I had a horrible experience with an item they sent it had stains on it and ended up being a total nightmare to resolve. In good faith I gave them a second chance and ordered the same dress in a different colour and told them I did so. Even after that the dress arrived less then satisfactory. There was a small hole in the waistband at the front, the back buttons were stitched wrong and the build in cups were closer to my shoulder then my chest.

Im a first time customer of Utsav. Spent a long time looking at Sarees and Salwar Kameez on many websites but decided to use Utsav for their great prices and huge range of clothing. I finally bought a saree with next day shipping, but didnt expect it to reach me quickly after reading reviews here that warn of delays, etc. I received my saree in ONE WEEK flat, all the way here in Singapore. Ordered on a Friday and received the following Thursday. Its as pictured on the website and came with a saree bag to store the saree in! Im just wowed by this experience and thought I must share it.
A word of advice here is try to avoid ordering online during festive season like Diwali or Christmas. My experience is sometimes postal services can get swamped and take a Long time to clear backlog. Ill make it a point to order way before the peak period.

I specifically selected a sari from the next day shipping category because I needed it by this Friday, November 10 for an event. I placed the order on Wednesday November 1st and after not getting email confirming it shipped I contacted utsav. I just received an email saying it will take another 2-3days to ship and another 5days to deliver so I know it will be impossible for me to receive it in time for Friday. This is stressful as I have little time to prepare an outfit for the event as it is already Tuesday November 7th. If I had known that utsav would be unreliable, I would have ordered from another site or went out to the stores in my area. I wasted money and time. I will be leaving this as a review for your website to warn others like me. Apparently, next day shipping means it will be shipped in maybe 6-8business days.

I purchase a lot of sarees from Utsav. Sarees were nice but blouse stitching was very very poor. Blouse size was wrong even though I provided specific instructions and measurements. Quality of the stitching was very bad. Material was bunched up in places and hemming was showing through on outside of blouse. Looked very bad when worn. I brought this to their attention every time and asked for quality check of finished products. But I continue to get very poorly stitched blouses. I might buy sarees from them but no more blouse stitching since they clearly can't seem to get it right.

I used to be a frequent customer not having experienced many problems before. This time though I made two orders, one as a gift and other a personal one. The sizes for the gift one were all wrong and I was waiting for the entire shipment from the same order to come in before reporting. When I reported the problem, I was told that it was too late and cannot be resolved now. Not just that, the one which was most recent couldn't be returned. The orders were made because it said quick delivery and was meant as Durga Puja gifts but did not reach even at the time of Diwali. They have all been a month late even within India. If you like something from the site and want to place orders, please make a note of this - you cannot return it even if it is a problem at their end. Also, there is no way of contacting them over phone. They say they can call you at a scheduled time and call 2 weeks later when you are least expecting it and say you missed their call.

Ordered a salwar kameez and paid for ready to made measurements. The stitching on the sleeves were sloppy and no adjustments were made to the waist even though this is part of the standard measurement. The silk part of the salwar kameez is so stiff and does not flow as nicely like in the picture. So disappointed in the outfit material and stitching. Asked for a refund, and Utsav immediately gave a refund. Not sure if I will order again, but note that Utsav does provide good customer service.
