My experience with this company started months ago. I ordered my Mother this lovely looking top for Mother's Day that said it would be shipped out within a week. A week goes by and no shirt, I contact them and they send a bogus tracking number. I let them no it's bogus, then they say the order is delayed for 6 days. Then it gets delayed again and again. I just have to buy another gift bc this doesn't come when they said. Then way later I get this horribly ugly swimsuit that is useless, and a wrenched cheaply made blouse that is nothing like what was advertised that I ordered. I contacted them again, but never got my blouse. I started looking through their site after I realized what was going on, and I have figured out what they are doing. They are using higher end clothing pictures from other sites and putting them on theirs. The majority of their site is fake! If you order these nicer higher end items, they do not even have them. I tried to get PayPal to make it right, but these bogus companies are so good at scamming people. They have something to prove a package was delivered and the customer can't prove it wasn't what they ordered. It's not fair, and it should be illegal! I got scammed, and no one helped me. I decided to put this review out here publicly bc I don't want anyone else to fall prey to these people. It only has one star bc I had to give it something.
I just discovered this brand a few months ago, and I am in love! Their dresses fit true to size, are high quality, and most have pockets! I feel like a princess when I wear them. I have really high standards when it comes to my clothes, and these dresses do not disappoint. I now own 15 dresses from UV and I haven't had any issues.
On a recent order, they did send me the wrong size petticoat in error. Because I'm in Canada and they are in the USA, it wasn't a straightforward return process. I asked how they could help pay for the shipping back since the error was made on their end.
To my surprise, they immediately refunded me the cost of the petticoat! I was then told that the incorrect size was mine to give away if I chose and I could then order the correct size again. The decision they made saved me so much hassle, and it meant I could immediately order the petticoat I needed instead of waiting for the return. I already loved this brand, and now I'm extra happy with their customer service!

I ordered my wedding dress but there was a problem with the shipping and I didn't receive it. After contacting the customer service, they called the company back, and we could finally find where my dress was. Great job.
I needed a skirt for a funeral, and thought, UV will probably have something! I placed an order last week, for in-store pickup, and was surprised to learn that they were moving locations, so my item wouldn't be ready nearly as soon as I had thought (this was my fault - I missed the notice!). Anyway, Liz and her team were absolutely wonderful. They were able to make sure my items were sent over to the new location for me to pickup before the funeral, and with time to spare. A wonderful experience.
I love this place! The dresses are affordable, great quality. True to size. Huge variety. When ever I have had an issue, they helped me quickly, and professionally. Some of the best sales! First time customer who had to return 2 items that didn't fit out of 4 items I ordered. I had nothing but helpful customer service, and I like that they issue a voucher immediately upon return if you want to get another item in place of the one that didn't work. I will definitely be shopping them again.
I love shopping at Unique Vintage. The clothes are not crap, they are really nice. Their return policy is generous, easy and quick. I had some issues getting into my account and a customer service rep helped me really quickly to get back in. Great clothes, great service.
Beautiful dresses that feel like they are tailor made to my shape! Hard to find when my measurements are 46/42/55 hip. Very pricey as 2 dresses came to $187 with taxes and shipping costs but when I tried them on I almost cried bc I found items that FIT and made me feel beautiful! I am 256lbs and these dresses served me well in that they disguised my FUPA!
So Unique Vintage's website is FULL of cute items. However, I think it is ridiculously overpriced for made in China quality. I'm disappointed over and over on how poorly made their clothing is. I'd say it's on par with Walmart quality. Their return policy is not the greatest and takes a long time. If I want to spend some money on a pretty vintage-style dress, I go over to pinupgirlclothing.com and pick out something lovely that is EXCELLENT quality, and is also owned and made in the USA.
Unique Vintage has amazing size inclusivity! I'm big, always have been, and I used to hate shopping, especially dress shopping. But I've now gotten 2 dresses from Unique Vintage that I absolutely LOVE and that I feel beautiful wearing.
I love the dresses from Unique Vintage- they're always great quality and super fun. My last order got lost in the mail, and the customer service was wonderful. Super sweet and understanding. I really appreciated it!
After my initial sign up in April I received my 1st dress no problem. It was a nice dress. On May 15 my bank account was charged $57. I excitedly waited and no dress came. On my UV account dashboard it stated "Unfulfilled" as to my order status, it showed a photo of the dress that I was supposed to receive. On June 15 I was charged $57 again and upon checking my UV account dashboard it showed the May order unfulfilled and now the June order with a photo of the same dress as shown for May both orders were "unfulfilled". I emailed the customer service, received a response from an Emma Farley who wrote that there was "a computer synching issue" in May which resulted in my order not being delivered. Emma Farley stated that a refund for May was issued. Upon checking my bank account no refund has been issued I've been charged $57 twice and have no dress. Which means for the one dress I did receive in April, I've paid $171.00 not including taxes and shipping this is BS! I emailed the company this morning to ask for my subscription to be cancelled and my money refunded. I'd like to call but their hours are 9am-3pm, some of us with daytime jobs are not able to call within this very limited phone customer service time. Maybe that is their plan?
First of all, I absolutely love their collections. Second, everything is fun and unique and designed with all body type in mind. The sizes are always accurate to the sizing chart, and the quality is great. I've ordered from them many times since I found them a few years ago, and I will keep buying for as long I can! Finally, the customer service is excellent; I received the wrong item with my last order, and since they don't exchange International orders, they gave me a full refund and told me to keep the item to do as please. Another time I purchased a gift card for a friend not realizing we couldn't use it on international orders (were Canadian), and they refunded me immediately with no hassle at all!
I received my order and everything looked just as I expected! I bought two pairs of shoes, earrings, and a purse. I have a bunch of purses so I haven't had a chance to use the new one yet, I went to use it today when I noticed a cut on the front of the bag! I was nervous because it's been a little over a week and on the website it said I only had up to 48 hours to exchange a damaged item. I quickly emailed their customer service and sent them photos mainly to prove I really haven't used it! They instantly apologized and sent me a return label and ordered me a new one. I was blown away by how fast and considerate Sylvie was. I'll definitely be ordering again very soon! (She even complimented my nails)
I love the style of clothing offered and I always keep trying but every single item I've ever bought from them, with the exception of the Hell Bunny line they sometimes carry, their clothes fall apart or look horrible after 1 or 2 wears. I wish it weren't so.
First off, I was so excited for the catch of the day sale! Plus the added excitement of a surprise? What could go wrong? Well... Everything. The shoes were so horrible and ugly. They were red sneakers and just about the only thing "vintage" about them was the cherry red color. Honestly, red sneakers from the "forever" shoe brand that my local walmart carries. They would sell for 10 dollars at wallmart. Eew. The bottoms I ordered were 2 of the exact same product. And it was also super ugly. The Davi and Dani brand is a wholesale brand that mass produces items. They were put together horribly, lopsided pleats and darts, and horrible tailored legs. They had an ugly elastic back waist that would flatter no one. I am not overweight at all and they made me look like I had a tire around my waist. Eew again. Of course, the Catch of the Day sale is final. No returns, no refunds, no exchanges. So I now have 2 identical pairs of horrible ugly non vintage vibe pants, and a pair of walmart shoes. I will never buy from them again. Be wary of the possible disappointment of the catch of the day.

I had a great experience with my first time ordering directly from Unique Vintage (I was able to buy first hand from a local store of my home-city, but I don't live there anymore), and hands down Sylvie was amazing, and fast to respond. I really appreciated that, as I thought I messed up the order! (But I didn't so yah for me Lol!) so thank you! And can't wait for my order to arrive!

Customer service has been EXCELLENT! Sylvie not only responded immediately to an email my daughter sent with a question she had, but she also handled a problem that was completely my fault - after hours, and within minutes of me sending the email - when she really didn't have to. It's rare to see such great service - super friendly, too. This was our first time ordering from this company, and we're international customers - but it won't be our last!

Answer: I went off their sizing chart and everything fit perfect. Some dresses has different sizing measurements so not all XL are the same. I am guessing it is because of the material. One of the dresses I bought was 2 sizes smaller than I usually buy and it fit perfectly
