakersfield stores to purchase a new iPad and two new phones. We have been customers with four lines for over ten years. When asked about any promotions the guy had no ideas he said " yea you might want to check on line" omg I'm in the store and wanted to hear about any great plans by an actual human. The guy helped me get an iPad with no promotion. In the middle of our purchase he called out to his partner and said " Hey can you take over I need to go to lunch" His partner said no I'm doing something and I'll return fast and I'll relieve you " we then continued our purchase when nearly done here comes his partner and took over. Omg as the guy left he didn't say sorry thank you or a word. Next we went to another store on Ming ave. This gal basically did the same " check on line for any promotions I really don't know. " We asked her about the purchase of a iPhone 12 come with a charger and she said, " Um I think it comes with the little whatchamacallit that goes in the wall but not the cord I think" " but check on line for any phone promotions" Getting a bit frustrated for answers and actual help. We started to ask for a manager. Just then we looked at her badge and it said MANAGER. So sad Verizon feels they don't have to hire quality people anymore. You know some people still don't feel comfortable on computers. I'm 58 and I am okay but still old fashion and like the human personal connection and comfort. We still haven't got our new phones but plan on purchasing them soon. Once we have time to research the promotions on the web. Just sad we don't get the human connection with great attitudes and kindness. Why do they have these stores opened in the first place. They are being paid for what.

I have verizon fios, which works pretty well unless something goes wrong. In this case i moved and had my services transferred to my new address. The technician installed one, ONE phone jack and yet entered he installed 3 on his work order. Now who needs 3 phone jacks? Not a word was said during installtion which was supposed to be free. Imagine my shock when i received my first bill! I was being charged $180 for 3 phone jacks. I immediately went online to ver in billing of course. Izon contact o chat, since i have a hearing disability on the phone. After a frustrating 45 minutes of being told at 5:30 a.m. all "agent are busy try later", i finally got someone on chat.in billing of course. He said you had 3 jacks installed and blew me off, disconnect. I then spent 20 more minutes trying to get another agent on chat. This time it was tech support, go figure. This person kept me on hold for over 2 hours while "checking" with the "away team" after 2 and one half fruitless hours i was told, "oh that tech is off today and unreachable". Smh. I asked for a supervisor, and was put on hold again for over 20 minutes to be told "call back tomorrow after we talk to the technician"! Are you kidding me? I am the customer i know what was installed and not installed. Its easy enough for tech support to send a signal to the jack and see there is only one. But i got "sorry, too bad, call tomorrow. Nothing we can do". Needless to say i did not call b or chat back. I filed a complaint with the FCC for fraudulent charges. Verizon customer support is horrible, you either wait forever to get someone or they claim they cannot do anything. Wasted 4 hours with incompetents.

Piss poor company
January 22, 2021

Check your bill every montyh. Verizon adds stuff to your bill without telling you. Why is my time less valuable than their's is? When did it become the norm to wait on the phone for 20 or more minutes to talk to a live person? I cannot stand to listen or respond to an automated system. This is unexceptable for a big company like this to treat there customers with little respect. If Verizon wasn't the only cell service in the area I would drop them in a second.

Purchased an Apple Watch Series 6 Silver Stainless Steel 40mm Case with Milanese Loop in Silver on 12/17/2020. The watch was a gift for my wife. She has been having trouble with the magnetic band not holding. Since the watch has been in our possession for more than 14 days, they will do nothing to rectify this issue on a $800 watch. Whatever you do, buy your Apple products from Apple, NOT from Verizon

Where to Begin
January 14, 2021

Where to begin? Verizon landline has been down for two weeks. Can't get in touch with a live person. Recording tells me to go outside and remove gray box and troubleshot myself. Decide I need to get my uncle a cell phone but he doesn't remember the PIN. Call Verizon Customer Service and wait 1:24 before it is answered and then rep hangs up on me. I download the app, but to get a PIN Verizon has to call/text the inoperative phone, so no go. I make a 2:00pm Appt for a call back and as of 2:45 nothing but crickets. For the love of God, I just need a porting PIN number so I can keep my uncle's number and put him on my cell plan. Hello Verizon, making the few people that can't solve their problem online wait over an hour for customer support is unforgivable. We are done with Verizon FOREVER!

Insurance
January 16, 2021

The store agent sold me an insurance plan - cost our business almost $50 per month to replace any of our business phones with a new phone - for ANY reason. We had a phone that stopped working correctly and we sent it in per the direction of the on site store rep. They returned us a REFURBISHED phone - not a new one. Then charged us $381 saying there was a small crack in the screen. It took us several months and many phone calls to get that charge off of our bill - incurring late charges that are still not off! The holiday mail is extremely slow - and they did not receive my payment yet this month - only 5 days late and threatened to turn off my service. VERY disgusted with this service to our business account of 7 phones and 2 tablets - been an excellent customer for over 7 years. DO NOT BUY THEIR INSURANCE!

My two months of experience with Verizon mobile. They send me an additional $450 bill after I closed the account. My outstanding balance was $207.82. My plan was BYD, so there is not device cost attached with my plan. They deducted an account charge of $450 from my account. I tried three days almost 2hr search waiting for the call for talking to someone in the billing department. Call gets disconnected each time after a certain period of time waiting. Verizon only interested in adding a new consumer, they give you zero respect after you become their customer. Still trying to get my money back.

Overcharge you
January 11, 2021

Verizon on Palatine road. Bought 2 new phones from Armondo, overcharged us and now it's 4.5 months later and still trying to get my bill fixed. Gave me this Hun thing which I never used and now want $50. Called over 12 times, no return. Then Dist. Mgr. Javier sent me a note to call him and we'd work it out. Called him twice. No return. Then, because I would not pay the overcharges, they shut my phones off. Had to scream, yell and swear and still nothing done. Finally got my phones on, then was told not to come back. NO PROBLEM! Still want there money. Not going to happen.

I am a 15 year Verizon customer. Customer service used to be a like gold star. It started with a 10, now its more like a 4. Tech support used to stay with me patiently to answer questions. Now, they will hardly answer the phone and try to push you to a robot. What pushed customer service aside is marketing. If you are an existing customer and sign in to a Verizon web site and try to find your cloud to find your pics, good luck. Even the techies at Verizon when you can get a hold of them do not know how and this is a fact.

I am thinking of switching to cheaper service. I used to have a friend in Verizon, I longer do.

I am a new customer who owns my own business and I missed my first payment due to being hospitalized. I set up a payment arrangement on the phone with their customer service representative agreeing to set up a payment arrangement.

I received a confirmation email and was shocked that my service was shut off without notice 5 days before the agreed upon payment date.

The customer service rep today showed that my service was still operational until her supervisor got on the line and said it had been shut off and no other options until the bill was paid in full, which had already been agreed upon and a confirmation email and text sent to me on Sunday.

Horrible, horrible, horrible service, Verizon.

Switched from ATT to Verizon today due to no ATT signal at my new home. Phone switchover at the Verizon store was excellent. Tried to add 2 new additional lines but password did not work (brand new password set today)! Tried the "forgot password" function to change password. Says you need the password! Called customer service which said to log in to the online account (can't do without password)! Vicious loop. Tried the Verizon App. Said to Log in with... uh... password! What a mistake. Should have went to another carrier. Customer service is the key, and Verizon does not have it at all. VERIZON SUCKS. STAY FAR FAR AWAY! DO NOT USE VERIZON! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! ACTUALLY, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE-does not exist. Can't get anyone online, on phone, on chat, or on App.

Verizon takes economic development subsidies and challenges the assessed value of their facilities in order to lower property tax payments. We get zero service in most of rural Montana, yet they claim to be improving American lives with 5 G, Just pay your fair share of taxes,. So I who don't get coverage don't have to oay more than my fair share!

Verizon fios is too expensive. Trapped by their termination fee, customer service wait takes forever. What verizon does best is not providing quality service to us. Its a monopoly of charging us as much as possible. Its time for more reasonable and better alternatives.

I'm documenting what was going to be a simple purchase. This past Friday (November the 27th) Black Friday, my family wanted to switch from Sprint to Verizon and get two new iPhone 12 Pro's and one iPhone SE (2020.)

The promotions on the 12 Pro's were trade in your devices, get up to 700 dollars off. They offered 1100 dollars for our phones combined. We originally wanted to do a buy one get one free deal, so this was very close. The SE was a switch and get one on us deal.

Everything seemed great until the expected delivery date, (Tuesday, December 1st) when we realized the order state still said processing and the package never came. I called the Internet Orders support line *******390) and spoke to a man named Brad.

Brad started sorting everything out by saying that somehow the original order never went through and the devices were never going to come. He started rebuilding our order and transferred us to a lady who was assisting us. The lady notified us that there was a new deal of a Buy-One-Get-One deal like we originally wanted. We switched to that, and got an email stating which seemed like everything was good.

After thoroughly reading the email, we noticed that the second phone on the buy one get one deal, was not getting its full monthly payment removed. On top of that, we were getting charged random amounts to the credit card, when we were supposed to be charged only tax. We called Verizon back, and started to receive the worst customer service we have ever received.

All we wanted was for our new order to be correct and for a receipt/email stating so. Fast forward after 7 hours of being transferred from one agent to another and being on hold for the rest, we finally talked to one person who stayed with us for the rest of the time. She told us that she could not honor either of the deals previously stated. She could not honor the trade in deal, and she changed the Buy One Get One Free to Buy-One-Get-One 800 Dollars Off.

They tried to do a bait and switch, which we reported to our credit card as fraud (which they agreed), and failed.

Now with several phones still on the way, no way to get to a real human at Verizon, and several days of time wasted, we recommend you to reconsider Verizon and their business practices.
