I could not imagine having a better first experience house sitting anywhere else! Seth and Lynette were the most gracious, kind, and generous hosts. These are some of the nicest people you could possibly meet. Their little dog, Bella, is so calm and gentle. She has a cute little dance she does if you ask her if she wants to go to the park for a walk.

My time was so relaxed and enjoyable. Seth and Lynette made things incredibly comfortable and simple for me. If you get the chance to sit for them, you should jump at the chance. I'm grateful to have had such an encounter, especially my first time out of the box.

My husband and I have made some lovely friends, humans as well as pets, on our global and UK house sits and it has enabled us to visit places we had never been to before.

Trustedhousesitters has opened up our retirement and given us the opportunity to live like locals in other people's homes, make new friends, and take care of some gorgeous pets.

Everything was great about this sit. Cristine and Tom have a super comfortable home, lovely small backyard and two friendly, one super friendly, cats. Their home was well organized with everything we needed, and the BEST bed pillows in the world! Gig Harbor and the surrounding area is beautiful with lots of things to do and see. If the timing was right we would not hesitate to help them out again. (The app is not allowing me to upload a photo. In our THS photos you will see Phil walking the cat Juji. Yes, Juji loves her leash.)

Very generous owners who provided us with a great first night meal and a delicious cake which we devoured over the course of our stay along with all the essentials to cater for our needs and for looking after a lovely dog.

Would highly recommend this sit and would have no hesitation in applying for another with this couple should the opportunity arise in the future.

I've had the pleasure of being a member of Trusted Housesitters since March 2017 & have had the most wonderful experiences travelling to new places, meeting wonderful people & enjoying the company of such delightful pets (each with their own interesting personalities)!

So one night laying in bed, an ad came up on my fb newsfeed, I usually scroll on by, but this time I didn't, I joined! Getting my profile up and running and being open and honest and transparent was easy. If you're doing this for the right reasons, then the offers are there. Sure you have to apply, almost like a job, put your best foot ( or paw) forward. It's been 10 months now and I haven't stopped petsitting! It's really great. The customer support team are fantastic and only an email away. Absolutely love this site.

We enjoyed staying at Juliet and Martin's farmhouse. The accommodation is old but comfy, especially at night with the wood stove burning. Picking and eating field mushrooms, fresh apples, raspberries and blackberries was a lovely treat. Chilli the cat is very affectionate and we fell in love with Cassie the dog who never seemed to run out of energy. You definitely need a car for this one as it was so far from everything and everyone, except the lovely, friendly neighbours up the lane.

A great experience to sit for Hannah and definitely recommended to others. I arrived the night before to take Maggie out together and it felt so relaxed and I enjoyed it. Also, arriving at Hannah's house, I felt welcomed right away. A beautiful home, with extra bedroom, bathroom and pretty much everything you can dream about as a house sitter.
The neighborhood is terrific, safe, green and quiet to walk around. Also very friendly people and neighbors where ever you walk.
I got used to our little routine of walking, eating, snacking, reading with Maggie next to me. If Maggie wants something, she'll let you know. She won't let you forget her snack. No worries;)
I felt home and am sure anyone else would feel the same.

I joined trusted housitters after doing extensive searching on the web. I am very pleased I joined housesitters international. I wanted to see more of the USA. I wanted to experience the real people and the places. Hotels are just not the same. I also do love animals. They love you so unconditionally. You feed them, brush them, hug them and take them for walks and they think you are the best. Such a morale booster.

I started receiving house sit notifications from the moment I joined. The website is easy to join. The housitters have all been amazing as well. The team at housesitters are available 24/7. They are so helpful and respond so quickly if you need a personal chat.

I can highly recommend to anyone to being part of this wonderful experience.
