Rude $#*! uber

An uber picked my friend and i up from the bar the first thing he says to us is wow what a $#*! hole ur at right now. We laugh it off and then he goes i can't believe i just drove 39 minutes for a 3 minute uber ride which then we apologize for and say we'll leave a good tip. He then gets into the conversation of queer people and says that a sex change should be referred to as a "give me a $#*! please surgery". We were weirded out but stayed silent and then he said thank god pride month is over. My friend and i got out of the car screamed happy pride left a 0$ tip and wrote a horrible review.

Law suit justified

Uber will,and should continue to face law suits until they learn how to conduct business in a manner that is safe for riders and do a proper accessment of drivers. The drivers whoo are good, are treated like crap.

Calling customer service is a JOKE. If you don't say what the auto robot is asking for you go nowhere
I could not get a tip charge credited. I needed to ask about numerous $5 charges and could not ever get a person to speak with me. UBER SUCKS

Why it all the sudden takes hours for ppl to show up to pick somebody up this $#*! is for the birds I was half way down waiting for a ride and you ppl wanna take a ride but sit your $#*! until you want to move that's why you don't make $#*!ing money

An uber driver passed me in a residential area and then slammed on his brakes right in front of me. He then sat there for a few minutes trying to get me to do something. What a jerk. I guess I wasn't driving to his liking. I tried to report his dangerous driving by calling Uber. I got passed around to 4 different people and was going to get passed along to another person. I just got sick of it and hung up. Another strike against Uber.

I sent them a message about how I was treated during a ride a gentleman cancelled because I was disabled and didn't walk fast enough to get in his car ive been working with them for a long time and never had an issue I have many witnesses that seen that man treat me with disrespect and even stood up for me and what did I get as a message that the driver said there was threatening remarks and they don't tolerate that and basically like it was my fault I was livid thanks uber for your help

Typical Uber Driver

I took an Uber to a dealership near where I live it was an $8 trip. The driver seemed pleasant and we chat on the way to the location. Once I got out I realized that I left my keys in the drivers car. It was less than 2 min since I got out of the car. I called the driver on the uber app and the driver became irate at the fact I was asking him to come back with the keys. The driver told me he had just accepted another fair. I tried to tell the driver I would wait and compensate him for the trouble. Before I could get that out the driver went on a rant that I interrupted him while he was talking. I tried to apologize and then he hung up on me. I chatted with uber and they informed me that would notify the driver. He called me back after 3 hours and he informed me that if I wanted my keys I would have to pay him cash for the keys. I told him he would receive the additional money that uber charges for lost items and he stated "No I want cash from you" When I refused he hung up. I called him back and now he is saying that he didn't find my key in his car. WOW has taking an uber come to this I did this trip for for convenience but that is not at all what I got. I had to have 2 new keys made a Total of $527 because I wouldn't let and uber driver extort money from me. I am Extremely disappointed in uber in this interaction.

Wrong commitment

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am very very disappointed with your customer support service, there is no way to contact you where customer can talk to you easily please make your customer support properly, my concern is that i have usually booked a ride for same place mostly Sunday as you can see my previous booking records, but today first time its been done with me that driver has asked me Rs. 271/- rather than Rs. 171/- why driver asked me that much amount and he misbehaved with me when I show my app which is showing 171/- I want call back right now and I am attaching all the relevant screenshots. Please check and arrange call back asap.

We should be able to choose the gender of our drivers. Why isnt there an option to do this? I recently had a ride with a shady male. Unfriendly and did not speak a word of English. Felt abit unsafe. The first ride app who allows this will make me their new client.

Deserve ZERO stars

Walmart Delivery thru Uber where there is apparently no accountability. Driver Juan left my order at another apartment complex & sent the picture of the other address. I called him 8x & he disconnected me. Walmart ssys they can't help as it's Uber. This is the 2nd time my deliveries were wrong thru Uber. Shame on Uber. Shame on Walmart

Yesterday, I took an Uber from the airport to my home in south Surrey. I had made a reservation previously and the total amount disclosed to me at the time of making that reservation was $166.17. This was presented as a lump sum, one number only.

However, when I received my receipt, after the trip, I was shocked to see that I had been charged a $50 "Reservation Fee" plus another $5 "Booking Fee". The Trip Fare itself was only $98.26. This means that the additional fees for making a reservation amounted to 56% of the trip cost itself ($55/$98.26), ignoring the $5 in misc. Other fees. These are not "surge pricing" fees relating to the number of customers during a peak service period. They are simply fees charged for asking for a car.

It is egregious, if not usurious, for Uber to charge such high additional fees in addition to their trip charges.

Had these usurious fees been fully disclosed at the time the reservation was made I would have been better informed in my decision-making process.

I have contacted Uber about this matter but they have chosen to take no further action at this time.

I have loaded Uber App and I am trying to update the app. The app would not able me to update as I enter the 4 digit code. Wasted 20 minutes on the app. Give up and took a taxis instead. Never going to use Uber again. Uber failed me when I want to used in the most critical times.

My wife used Uber once and now they charge us $15 a month. They have no support phone number there's no way to cancel the fee on my credit card less I get a new card pretty good scam/profit enhancement. Watch Out. I emailed them there was no answer or support.

Price gouging

I tried to book a ride home from work. I was quoted $11.94. When I confirmed the price jumped to $35.61. I started over several times to be sure I wasn't doing something wrong. Nope. Same result every time. Forget it. I'm not paying $35. To go 1.2 miles.

Let me start by saying, Uber along with Lyft aren't as reliable as they claim to be. There is no reason why a person should have to wait almost 2 hours for a ride. Not to mention the last drivers or money hungry drivers who will accept the ride request and then immediately cancel. I assume after seeing the rate they're not happy with, they cancel. I've been an Uber customer for years and must say they're way worse than before and I will never deal with them again. And considering how they rip off their employees, it's no wonder it's hard to get rides. What Uber doesn't tell you is that what you're paying for a driver doesn't all go to the driver. Uber takes half of what you're paying for a driver which is why a lot of drivers are picky with the ride requests they receive. Uber along with Lyft should be put out of business!

I just wanted to say I was stranded by Uber. My appointment was in Rome, GA and I live in Cartersville, GA. I was still sitting there when they closed. My insurance company tried the very best they could...still a no show. IDK what's going on with Uber but please re-evaluate your business operations and come back with something better and beneficial. People are depending on you but for some reason you can't do your job.
