Anytime you need to call customer service, whether it's something minor or not, you can bet on at least an hour of your day wasted. That is if you get disconnected less than 3 times. I have found that the agents are not very knowledgeable, and you get transferred multiple times, after explaining your situation to each new agent. I am happy I left after 14 years of trying. Many agents are outsourced in other countries that don't necessarily understand your demographics. I switched to t Mobile. I have faster speeds, half the price and they paid off all my devices. Kick rocks Verizon
Nice employees unable to do much with their company's terrible products. Avoid any 'perks' - Verizon elevates their prices to make their offers seem reasonable (Apple One cheaper with Apple; Streaming channels cheaper with their own sites than thru Verizon). Hours and hours spent attempting to access their offers, use their website, work with store employees to NO AVAIL.
Sarah was unable to remove the SIMM card from my Verizon MiFI8800 Jetpack today and tried using a metal pin (the kind used to eject SIMM cards from older iPhones) pushing the SIMM card out the end of the socket and breaking one of the metal pin contacts. This destroyed the jetpack's ability to connect to the SIMM which it was doing at home just prior to visiting this store. The store Manager insinuated that I did it with no offer to repair or replace the jetpack. There was a brief offer of partial coverage for a used product if I bought something on eBay. Why should you do business with incompetent people who are unwilling to accept responsibility for the damage they cause? I am taking my business elsewhere. Just another disgruntled former Version customer.
Listen. I don't do this $#*!. But this was the worst service I have ever received in my life. And you can treat me like $#*! idc. Listen I was on hold for 40 min. Then finally got to a person. Then had an another 25 min hold time because I had to get someone else on the line. Fine ok. Then he says someone will call you shortly. I thought perfect. Guess what a robo then they hang the phone up. I thought I was getting a person on the line so I can spend more money at you f company. Wtf is wrong with y'all. You say someone is going to call me but I get a gd robo then they hang up on me. I'm switching to $#*!ing atta or T-Mobile asap because y'all $#*! has been $#*! since forever. I hope this company gets $#*!ing bud light Ed. I didn't even finish. Y'all I called back like 5 times trying to get back so I could have told this over the phone. Y'all suck I'm switching. I hope this company doesn't exist in 3 years. And y'all phone service is $#*! too.
Me and my friend have had the worst service with Verizon. I got on her plan last year and tried to get a IPhone 13 and the guy at the store screwed it up. So needless to say I had to use my phone bc we couldn't get a new one. Well we started seeing on the bill that we are paying on the phone that we never got. Never signed an agreement or anything. Didn't walk out of the store with a new phone. That guy screwed it up to where I can't get a new phone right now. We have been trying for over a year to get that taken off and they still won't take it off. Now this month they are trying to charge us on the bill to pay for the rest of the phone which is $300 and something. Charging several different fees, one of them being service phone agreement plan. This is pathetic. Horrible excuse for a business. We don't understand why they can't give us the phone that has been paid on every since instead of screwing us over every month. This is ridiculous. Wished I could have gave a negative 100 review.
I have been with verizon for over 20 years and over the past month they have been nothing but a problem. My phone has been giving me issues so they talked me into a new one I HATED IT so then they sent me a replacement of my original phone it worked ok for 24 hours then quit sending text messages I spent an hour on Sunday morning on the phone with them and FINALLY the person in tier 2 got it working that lasted a week and it quit again since sunday afternoon I have spent over 8 hours on the phone with various agents trying to get this issue fixed nobody can seem to figure out the issue and most of them honestly don't really care they will work on it for a while and tell me to restart my phone and they will call me back and then THEY NEVER DO! Last night I talked to 8 YES 8! Agents and nobody could help I am so sick of all of this for two days now if I am not at work I am on the phone with verizon why are these companies not better regulated then this they are NOTHING BUT A BUNCH OF CROOKS! DONE WITH VERIZON!
This is the worst company in the world to deal with I was previously told that I was approved for $7,000 worth of merchandise I put the order through I signed documentation and I was told I could pick up my order at the store then I was told my order was canceled because it wasn't picked up in 72 hours even though I never got a email to pick up merchandise up upon talking to customer service I was told that I wasn't really ever approve I was only approved for a prepaid services if this is so why did you guys have me sign a hundred different documents that I have proof of in my email only to tell me that I was only approved for prepaid services I will switch to almost 15 different customer service representatives and no one can seem to help this is the worst customer service and the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life please save yourself the time and go elsewhere
I have been w/Verizon since 1996, other than 3-years in Alaska (you didnt have service at the time) I have been a customer. BUT your billing and LACK OF REAL PEOPLE (you call customer service) is a ZERO.
Everytime we upgrade a phone w/you are billing cycle is messed up for months. It leaves me feeling like we are being cheated...EVERYTIME! Last 2-upgrades my auto-pay stopped working, this is a time suck and YOU need to correct this. We deserve better!
I spent 34 mins in a auto- forward phone circle, waiting for help. Had to do a google search "how to speak w/a human", fun fact...VERIZON was the first option. The third number did help me reach a real human being! Its broke please fix it! I pay the few more bucks over your competitors for the cell service, however time has come to reconsider my cell service, 100% because of your customer service and billing shortfalls!. Ps- I only have 5 lines on my bill so maybe its not a big deal to Verizon. However I do over see and authorize payment for 2 government agencies in DHS for the entire state of North Carolina. Don't want to over state but well over a 100 lines. All customers pick venders based off needs, expense and service rendered, then we vote w/our money!
I recommend less money on commercial's and to hire more real humans to help your customer's. This seems so BASIC given you are in the phone, communication business for humans!.
We had 2 Samsung Galaxy S21 ultra phones that were reaching full memory and the screens started freezing. Had to restart them several times per week.
Researched phones and decided on the New Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. Samsung website advertised a $700 credit for each S21 Ultra and $25 a month for the new S23 Ultra.
Been with Verizon for over 20 years so decided to check with them. Had to pay off the remainder of each S21, $240 each after 2 years. We didn't want to change our plan, $90 per month for 2 phones to a new plan of $75 per month for each phone. We picked up the 2 new S23 Ultra phones. "Ok, you'll get your phones shipped to you. " What about the NFL Sunday Ticket? "Sorry but that's only if you change plans." Walked out with the 2 new phones after paying more than $700 and recieved nothing else.
We get the new phones, transfer our files, photos etc then bring the old phones back to trade them in. "You get $280 for each phone." What happened to the employee telling us the deal is the same as the Samsung website? "He probably didn't know you weren't changing plans." "It doesn't matter about the old phones condition, it depends on your plan. If you want to change plan I can give you $700 per phone." Both phones back in the factory boxes with all included accessories and in perfect condition.
So, not $25 per month for 2 years but it's now $33 per month for 3 years. Not $700 per phone for trade in, $280. A $400 loss.Each phone. Not even the NFL Sunday Ticket which I could care less about but after buying 2 Verizons flagship phones and 20 plus years, no late or missed payments, I figured my business would be worth a little something. A charger? A screen protector? A case? Nope. Verizon doesn't care about faithful customers just incentives for new customers or if you want to go to a more expensive plan. Even dinged us for a $35 upgrade fee after buying 2 new phones and paying off the old ones. No wonder articles are saying Verizon is shedding customers.
Verizon is someplace to go to get screwed again and again. Looking into other carriers. Consumer Cellular?
I wish I could rate Verizon a zero! Customer serrvice is impossible to reach and service reps are allowed to LIE to customers with no ramifications. I spent nearly 6 weeks trying to get my phone "unlocked" and was told it was automatically unlocked after so many days - not true. Several calls to their so-called customer service did NOT help to solve the situation. Needless to say, I was FORCED to go to another provider to buy a phone that I needed to keep in touch with my elderly mom. Several letters to Mr. Vestberg, the CEO were useless. He delegated my letter to someone in corporate relations and I received a denial to my request to be reimbursed for a new phone and mileage to purchase one. The decision was made with illogical reasoning - why tell me to get another SIM card when I received one from my new provider? How can you say the phone was unlocked without having my phone to diagnose this? Verizon is HORRIBLE and I will elevate to this to other levels to receive MY customer satisfaction not to mention the frustration they have caused me! Save your time and energy and go with another provider to prevent yourself from being totally dissatisfied!
Tried to file an insurance claim for a new phone.
Spent 7 hours August 16,2023 in store trying to get the 4 digit pin.
Spent 4 1/4 hours August 17,2023 online and telephone trying to get the 4 digit pin.
Spent 5 hours today, August 18,2023 trying to port phone number to T-mobile, but Verizon would not help.
Customer support is impossible to deal with. The agents just don't get it. You'll never get the feeling that your concerns will get properly resolved. I've never dealt with a company that makes you feel so uncomfortable. Their prices are ridiculous and they just hit me with a $6/line fee out of nowhere just to move me to a more expensive plan. It's not the $6 fee it's the pettiness of the organization without recognizing that something so small could piss off long time customers.
This used to be a good company. I don't know what happened but I'd stay away.
Granted a 900 credit limit placed a order was placed on hold because terms and conditions the reps are no help and liars so the order was canceled with a promise of money being returned in 72 hours and once I canceled it it will allow me to reorder and the order would be pushed through got more money out of me because of the error on verizon end in store and over the phone caused them to put a fraud on my credit got the hold removed with a promise of in store pick up went back to the store to pick the phone up once again its another hold request to cancel the order again by reps now Im looked at as if Im creating fraud and out of 172 dollars until they decide to release the hold and return my money I do not recommend because you will be made to look like you are the fraud after identifying yourself because their customer service reps suck on both ends in store over the phone and the fraud department as well now both of my banks want me to show proof that no one has stolen my cards and all verizon tell you is they have done all they can after causing it to look like fraudulent activity dont waste your time because you will spend hours repeating yourself to get no where
We have been Verizon customers for over 20 years. We just switched to an unlimited plan. With our previous plan, we had a 20% discount based on my employer. When we switched over, the associate said I just had to contact a number (that he gave me) and the person answering could instate the discount to my new plan. I called the number and the very considerate and helpful person said that that plan did not have the 20% discount. She went out of her way to try to find discounts (none). She gave me a phone number for the complaint department. I called. With each question, the representative took several seconds to respond and often did not answer my question. I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was told someone would call me back immediately. That was yesterday - not calls. I was also told if I went back to my old plan, I MIGHT be able to get the previous discount. I can no longer recommend Verizon to my friends or family.
After being with them for four year they screwed me over big time recommend never accepting service from them
I went to verizon authorized retailer at 3647 browns bridge rd. In cumming ga.Paul was really helpful and knowledgeable, he is a great employee for verizon and certainly for the customer.
This company has to be one of the worst on the business market. When I've been on a plan for over 10 yrs and you continuously pester me about payments being one cycle late. I've had it up to my neck I'm really thinking about switching Sims at this point and they can just take my phone it's getting really old. They are worried about the customer none and the money only. Verizon was better before they absorbed Altell. Now it's a nationwide joke. Whoever is on the board should stick their f****ING foot in their mouth cuz there redundant. IF YOU HAVE NOT GOTTEN A PHONE FROM VERIZON DONT THEY ARE A PAIN IN THE $#*! AND NOT MUCH ELSE. Can't even log onto the app to pay my bill cuz the always set my phone do limited data bunch of idiots.
I have spent 12 hours trying to signup for Verizon. 2/3 attempts by chat and 3 going on 4 attempts in store. They have technical issues everytime and cannot complete the orders.
I have reached out to customer service and have screenshots of the reps telling me their sorry I was given the wrong information but now theyre telling me the correct information and cannot compensate me or cancel the extra charges due to the misinformation.
I was asked after the third trip to verizon store how it's going and I told them fine but my experience with this store has not been great. The response was by the district manager, sean, well why did you come then… he already knew who I was because my previous orders could not be completed due to their tech issues. No apology, lets see if I can make today painless, I'm sorry for yiur experience, just why did you come. Well, Sean, you have my devices in your vault, so that is why I am here.
I thought cell service would be better, it's not. At times I cannot load things and don't bother trying to get anyone to fix your issue. No one knows how.
I regret starting the process to switch. I warn yiu that any incentive offer they give you is not worth the hassle and if you have any issues, no one will care to fix them. This company wants your money, they do not care about treating you with respect.
