This being my first experience with valuemystuff, i was pleased overall with the whole experience. I received my appraisal/valuation in a timely manner, and I felt it was quite accurate.
Hasn't been the easiest trying to submit for a valuation. First attempt failed.
Obtaining an appraisal was easy, fast and the resulting appraisal certificate was welcome and presentable as part of the provenance of the item.

The valuation was performed on time, however it was very basic. The item I valued has initials of a person who made it, no indication of an author was included. The information provided I could find online myself. Not worth £25.

I decided to get appraisals from valuemystuff and two of the leading vintage guitar appraisers. The two guitar appraisers matched, but the valuemystuff appraisal was half the valuation.
Thank you for your feedback Scott. We provide auction estimates which are always lower than private sales values, but can be far exceeded during the right sale, on the right day.
It is also always prudent to start low to attract bidders.
We do not share details of our appraisers. Certified appraisals are available from other service providers. Usually this come at significantly greater cost than our modest fee.
