Unacceptable delivery delays

Benton KY Post Office

Brian with this Post Office was so polite and so helpful. I have had nothing but great experiences with them. An item we ordered was sent to our camper address in Benton instead of our home address. Brian located the package which had been received at this Post Office and was able to send the package to us which has been received. I thank Brian so much for his help and for going the extra mile to help us with this package. We were so afraid this would be lost, but due to his outstanding efforts it was not. THANK YOU!

First time passport applications. Upon arriving at USPS location in Hickory, NC, we found the very old and historically build USPS building not made for passport offices or the application process due to room and access...but Karen, the USPS representative erased all that with an immediate warm, welcoming, helpful, and professional attitude of complete customer service with a smile, and laugh, during our entire process. Karen eased the stress of passport application and all that brings. Karen brought common sense and a great knowledge of what the State Department expected for passport application. Way to go Karen and THANK YOU greatly. God bless you.

Service?

West Richand mail service is terrible. They won't pick up mail from our box. They put the flag down and leave it. They won't try to deliver a certified letter. They just leave a copy of the wrong pick up slip. They rarely deliver the mail pictured to be delived on the day they say it's coming. It seems they purposely hold packages back a day so they can work overtime? They were driving around with trick or treaters at 8pm( we get about 170 treaters every Halloween). Today our mail was crammed in our box and soaking wet.

Package withholding

The Providence, RI. Postal office took possession of my package on Nov. 1st and should have been delivered on Nov. 2nd. Now when I call the number to track a package it will not be delivered until Nov. 13th It takes them 12 days to deliver a small package? It's a wonder why people are switching to other delivery services... This is why they lost 8.8 billion in 2021... Bet 2022 is higher... Just try to deal with business who do not use USPS and you'll be happier

Incompetent

One word: INCOMPETENT. I was supposed to receive a package from oldnavy on Sunday Oct. 30. The tracking states that a delivery was attempted and then forwarded. I have no forwarding address. I spoke with a local usps manager Nov. 1 at 12pm, who said she would speak with the carrier to find out what happened. Now the tracking says my package was returned to sender on Nov. 1 at 4:47pm, after I spoke with the manager. The items are now out of stock on oldnavy. Spoke with USPS chat, who stated "Says it was forwarded in error by the carrier and ultimately returned because there is no forwarding order on file for you. It was returned before the manager was able to locate it. Regrettably, there's no way to stop the return now." Absolutely unacceptable. Apple Valley, CA

Back mail carrier

On fri Oct 28th mail carrier rung my doorbell too find my package and mail on the ground outside my backdoor. I approach her told her that was unacceptable, sign at front door saying put package inside the screen door mail should be in mailboxes. I was furious get it right geesz

Handle with care?

This is is very upsetting! I even wrote handle with care on the box and they still smashed it! Pissed! Do not trust usps people, do not! I even used priority mail and paid extra to have this happen.

Long and Wrong

Company Motto should be Long and Wrong. They just can't seem to be competent enought to get a package from point A to point B without sending it thousands of miles in the wrong direction first and as a customer we just pray we ever see it at all. They have stolen, YES STOLEN, many of my items and they just stink at the ONE JOB they have. This package was going from Ill to New Jersey so USPS decided to send it by way of LA in California.

Mail Pick Up & Delivery

I called USPS because for 2 days I put mail in my mailbox an had my flag up so the mail carrier would pick it up but it wasn't picked up either day. I was told that the mail carriers contract doesn't require them to pick mail up if they don't have any mail to deliver at a residence. I wonder when that all changed? I was disappointed

We shipped a package that included mementos of our recently deceased mother/grandmother. We (mistakenly) put an incorrect destination address & zip on the package. Upon realizing our mistake, we reached out to our Local & USPS Centers. They jumped through hoops and followed the package to insure it arrived at the correct destination. Hats off to Riverton, UT & Tyler, TX USPS. Well done and thank you.

Lost military mail
September 14, 2022

My mom sent this package to me during a deployment. It left her post office on 17Aug22. It is now 15Sep22 and they claim it hasn't left Houston, TX. When anyone there looks for it, they can't find it. The post office ain't what it used to be. You had a chance of getting your mail then. I guess I can forget getting anything sent to me during deployments. My mom has tried everything she can and they seem like they can care less. Good luck getting anything you send outside the US.
I honestly have never had an issue in the states sending items. My question is why she lives in Texas and that's all the further it got before getting lost.

If you don't care when your package ever arrives your best bet would be to ship it with USPS. They will have no problem taking forever to get your package to you.

Lost candy for god sakes!

USPS is downright bad! I swear how do you lose bags of candy somewhere in New jersey! People these days in mail carrying companies don't know a f****** thing. So now i get a replacement today for a bag of SOUR NERDS something that should've never happened! They better not have my mail thrown around or packages in the god damn bushes! Either Very ridiculous and i can't expect anything worse from them and next time my package gets lost its over! Especially when there are small items in the package like literally keep f****** track of the package, not that hard!.

Don't receive my mail

I have the informed delivery but I do not receive the mail that I am supposed to get. Today is Thursday and I still haven't received the mail that I should have received last Saturday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday which is beyond ridiculous.The path to my mailbox is unobstructed and we don't have dogs running loose so I don't know why the mailperson isn't delivering my mail but there is no excuse for it.

Don't waste your time on 800 ask usps

USPS- For 3 weeks my disabled sister and I delt with Amazon and the VERY USELESS 800askusps number to find a missing package. The USPS scanned the package (puppy pee pee patch)that it was delivered 'in or around the mailbox'. My sister lives in an apartment complex that would make that impossible. (See pic. Item the day before delivered TO DOOR) This was explained several times to Amazon and the 800 number for USPS. It seemed that nothing was going to happen. The USPS never even contacted us after a case was opened to investigate. Today I called the LOCAL post office where my sister lives. It took a whole 2 minutes to find out that it was delivered to the wrong address. Local post office is THE BEST!

How tcan you say that my package was delivered 2 HOURS AGO when it very clearly wasn't. Or they'll say it was delivered but they just leave it outside the door despite there being a sign that says to bring it inside, I dont know where you get off lying like this but you need to stop and get your $#*! together.
