I ordered over $200 worth of clothing for a vacation from Venus and after 2 weeks of no updates I contacted customer service. They did end up refunding me for the purchase but I was really disappointed not to get the clothes! Definitely will not even try to purchase anything from them again.

I ordered a white sweat shirt 5 weeks ago, got email that it was shipped after 3 weeks I called to check on it was told it was at my post office, I called my post office it was not there. Called again and was told they would ship me another one when I never received that one I called again, was told they would put tracer on it, finally got a message on my machine from a Kelsey telling me that the shirt I ordered was sold out but when I ordered it 5-weeks ago they had all sizes, I have told everyone I can about this company. Hopefully people will read some these reviews and not order from this company

Stay Away!

I came across a cute crotchet trim cami on the Venus an, after reviewing the size chart, ordered it. I couldn't wait to receive my new shirt! Yeah, I could have waited. I received an item that was marked "Medium", but appeared to be an Extra Large. So, I put the shirt back in the plastic it came in and sent it back the next day with the return label provided (as most companies provide).

Almost 2 weeks later, I received correspondence from Venus stating that they would not be giving me a full refund due to the shirt being used and a stain appearing on the inside sleeve (which could only mean either the shirt had a stain before leaving the Venus warehouse or they were providing a reason so a refund did not have to be issued).

When I called to find out why this was stated as the reason I was only getting a partial refund, customer support could only reiterate what was written in the notification email. Not only that, but then she told me that since I had used the return slip provided, I would be charged $6.95 because i used their return slip. See, there's very small font on the back of the return slip. It's very tiny, almost unreadable. Apparently, that little tiny font tells the customer that if they use that slip, they will be charged the shipping fee... which is actually more than if I had used USPS Priority Mail.

Finally, the rep told me that i wasn't actually even going to get the partial refund issued back to my card. No, I was getting store credit. I had to push the rep to issue a refund to the card I used to purchase the item since I had every intention of NEVER buying from this company again.

Trust me, ladies, you want to steer as far away from this company as you can!

I ordered a cotton sweater, wore it a couple of times, washed it on delicate and laid it flat to dry, once and three of the grommets came off and there were three large snags in the sweater. Called customer service, she said I'd get a refund. Turns out, I got a store credit... unacceptable. I spoke with a customer service supervisor and she said she spoke with two other supervisors and it was the customer's fault because I washed it! So they gave me a crappy store credit. I asked the Supervisor to confirm that she is not standing behind defective merchandise and blaming this on the customer and is refusing to give me a refund, and she said yes. Her name is Sheila... horrible products and even more horrible customer service.

I have been order from Venus since 3 years ago I never have been dissappointed excelent quality and the sizes are perfect. The I tem I live the most is a black laced gown, used for my first cruise and Everybody was giving me compliments. Highly recommened

I ordered a $75 swimsuit a month ago, still have not received it and if you go to the website it just says 'Shipped' that was a month ago!? So for the first time ever I guess the mail lost my package... this happened before when I ordered from them never received the item! Venus sucks! Go to your local bathing suit store if you're trying to get a suit this way you know you will get it and you know it will fit!

There is a reason why Venus's 1-star reviews greatly outnumber any other reviews. They are absolutely HORRIBLE! I will never order from them again. I ordered 3 items which were available at the time of purchase. Apparently my credit card was declined for some reason by Venus but I had used the same card elsewhere. It is not my credit card that was the issue. It was Venus. They sent me 1 email that the CC was declined, but another email a few minutes later that it was processed. When I called to inquire a couple of days later, they seemed so confused so I gave them another credit card and it processed. I finally received my order but received only 1 out of the 3 items ordered. I called, they transferred me to some other department (apparently 'order status' was not the correct selection to inquire?), and my call got dropped. I started an online chat with rep Rachelle Baxter, she never responded on the chat and kept typing 'Are you there?' No response. I started a new chat who a more adept rep. However, she indicated that there was only 1 item that was ordered even though I had email proof and a printout that I had ordered 3 items. Customer service deserves ZERO stars. Service deserves ZERO stars. Do yourself a favor and buy from somewhere else. I know their products look beautiful and unique, but it'll so you a lot of pain and heartbreak if you buy elsewhere.

Horrible

First time order with Venus. The bottoms of the suit I ordered were on back order so I had to wait about a month. When it finally arrived, they had sent 2 bikini tops. I ordered the bright purple and they sent some ugly magenta color. The label on the bag with the wrong style top said bikini shorts. After waiting all this time, I'm sending it back. I probably won't get my refund for another month. Never again.

The pieces I keep are a slam dunk. If you have an hourglass figure these styles will compliment you. I'm picky about the way things feel and the materials feel nice and are practical (e.g. I don't do well with linen or polyester that doesn't breathe). Reasonable pricing, I did have to return a few things, no problems with reimbursements.

I just received these nasty $#*!. 50$ looking cheap $#*! clothing and sandles that have cow bells ringing sounds when I tried on. Smh. Lol. Lol. I'm soo mad right now I have to laugh. Lol. I've gotten cuter clothing that fits better from the Family Dollar store than this lying unethical discussing company called Venus.com.

I received the other day and ship back the next day. What really gets me is that the free paid shipping label is not FREE. They deduct out of Refund WTF and you'll never get my business no more. I filed a claim through my bank I'm getting all of my monies back. They're not a ligit no morals bad customer service Co..

I love ordering from Venus. I have ordered many things. I have to say though, the quality is not the same. Bought a dress last month and by the 2nd wear the lining is all ripped. I also got a brand new dress with a whole in it...? I never had problems in the past. I hope that they get better quality back.

I admired a friends outfit and she told me about Venus. I decided to give Venus a try. And ordered a dress. The dress came right on time, fit wonderfully, I have now placed 4 additional orders and each has come in record time, I even had a problem with a gift card and the Woman at the help desk was very professional and took care of me and resolved my problem,, Not sure why so many women seem to be unhappy. I have had nothing but Praise for the Venus customer service and the Clothes fit and look great.

I have never ordered from Venus prior, only browsed their site online. Their clothes looked really cute and the reviews from customers where great, raving about the quality and fit.
I assumed with seeing a bunch of good reviews, I would also be satisfied with my purchases when I finally decided to order from them.
I purchased $200 worth of clothing(9 pieces) taking advantage of a couple discounts. I received it at the time they said I would, so far so good.
However, when I opened my box and went through the clothing, I couldn't believe how awful every piece looked.
The material for most of the garments I received, where the polyester cheap material, the kind of clothing you would get online from ordering straight from China(in fact-every tag in their clothing said made in China) or what you would expect to see at a swap meet.
I thought there was some type of mistake and went back online to compare the garments I received to their pictures.
Some of my pieces where not even the same material, cut, color was slightly different, even the print was slightly off from what was stated and shown.
I decided to try the pieces on (might as well) they all fit horribly!
I'm now going to have to return everything. After seeing these reviews I'm worried that they'll say they never received my return or charge me for a restocking fee(I did not see that stated in their return policy).
Crossing my fingers and hoping I don't run into a problem.
I cannot believe all the great reviews I've read, when what I received was poorly made and cheapy fabric- clothing.
Wondering if they use different manufacturers to make their clothing and it's a hit or miss, or if a lot of the reviews are fake. I was even wondering if they use cheap fabric for their bigger sizes (I ordered xl and size 16) and perhaps their clothing is only good quality and fit for their smaller sizes.
All I know is, I will never order anything from Venus again.

Do NOT buy from this website unless you're 100% sure everything will fit. They are AWFUL at exchanges. I will not explain the whole story, but bottom line is that something went wrong and my account was double dipped. Totally the company's fault, but the first person I spoke with didn't even apologize. In fact, she was very unprofessional. She answered the phone by saying, Hello, first of all. After I told her what the problem was, she didn't respond. Just heard lots of typing in the background. Then she said there wasn't any way to get my money back until they received the merchandise that I didn't even order. The whole process will take about 2 weeks! And I've already waited 2 weeks for my refund. She put me on with her supervisor who basically told me the same thing. I told her that's a long time to wait for my money back when it isn't even my fault. She apologized but basically said that's just the way it is. When I asked her if there was anything else she could do for me ( money off my next order would've been a good thing), she said no. I will NEVER order from them again!

Do not buy!

I had to pick a number for the review. I had to pick one. I would give a 0! I used to order from Venus years ago and didn't have a good experience. Now that VICTORIAS SECRET isn't selling their amazing bathing suits anymore, I figured, I would give them another try. This is over three weeks later and I still don't have my items. I ordered bathing suits for vacation that I didn't have. I received a confirmation order by email. I called about the order and the representative told me my card needed to be approved by the bank. What!?! It didn't make any sence at all. Especially since I used my credit card not bank card. I called again to see what was going on. This time they said it was declined. Impossible since my credit card was paid off. I called my credit card. They never ran the order. Today I cancelled the order. A few minutes later my credit card company's fraud department called. They tried to run the order through! They didn't care that I cancelled the order. Didn't try to rectify. I asked for the supervisor and she talked through the customer service woman. So frustrated! Terrible service! I will NEVER order from them again! They don't care about customers. And now that I read their reviews on cheap materials I'm happy i didn't receive the order! Everything happens for a reason

I ordered several items from Venus. The fabric for all of them were of very poor quality. On top of that, when I returned the items, Venus charged shipping and re-stocking fees. I would rather buy a quality-made top for $100.00 than to buy five tops from Venus for the same price.

My closet is all Venus clothes now. I don't want to wear anything else. I first found Venus when I was going on a cruise. I ordered in a couple of cover-ups and they were so cute when they came in that I went back to the site to shop for other things and wound up spending around $600 for everything I needed for the 11 day cruise. I got more compliments than my girlfriend who bought all her stuff at Tommy Bahama and paid a King's ransom for it. I have gotten several of my friends hooked on Venus too and we constantly text each other when cute dresses go on sale. I'm getting married in just a few days and I'm wearing a Venus wedding dress. All my bridesmaids are wearing Venus dresses and they love them and these don't break the bank. I can't recommend this company more highly. Everyone that works there is top notch and very helpful and gracious. My experience has been wonderful! Don't be afraid to buy from them. You won't find cuter clothes at a more reasonable price anywhere else.

I stopped purchasing from Venus due to the CSR and I never recieved $151.00 return. I sent the product back and to this day 2 years later no cheque. I tried dealing with the stupidity on the other end of the phone but one can take only so much stupid in a life time.

Placed an order on Sunday paid for 2 day delivery, had to call five times to verify why my shipping and billing address was different (shipping to a friend for Birthday present). Finally got feed up with their stupidity will stick to my faithful online stores (Ann Taylor etc). This company is a joke must not want business.

I placed 2 orders from Venus in preparation for a cruise I was going on within a 2 month period. I never received my order which was in the vicinity of $600. When I contacted the company I received the worst customer service ever. The agent could not tell me what happened to my order and she did not listen to the information I was giving her. I told her I would definitely not be dealing with Venus in the future and she said thanks for visiting us and we look forward to your business in the future. Where does this company get its customer service reps. Surely such a company will not stay in business.
