It was like watching a soccer game through a fish tank - Brutal!

I have never seen such a bad quality and unreliable payed streaming service like I have with TSN. It is horrendous!
By far a lot worst than cheap free streaming you can find in the internet for games.
I set up my tv with ethernet cable Cat 8 category to make sure I'm getting the best quality and consistent streaming I can get and I don't have any problem with other live streaming services, only with Bell owned ones like TSN.

Starting with adds. Even though you pay for it there are still a bunch of adds playing everytime you are watching, not regular tv comercial, but adds you cannot skip.
As for image quality I'd say that around 5% of the time image quality might reaches 1080p if ever, 95% of the time it keeps switching from 480p to 720p. With most of the time being at something like a 480p. It's disgusting really!
Crashes... again worst then free internet streaming. It crashes A LOTl! While watching the world Cup it happens around 10 times or more. Never seen this before. And to top that, everytime it happens it goes back to main TSN page and you need to find what you are watching, when you do you are forced to watch more adds! I'm talking 10 adds or more of 15 secs each for every time it crashes in a World Cup match for example. You don't get that even in free streaming. Shocking!
I'm not even going to start about how bad TSN is as a sporting channel because just that could be another whole topic.

Got TSN just for the World Cup coverage. Quality is awful and the streaming stops several times during games, even on the phone app. Then when you restart it you have watch an ad, missing more of the game! I'll be canceling for sure

Live streaming does not work, customer service will not help you fix the problem at all. Missed every single game of the World Cup that I wanted to watch as the Live Streams did not work. Called and complained to them about it, and they then gave me only half of my money back. Called them again to fight for the other half of the amount I paid as they tried to rip me off the first time. USE ANY OTHER PAID STREAMING. Run away from TSN! Thieves and liars.

App turns off automatically about 20 times per game stating Network outage but no other app does that…. Commercial comes up when you return back. I believe it's done purposely to show commercials. Miss out quite a bit during each game. Absolutely horrible and will not continue after the World Cup

Terrible app - Even worse service - App crashes constantly. Called Cust. Service on Day 1 of WC - still waiting to hear back - WC is down to the final 8 now. They don't care they already have my money. Had to constantly shut down and restart the app for each and EVERY game so far. The app crashed 15 times before I stopped counting how many times it would crash, and missed the Portugal vs. Switzerland match. I have to make alternative arrangements so as not to miss any more matches. Find something else, ANTTHING else if the game is of any importance to you.

Only choice to watch the World Cup without having cable is to download TSN. Picture quality is abhorrent, and stream cuts out very frequently. After each cut out, I have to reset, and watch a series of commercials before getting back to the game. Lots missed! Extremely frustrated with this (lack of!) service!

Any kind of quick action causes jittery screen.Watching NFL and football disappears as it travels through the air, and players flicker when running. That's what happens when you have no competition in Canada. Only 2 ways to stream NFL - TSN and DAZN, and both are horrible, but we have no other choices. These companies have no reason to improve their product because we are stuck with them. I have my Roku hard wired (ethernet) with 120 Mbps - it ain't my internet service thats the issue. No issues with Netflix, Disney, etc.

Bought the subscription to watch my favorite Worldcup match. Didn't work. TSN kept asking me to login to watch the live stream while I was logged in!
Asked Customer support for refund. Just said SORRY ITS NONREFUNDABLE.

TSN World Cup games today were lagging a lot, which is unacceptable for a a paid service. I imagine they could get away with that because of being the only channel having the World Cup rights in Canada, which I imagine I have to thank CRTC for.

Absolute garbage! Ads before going into every game. Videos shut down in the app and stop working, not available on Roku despite being advertised as it does. The fire tv app is hard to navigate. Doesn't look like a big selection of games.

Horrible quality, video buffers at the lowest setting and always at the point where there is a goal or for the last 15 minutes of the world cup games. What was wrong with watching tv on TV! Streaming should be abolished; it doesn't work anyway. All this internet usage can't be good for global warming, put your hand on the modem, it's giving off so much heat and we get nothing in return but frustration and a spinning red circle.

Being in Canada we need to watch games back on demand due to time differences in Qatar.
There is 3 MAJOR flaws on the TSN app.

1. I have to scroll past the highlight videos of each match that has been played just to get to videos of full matches. Who wants to watch a game they already know the score for?

2. Matches are not even labelled for the videos on demand. Every single video is just the FIFA world cup logo, no name, game time, team etc. Nothing. So I have to go through to find what match Im looking for.

3. Lastly, matches should be readily available to stream within an hour of them finishing. Sometimes matches are not available for hours, or even longer!

A useless service that I only subscribed for so that I can watch the world cup. So happy I can cancel this junk within a month. Never again.

"Misery has company" should be title of this site! Zero stars available from my experience!

I should have taken that extra step and looked up the negative reviews on TSN Streaming before buying the subscription...kicking myself big time! It was $119 for the year and I am getting the FIFA world cup but it doesn't look like there will be any Canucks games televised unless they play the Leafs of the Habs. So that's very disappointing (but then so are the Canucks)
Oh well, another lesson learned...take the time and do the research before signing up.
So far these are my observations both good and bad regarding the TSN streaming service.
- some games are in 576p (maybe ok for my 24" PC screen but not my 65" TV)
- site is very confusing to navigate...it definitely needs work and lets hope they improve that.
- It would be nice if there was the option to turn off the scores.
- TSN says they will air some major league golf events and NFL so lets see how that all pans out.

I am hoping that there service expands to the NHL teams in the West (Toronto is not the centre of the universe) and that there will be more NHL games streamed.

I too paid a months subscription to watch the World Cup but I have never been able to sign in. The fraud seems to be widespread and although this doesn't make me feel any better about being ripped off I now know that it is not something I am doing wrong. Did anyone ever get their money back?

80% of the games on resolution that looks like a Youtube video ripped from VHS! Very subpar compared to dazn or fubo

You pay your subscription and then all you see ads, and then "Service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later." And it didn't happen only one time, but several times. How is this possible, we are paying for a service that we don't receive. And you can't get a refund. Make yourself a favor and do NOT subscribe to TSN.CA

I subscribed to TSN direct to watch the Qatar WC and it was a complete disappointment. Every match I have watched has had a buffering issue, quality issue, or completely lost connection. I have a download speed of 100mb/sec so my WIFI is surely not the issue as I had no issue of this kind before.

In addition to the awful connection, the halftime team is made of complete unentertaining and underwhelming, they should stick to commenting on American Football.
