SCAM & Fake
August 10, 2023

Total bucket of sh!t and not a review site. They remove genuine reviews, such a joke.

If I could, I would give 0 starts. THIS site must alter people's opinions and judgements what's REAL and what's FAKE. This site should be banned, locked and never run again.

They allow scammers to buy reviews even though it is against their policies. They allow scammers to repeatedly flag and hide the same reviews over and over again even after they are verified. They do nothing to protect the integrity of the content on their site whatsoever. I have to constantly watch my review of a fraudulent business to make sure it stays online so it can prevent people from being taken advantage of. Every day my review is offline cancer patients, people with thyroid conditions and alopecia are being taken advantage of by a grifter because they cannot find any negative reviews of this company. Trustpilot has been given a pethora of evidence. They just shrug their shoulders, say I understand how you feel and do nothing but put it back online where it can get flagged and hidden again. Sometimes almost instantly. So if you're a scammer and you want to be able to bully and harass those with legitimate grievances, Trustpilot is for you.

Trustpilot is paid by the company that you review to source and maintain reviews. This naturally creates a conflict of interest. Trustpilot reaches out after a year and demands proof to keep negative reviews published, knowing that after a year they are very unlikely to get a response, especially with 'proof'. This is a dirty tactic ensuring very few negative reviews remain published.

Corrupt, Dirty, Filthy, Scammy, Untrustworthy
August 4, 2023

The 5 four words above accurately describe the operation of the website as a whole.

A few days ago, I uploaded a negative review of CS.MONEY, a skin trading website that is undoubtedly one of the worst and scammiest websites I've ever used. They forced me to deposit large amounts of money in order to withdraw 'skins' that I didn't even have!

A few days later, Trustpilot contacted me informing me that my review was going to be taken down because it was not 'honest'. What the hell do you mean? The experience that I had on CS.MONEY was completely genuine, and I was only trying to deter potential customers from being defrauded by the site!

Looking at the way Trustpilot operates, I'm not surprised by how CS.MONEY has such great reviews. It's clear and obvious that Trustpilot removes ANY negative reviews of the corporations that bribe and pay them, regardless of whether the reviews were truthful or not (just like how some soccer teams pay referees to get more favourable calls). Trustpilot are a bunch of corrupt, dirty, filthy scammers, and I hope that one day they will get the retribution that is undoubtedly coming to them.

Please do NOT, under ANY circumstances, use Trustpilot for ANY reason. Stick to other review websites, like Sitejabber, that actually provide an honest reflection of the corporations that are being reviewed. Trustpilot's poor rating on this website is completely accurate.

To CS.MONEY and Trustpilot, I have only two words to describe you: institutionally corrupt. Try taking THIS review down!

After a horrible experience with MY PERFECT RESUME, I saw that Trustpilot had an unreal number of 5-star reviews. I noticed many of the comments were stating incorrect information about their services. I tried to leave my experience and was asked to give an ID number before it would be posted. I do not have an ID number. I asked Trustpilot where I would find my ID number. They responded by removing my negative review from their site. WHAT? After researching other review sites, I found MY PERFECT RESUME is everything terrible and very much a scam. Trustpilot has some scams going on themselves. I am disappointed because I have relied on them and know many people think it is legit.

Disappointing
July 31, 2023

3 months ago I reviewed facebook market to alert people of the rooms/houses scammers, posting all over the place. I also reported this matter to the email I found on the Gov website, alongside with the email conversation from a lady who tried to scam me with an apartment. A couple of days ago, I was reviewing something else and I found out that, out of the blue, Trustpilot blocked my account. I got in touch to ask explenation and they said my facebook review, from 3 months earlier, could not be verified for lack of proofs which I need to send to them if I want my account to be unlocked. I was complitely shocked. I explained that has been long time since that review and I no longer possess those emails, which could have been reasonable to ask at that time and I would have been more than happy to provide. They didn't care basically. My account is still blocked lol.

RIp-off mentality
July 31, 2023

Trust Pilot is one of those companies that because of their size, manipulate you into joining them to off-set the influence they have. On TP your website will have a poor score and a few spurious reviews they have collected for you. You have to join to set the record straight, bring in legitimate reviews and get a legitimate review score. Once in, they ramp up the rates beyond belief. Avoid!

I wrote a positive review about Sitejabber on Trustpilot. Here is what I wrote in my review "My friend recommended the Sitejabber website to me after I had a bad experience with an online purchase.
I have been referring to all the reviews before I make any purchases online. Thus far, the reviews on this website are spot on and have not steered me wrong.
Highly recommend to all online shoppers."

Trustpilot decided not to post it on their website, it went live at 5pm and it was removed at 5pm, citing that they couldn't verify its authenticity. WTH? I read the reviews on Sitejabber to see if that particular online business has good reviews, so essentially TP is claiming they couldn't verify the fact I actually went to the website to read the reviews. Therefore it's a fake review. In what world would their decision make any sense to anyone?
I wrote a negative review about Trustpilot itself about this irrational request on their website. Surprise, surprise, it was removed at a lighting speed. Never got to see the light of day.
It is obvious TP is deliberately removing positive reviews about their competitive review platform - Sitejabber. While removing negative reviews about itself to boost its own rating.
How can one trust the reviews on Trustpilot where they removed reviews to benefit themselves? There is NO TRUST, just a plot to make money with a biased website. Readers beware of all the positive reviews about TP's about itself. It's a shameless self promotion of its credibility!

Has a tonn of extremely dump users that just put some $#*! without facts. World known superbrands has 1star usually, caused by joke customers who didn't read any terms or other info about products. Totally joke. Don't believe this monkes as they literally zero iq. Believe only self experience and trustly professional peoples. Babons shouldn't influence on your opinion. Take care.

They don't accept genuine reviews, even after providing proof. They just look for another excuse to get rid of the reviews they don't like. I can see why everybody else is so "happy" with this service.

I purchased Eargo 7 hearing aids in May of 2023. Loved them! Gave a 5 star rating on trustpilot only to have their "censor bot" remove my review. Asked them to reinstate my review but they wouldn't contact me to let me prove I was an actual customer. This is a really shady review site that seems to be shaping opinions based on their agenda.

I made a review on a website that was overcharging people for products and I made a review letting people know. They took it down to protect the shady company what's the point of reviews when putting one in this website just removes it? So rip customers off is the thing this site promotes.

I reported a review on a company and they asked it to be removed as they said it wasn't a valid review. They asked for proof I dealt with the company provided a response email that had references # as well as a claim number. TRUSTPILOT asked for browser history to prove I visited the site. TrustPilot can't be trusted.

I wrote a negative review of a business and it was on their website for over a month. Then all of a sudden, Trustpilot removed it because they couldn't verify the authenticity. They give you the option to convince them otherwise. When I send them what they wanted, their content integrity team ignored it. They couldn't be bothered to reply, let alone restore the removed review. It's an unprofessional company!
I wrote a positive review on Sitejabber today. This time Trustpilot removed the review immediately, and they suspended my account. All I said was I refer to Sitejabber reviews before making a purchase online. It goes to show TP has no integrity when they deliberately remove positive reviews about their competitor!
I wonder how many people who wrote a positive Sitejabber reviews received the same email from TP "your review of sitejabber.com has been flagged because we couldn't verify its authenticity, and on that basis we've removed your review from our platform."
It is completely illogical that Trustpilot operates as a review platform when all they do is remove reviews arbitrarily or purposefully without good reason!
After my negative experience with Trustpilot, I wouldn't trust it as far as I could throw them. They are a biased company!

They should call the service trustbroken. Do not trust the reviews. They remove reviews that businesses pay to remove. My review was within their guidelines and they still removed it. Obviously fool.com paid trustpilot to remove my -not even so negative- review of them.

Allowing reviews to be published on a company without any proof, checks that the review is real or indeed that company having an account with Trustpilot, is nothing short of criminal. They allow a review to be published in an effort to attract that company into opening an account to gain more reviews, to compensate for an initial fake negative one which has been published. Shocking procedure.

Here are the reasons why Sitejabber is better than Trustpilot. I wrote a review on Trustpilot, and it got removed as they couldn't authenticate my verify my experience and want me to send them proof. I sent the email trend to them and got no reply. So I followed up with an email a few days later. No reply from Trustpilot.
I signed up with Sitejabber, I sent them an inquiry, and they replied within a day and answered my query.
In summary, Trustpilot removed my review despite receiving proof of my experience. They don't bother to answer emails, whereas Sitejabber has replied promptly.
I wrote a positive review on Sitejabber, but Trustpilot removed it straight away. It is blatantly obvious that Trustpilot wants to sabotage its competition's reputation and creditablity.
It makes me wonder how many negative reviews are true since some negative reviews don't make sense.
A trustworthy company will conduct itself professionally and operate its business with integrity. They will learn from their mistakes and do better. That is NOT Trustpilot!
