Bike was picked and up and delivered the next day. Enclosed in a delivery van and it was in perfect condition. Delivery driver was very good and knowledgeable.
Dont use them ever, the fees that they charge are super high and are percentage based, whic is total bullsh##. STAY AWAY!
Hi Bob,
Thank you for your feedback. Since uShip is an online marketplace that serves both shippers and carriers, all users are required to pay a service fee that goes towards maintaining our site so that we can continue to offer services like easy billing and member support services to all our users, seven days a week. When booking, there is a service charge paid directly to uShip. This is not a set fee, and is calculated based on the commodity you are shipping. The service charge is listed along with the official bid price and total amount due on both active bids and at checkout.
If you have any questions or concerns, please email [email protected] so we can assist you further.
Beware! Beware! Beware! Uship does not care if your belongings are stolen!
I had two vehicles in transit and both were stolen, along with memories, powertools and various other miscellaneous items added to the cargo. When speaking with Danny T via email, mind you, they won't even call you from the Loss Department, he proceeded to continuously be unhelpful, and continuously tell me that they can't move forward with my case. They've denied my case, even after providing a Police Report of my stolen items. They've also refused to reimburse my Protection Plan amount, with no reason given. It's been close to 2 months and all i've heard from them is "We can't move forward with your case."
DO NO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! They will turn their back on you, even when you do the right thing and purchase a protection plan.

The shipment was picked up several times and then cancelled, we received the truck a week later than planed

Great experience. Great correspondence. Very professional. I would highly recommend to friends and family.
Rate doubled after delivery, come to find out after talking to a service rep. It was on their end, bc their system doesn't auto calculate for over size. Not my problem right? Still disputing for money back
Hi Dennis,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Service providers are able to discuss all costs associated with their bids, including oversized items, before a price is agreed on. If you have not done so already, please contact our support team at (800) 698-7447 or [email protected] to address this situation.
We contracted with a delivery service through UShip for a fair price (there were 3bids). The delivery went smoothly and on time. The delivery driver helped us launch our boat and get it going. He was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout. He communicated and kept us up to date on his progress.
Shipper was on time. Great experience.
Very respectful and responsive.
The shipment arrived safely.
We were very satisfied and grateful we chose Ray to transport our trailer 2500 miles. It arrived on schedule. Communication was great, Ray is so pleasant and considerate. We'd definitely rely on Ray again and recommend him to friends. Such a pleasure meeting you.
Hi William and Sherri,
We're incredibly grateful for your review! Your kind words mean a lot to us, and we're delighted to know that you had a great experience with uShip. Thank you for your support, and we look forward to working with you again soon!
Please be patient. I waited 3 days to get the best deal. It was half the price of all the other offers. My shipper was awesome fully insured and even gave me pointers on how to ride my new motorcycle. I'm a novice, he informed me of the websites habits of doing system updates often and during peak times for bookings. Wonderful service. Thank you Jeremy!
Hi Sherry,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We're so glad you were able to save money on your motorcycle shipment! We are always eager to receive user feedback on our site, and we will pass along the information you received from your transportation service provider about our site updates.
Thank you again for the review. We look forward to working with you again in the future.
We had to have our equipment shipped across the country within a very tight and uncertain schedule with other work in multiple states.
Once booked, the actual date for pick up kept changing.
John is prompt with answers/input, flexible and stays in touch through out the experience.
Wish I had researched them before I gave my information. They started spamming me with texts without me consenting to it the minute I submitted a request for quote. Read the reviews at consumer Affairs. They hire out to ANYONE, and people have had items stolen and vehicles held hostage, and getting things back is a nightmare because it takes a civil case against uship and whatever nefarious 3rd party the hire. STAY AWAY!
uShip.com touts low shipping rates but this is all a scam. The carriers and uShip.com bait and switch after you book your shipment and it is delivered, they hit you with HUGE fees claiming that additional charges are necessary due to extra services. Extra services? They CHARGED $150 saying a lift gate was needed at pickup ($75) and delivery ($75) which is completely false. On top of that, they claim zero liability when the shipment is 10+ days past delivery. This company is strictly in it to scam users. STAY AWAY. It might look like a sweet shipping deal you are getting but trust me, you will get billed up the rear after the delivery.
I bought a vehicle and it was stolen Through this company and this company is not willing to help in any type of way
I was looking to have a car shipped to me and their rates were significantly higher than competitors. A lot of brokers will cause huge price increases. Do not use this site. Prices should be immensely competitive not super high.
There is an online Company called "Uship." On their website, it says "Ship With Confidence Guarantee." What they do, is they list thousands of third party providers (shipping companies), who will offer bids on the items that Consumers need shipped, from Antiques, to cars, to household items, long or short distances. It says it will automatically compensate you for up to $500 in the case of damage or loss. It also advertises "all risk protection," and "faster reimbursements." I offered a listing of 2 Antique Church Windows that I purchased online, that were located in Athens, TN. I accepted bids through Uship for a shipper to carry them to me in Trinity, NC. I paid $525 for the windows and I have a receipt. I purchased $50 worth of insurance on Uship, to cover my $500 item that I listed to ship. Apparently Uship claims to insure items up to $500 anyway, so was my $50 of insurance I purchased to help me regain an additional $500 if lost, stolen or damaged? If not, why was I not informed the $50 was not necessary? That was very unclear. I have shipped other items before using Uship, and luckily had no problems. I accepted a bid from a Stevia Franko for $290 to bring my church windows from Athens, TN to me in NC. I was charged a $27.90 service fee by Uship, and $50 for the Insurance, making my total bill $367.90
The way it works, is the consumer receiving the shipment should only release the payment once the items are delivered. The Shipper very quickly began to show signs of negligence and dishonesty. I gave her to contact name & number of where to pick up the windows. She rescheduled approximately 4 times, and I decided I was going to cancel the shipper and try a different one. Before I could get to the computer to cancel, the shipper picked up the items, and while they were in her possession, she asked me to release the payment before they were delivered. She said she didn't have gas money to deliver the windows. This was very alarming. I refused to release the payment. She wound somehow in Nashville, TN with my windows, and said she could not deliver them after all. Luckily I had a friend in Nashville, who I was able to persuade her to drop them off with. My windows are now 3 hours farther away from me than they were before, and in my friend's way, as they are being kept in his garage and are very fragile. I have placed another listing for the window delivery on the site, not knowing any other way to get them here. It will certainly cost more than the $290 I agreed to pay for delivery now that they are 3 hours father away. The bids I am seeing online now to bring my window from Nashville, TN to Trinity, NC are almost $800! Uship refunded me $317.90, but they won't refund me the difference I will have to pay to get them here now, which is looking like it will be around $500. They won't pay me any of the $500 they claim I paid to insure this shipment, or any of the $500 they claim to automatically offer with every shipment. Instead they gave me a "credit" of $50 to use their site again. I have reached out to Uship to inquire as to whether the $50 credit would include another insurance policy on another shipment, or if I would have to pay an additional $50 to insure the next shipment, when it already says they guarantee every shipment up to $500 automatically. They said the $50 credit is only for their "service fee," so if I have to ship using them again, I now have to pay them an additional $50 which I will never see again. I would not have purchased the windows if I had known this could even happen. I would not have used Uship, had I known they would not refund me the entire amount, or even for the difference it will now cost. Their practices are deceptive, and the average consumer cannot know that they are deceptive. Their policies are fraudulent. Uship should not offer words on their site like "We help you ship with confidence," and words like "All Risk Protection." All risk should be all risk. Even when a shipper goes awol for two days, and delivers an item father away than they were to begin with, leaving me to find another way to get my shipment to me. Instead of faster reimbursements as they offer, I was given none. Only a credit, so essentially I paid a Company $50 to make my delivery harder to get, and I will lose more money as it will cost more to get them delivered now.
I am a trucker with all permits, etc. Uship operates and promotes lots of illegal activity nationwide
Uship is knowingly maintaining a vendor that has fraudulently taken our payment and our very important files and lied throughout the shipping process. They refunded us but we still don't have our items since January 4th. They have ignored our request to have the vendor removed.
THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A "FREE MARKET". YOUR SITE PROMOTES PRICE FIXING. IF I SEND OUT AN RFQ, WHICH IS WHAT I'M DOING WHEN I LIST. THERE IS NOT ONE REASONABLE REASON TO LET ALL YOUR PARTNERS SEE THE QUOTES GIVEN. I HAD TO CANCEL A BID TO REDO SOMETHING ON IT AND THE QUOTES STARTED COMING IN DOUBLE. I HAD TWO OUT OF THREE QUOTES ON THE PRIOR BID THAT WERE 50% OF THE PRICES COMING THROUGH, AND NOTHING, NOTHING HAD CHANGED IN TERMS OF WEIGHT OR DIMENSION. EVEN ONE OF THE QUOTES THAT WAS 50% OF COST, DOUBLED THEIR COST. I TOLD ONE VENDOR I HAD QUOTE OF 50% AND HE SAID "YOUR A LIAR, I CAN SEE THE QUOTES". LISTEN YOU JERKS. THAT IS NOT, NOT, NOT FREE MARKET, YOU PRICING FIXING A HOLES! A COMPANY SHOULD BID TO WHAT ITS COSTS ARE, AND HOW IT MEETS THIER SCHEDULE, NOT BECAUSE PRICE FIXING IS IN, AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED TO ME... HOW MANY OF YOUR "CUSTOMERS" HAVE OVER PAID DOUBLE BECAUSE OF YOUR RIP OFF SYSTEM. YOU DON'T HAVE "CUSTOMERS", YOU STEAL FROM THEM, TAKING A PERCENTAGE FROM PRICE FIXING. YOU MIGHT END UP SUED SOMEDAY, CLASS ACTION... LEADING YOUR 'CUSTOMERS" TO BELIEVE THEY ARE ON A BID PLATFORM THAT THEY CAN TRUST. THEY CANNOT, THERE IS NOT ONE SINGLE REASONABLE REASON THAT YOU CAN GIVE FOR DISCLOSING ALL THE PRICING TO THESE TRANSPORTERS. THIEVES! YOU WILL GET SUED EVENTUALLY. I MAY TALK TO SOME FRIENDS OF MINE, YOUR LUCKY I'M NOT AN ATTORNEY... BUT IT WILL HAPPEN!
This is the first time I ever shipped a vehicle. Setting it up was pretty easy. The next day I got a call that the driver will be at my home within a hour and a half. The driver never called but showed up. While loading the vehicle up I asked numerous questions. I asked about when the vehicle was going to be delivered. It was on this past Friday 12/30/22, he stated he was headed to Chicago to pick another vehicle up and then stay the night there. He stated that on Saturday 12/31/22 he will drive to North Carolina and drop off the truck. The truck did not show up on Saturday. The truck did not show up Sunday or Monday morning. The weather was not bad on the route so I figured there was no weather delay. I began calling every number I could find for Uship and Orion and was unable to get in touch with anyone. I emailed everyone I could also. Finally after several hours I heard back from Uship. They stated that they too were unable to reach anyone at Orion. I was very frustrated and was going to file a stolen vehicle report. Without any notice the vehicle showed up in North Carolina Monday afternoon. I am not rich so this vehicle is very important to me and my son. My son had to borrow a friend's vehicle to get back to base in time. Uships' lack of communication with Orion caused much frustration and inconvenience. More than they know.
Hi Michael,
Thank you for the kind words! We're happy you were able to connect with a great carrier to ship your motorcycle. We look forward to working with you again in the future.
