Very disappointing. Since receiving my new phone, with, I assume, a used phone number, I have received far... FAR more spam phone calls than I have ever received in my life. Sadly... MORE sadly, I seem to only receive about 50% of the legit phone calls I receive, but 100% of the "Suspected Spam" phone calls seem to come through. Almost daily, I get alerts that I missed a call or message, but the phone never actually rings. I am very disappointed in Verizon as I have been under the impression for years... decades that they were the best. In my personal experience, this is the worst cellular experience I have ever had.
Verizon has become such a massive size company that it no longer cares about their customers problems with their Verizon service! This is unacceptable to me. I just tried asking a question online and spent thirty minutes sifting through their process of a customer asking a question just to be told by a computer, not a human being that they did not have an answer for me. Wondering if anyone knows how to contact a Verizon customer service human being instead of the above response method?
FRAUD ALERT! After going into the Brentwood, Missouri Verizon store to purchase a phone, I realize Toni, the associate had added $150.00 per month in add on charges to our account. These add-ons were never authorized by me. Be aware of the fraudulent business behaviors by Verizon!
Unfortunately working with Verizon On billing problems is extremely difficult. Basically, approach cautiously as you would Someone who steals your money, lies to you, and purposely make it as painful as possible. My wife bought a new ipad in phone. Even though she denied insurance, They charged it anyway. After about 4 or 5 months we caught The overcharge. At 1st they said you should have checked your bill sooner as if that's a good enough reason for you to hang up. Later they acknowledged on the record that she denied insurance. At that point Verizon said well, you need to go talk to the people who sold you the phone At the franchise store. At the franchise store they told her 6 months was required. Finally after much haggling All incorporated, It was decided that it was not required. They then said they would credit read it the amount over 5 months. I guess I can't afford to refund the money they stole in the 1st place. I wonder if we'll get interest?
On July 30,2022, I call to have my Apple Watch replacement. I was on the phone with the representative for 1 hour. I have insurance on the device also. He told yes you are eligible for a replacement. He told that he was ordering the Apple Watch. He said it would be in about 2 days. After 2 days had passed. I call Verizon they claimed that there where no order been placed. I had 2 representatives lie to saying that the order was on its way. All lies and they get away with that! Verizon is a bunch of sh. T!
Horrible service, unprofessional, rude, and liars representatives, no 5G service in most areas. Stay away from Verizon!
Just switched to a new plan with new phones in January to get my bill under 100.00. Wake up this morning to a bill nearly 15.00 more. This is not what I signed in January. My husband called and the non English speaking he spoke with could not help. I'm looking in to Mint Mobile. I got screwed over years ago by AT and T, not Verizon wants to screw over already struggling Americans. Verizon is being a very shady company. Like the others, they will get exactly what they deserve. A company that refuses to work with customers who have been loyal for years, eventually lose their customers. I will not pay another cent to these people. Absolute rip off.
They steal money from your bank account and make so many mistakes that you have to pay for. DO NOT COME TO VERIZON PLEASE. I PROMISE YOU WILL REGRET IT. I turned 2 phones in to get a SO CALLED PROMO and a whole year later they overdraft my account almost $600 plus almost my $300 phone bill for the phones because. WELL THEY CAN'T EXPLAIN IT TO US. THEY SAID THE COMPUTER HAD A GLITCH but they won't give us the money back and want to give us CREDIT but i have also been charged $35 a day my account was over drafted by Verizon that lead up to us paying another $200 to my bank so i filled a fraud case with my back since they couldn't explain why they Took that money and the back returned us $524 back to our account so now Verizon is threatening to turn our phones off of we don't pay next months bill in advance witch we should have to pay it in advance but they have no explanation to why any of this is happening. They are scammers. Please don't come to Verizon. I hate to have to leave this review but we have been trying to just get our money and a explanation but they can't do that. My family lawyer said i have a case so i rather pay my lawyer to prove to Verizon that they can't get away with this. I am not the only one they do this to. I'm not even going to take the time to vent or write it all up. It's all been written here too many times. VERIZON is a GREEDY company with crooked SALESPERSONS. Yes, I was taken on a new phone deal and suckered into another 2 year contract and now paying for that phone with new fees. Nothing is free! Even if they say it is! No more VERIZON for me after this contract is up.
I was looking to switch cellphone providers and used the Verizon website chatbox.
The question was "Does Verizon have and unlimited plan for seniors?" What was a simple Yes/No answer ended up going through 3 customer service reps and 15 minutes.
Based on this experience there is no way I want to switch over to Verizon.
I changed from Cricket to Verizon because we wanted better phones. What we didn't want was a bill that was to high or that changed. We've had Verizon 6 months and the bill went from $223.13 a month to $351. We were set up with auto pay but due to a bank error we couldn't pay with our normal card so I did a one time payment with a different card. It cost me $128! Then the next bill ends up being $271. Then they can't explain to me why my bill will now be $231.00 a month with another increase coming in a few months!?!? They can't give me any straight answers about any of my increases! It's a friggin mess! I was paying $190 a month for 5 lines with unlimited data and better service at Cricket. I only have 4 lines with Verizon. I wish we'd just stayed at Cricket! My phone isn't even that much better, but my husband wants to stay. So friggin over it already.
Called Customer Service 3 times to get a line disconnected. My Version bill went up and down "why unknown", but line never was deleted and the bill kept coming. Bought a new Samsung Galaxy phone cash from Best Buy as an upgrade and proceeded to move my Account to AT&T. All 3 phones are owned by me plus the line I wanted to delete. After buying my Samsung from Best Buy cash, I could not get it unlocked and I had to keep it with Version for 30 days "why why". Finally original request of line delete accomplished. I originally had 4 lines. Now time to move carriers and unlock phones. Called to unlock all 3 lines for my AT&T move, but alas NO only two line my Note and Flip, but not my new phone bought from Best Buy, you can't have it unlocked for 30 days. No incorrect information phone purchased July 17 cannot be unlocked until September 15 "its really 60 days. My online account is so missed up I had to pay over the phone and be changed an additional $10.00 convenience fee "really really" let's get more blood from the turnup. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. You would be better with two cans and a string. Back away from Version Horrible training and learning impaired employees.
Have been a customer for 12 years. Just recently they have been charging me for netflex and than crediting my account. I called and got a run around that Verizon has nothing to do with netflex. Noone takes responsibility for anything. I asked for netflex telephone number. The lady from Verizon said she doesn't think Netflex has a number. SURPRISE I looked on the internet and found a netflex number. Actually the netflex lady was more helpful than the 52 year old Verizon lady. There is no reason to charge me and than credit me month after month. Well I even invited netflex to my house to check my T. V. on the computer it showed that I do not have netflex. Check your bills, Verizon has all these hidden tax charges and rental of their box every month. With what we pay, they want to charge for streaming shows besides. Good Bye Verizon.
Called talk to several representatives to find out we're I can have my phone fixed. No place will fix the screen on my flip phone. I was told to pay off my phone for almost $900 and get a new phone with them. Why would I do that. They spent 45 minutes and talking about the wrong phone. No help what so ever.
After 20 hours on my cell with att phone veirizon can not get there phones working there tech dept. is a joke they read the manual to you and waste your time i have talked with at least 10 of there tec and no fix all the equipment is verizon i was to move 10 lines to them from at&t to verizon after the land line phone got to us it took 4 weeks to get them working on there one talk we have had problem after problem with them now our phone is blocked and they can not unblock it
They keep messing up my order and my accounts. They have lied to me about 15 times about two things and they don't listen to me when i tell them an issue. When i ask a question they don't answer it. They suck and they are my last straw that's the only reason i'm continuing on with my service.
I recently changed from AT+T to Verizon wireless. In hindsight I would not do this. If Verizon refunded the taxes I paid and waived the restocking fees on the phones I purchased I would return to AT+T. I spoke with 4 representatives from Verizon and not one could explain how the change over process worked. They make no attempt to assist in the process. The best description of the switch is Verizon has no process around how this works. No one at the company takes any ownership in seeing that this goes smoothly. Once the change does happen and there are issues with the phone (and there will be), the response is I can't help you or wait till tomorrow and see what happens.

Verizon is charging me 6k for something I never used and canceled before the trail period. They're the most incompetent company I've ever experienced. They're supervisors lie, place you on hold for hours and hang up without calling back. NECER DO BUSINESS WITH VERIZON OR YOU WILL REGRET IT! My PREDICTION THIS COMPANY WILL GO OUT OF BUDINESS SOON BECAUSE IT HAS SUCH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
