I thought they had the cutest clothes for the price but it was some of the cheapest material I've ever seen; I ordered a yellow romper and it was so thin I had to send it back and then charge me 14.00 to return to items in the same package they lost my business. I washed one of the items in Woolite and it tore up, I was so disappointed in the fabric, the items are so cute in the magazine but crap when you get it in the mail. It may work for some people it just depends on what you want to look like, but I don't like looking cheap.

The thing I have a major problem with is the reviews; reviews both on the Dressvenus site and on THIS Jabber site. Amazing how each Cheesy Commercial sounding review is written by a new reviewer... real people do not speak like this! Every single review giving 5 stars is utterly fabricated, anyone with half a brain can tell. I chased an order for a coat and they claimed 2 weeks later I had not paid... I protested, told them all the info for prove payment and now apparently the coat is on it's way. We'll see. But the reviews are a joke, total lies. The clothes may or may not be OK, but it does not fill you with confidence

I cannot believe all the bad reviews on here! When ordering online, you dont get to try the clothes on, so chances are you might get something that doesnt fit well! You have to expect that. I have ordered many times with Venus and have had no issues! There are times when something doesnt fit me right, and I return or exchange it. Like any other company, if you use their free shipping promo, you will have to pay shipping if your order drops below the required amount, duh! All of the clothes I have purchased (and its a wide selection, coats, shirts, pants, shoes, etc) have been good quality and have looked great. Some I have returned for not fitting properly, but thats to be expected.

BEWRE! Wish I'd found this site before I ordered my daughter's wedding dress. She needed a maternity dress, and a very pretty one came up in our search under "maternity wedding dress". While it shipped on time, when it arrived the lining was far too small to work with her growing belly (twins). It wasn't a maternity dress at all. The worst part is that although their site allows to you "start a dispute", it doesn't go anywhere. Read the positive comments in reviews carefully. Do not sound like native english speakers - my guess is they are written by employees.

I was thinking of ordering from Venus as a first time customer. However, being a frequent online shopper, I like to google reviews on certain websites before placing an order. After running into this website and reading ALL the horrible reviews, FORGET ABOUT IT. I instantly cancelled my order (even though the dress was absolutely gorgeous and on sale). Venus should really take their customers into consideration and change their ways. Otherwise, they will lose more future customers. What a shame. Thank you for all the reviews! You guys saved me the time and headache!

Very bad experience and it's not over yet!
I ordered an paid an item 16 days ago but on their website it still shows AWAITING PAYMENT!
I sent many emails with the transaction number from my bank showing that the payment was made but it seems they don't really understand English because they're keep asking for ''the more payment information''
It looks like a SCAM to me - how come their website freezes very convenient at the last step of the payment, after the client adds their visa info and they're just waiting for confirmation? Then after 5 minutes it comes back at the previous screen asking again for the same info, but meanwhile the payment was processed just that it only shows on your Visa account and not on their website…

I ordered this in black on 09/13/13 and received it 10/09/13. I opened the package with excitement to only get a huge let down. The fabric is Halloween costume material at best. China made and extremely poor quality. Not what they have in picture! I can see through it. I followed the size chart and it is way too small. I can't even get it on. It should be big on me. I will never waste money ordering from Dressvenus again. This will go in the costume box for my daughter to wear since it may fit her next Halloween
