They do a great job in providing all the details and information for both the home owner and the potential housesitter. Our house sit was everything and more than we expected.
Trusted House Sitters has given us the opportunity to have some great holidays, a lot cheaper than normal, meeting lovely people & fabulous pets. We have learnt to care for pigs & horses, as well dogs & cats, experiences we wouldn't have had otherwise. Trusted House Sitters has given us the opportunity to go on an adventure.
I am a great supporter of THS. They are a real people company and I feel part of a team. As such they would always score top marks except that the website and app let them down. Difficulty of navigation is the main bugbear. I am constantly asked by HO and HS "how do I do that?" "I can't find my review" etc Also the Chatline is not always available which is important for a global company when you are on a sit not in UK and want to get in touch.
I had known about house and pet sitting through the Internet for a number of years but it wasn't until a friend registered with Trusted House and Pet Sitters than I realised the possible opportunities. She was the one who suggested we register and we were very lucky to get a sitting which has turned into a regular for us. It was a bit slow after that but more lately we have managed to get a number of sits by applying for the shorter sits, just a few days and last minute sits. Since then I have introduced several people to the website who have had sits and a number of others who are very interested including some of the people we have sat for. I have been very enthusiastic about the possibilities if you have a profile that catches the eye of the person looking for a sitter. The reason for the 4 stars instead of a possible 5 stars is that I find the website a bit annoying. Looking through numerous sits and finding when we go into a specific profile to get more details, when we go back to the listings we find ourselves right back at the beginning and have to open all the pages of possible sits and trawl through again before we get back to where we were to continue looking. The other annoying aspect is that the photos posted by people looking for a sitter get cropped by the website cutting off what the photo was supposed to show. The only other negative has been that as we work full time we can only apply for London sits and they are the most difficult to get as everyone wants to sit for someone in London. My friends who registered have taken holidays to do sits away from London which isn't what they had envisaged when they signed up and paid to be included on the website although they massively enjoyed their experiences.
Easy to make contact with home owners and our first sit was easily sorted through a few emails and exchanges. We've recommended the website to many of our friends, and we already look forward to our next sit in a few weeks time.
Trusted Housesitters is a brilliant concept, helping people across the world have someone take care of their homes and precious pets. The backroom staff at TH are very helpful.
We retired two years ago and decided that joining TrustedHousesitters would be a great boost to travel. In addition, we are a complete dog crazy pair, but have now increased our repetoire to include cats, goats, birds and chickens. We have met terrific and welcoming people and travelled to some fabulous places. Animal lovers have a special "kindness" about them and that has been extended to us. The structured approach to the organisation, careful attention to detail, security, emergency management makes the process very straight forward. The feedback and review step keeps accountability at a premium. One of the best post retirement decisions we ever made.

I am sent regular updates for me to choose from both here and abroad. It has been easy to contact people. I have only chosen one house/pet sit which was very successful. I look forward too other sits and support from the site. When I contacted the site they replied immediately with advice.
We have just finished our 5th house/pet sit and could not be happier with the service we've received from trustedhousesitters.com. The information in the "wanted sitter" ads was always accurate and we just loved all the pets we sat for. Our last sit in the Swiss Alps was a "dream-come-true" location with a wonderful dog, a lovely home and delightful hosts. We've recommended the website to many of our friends, and we already look forward to our next sit at Christmas time, when we return to sit at our very first one that set the perfect tone for all future sits. Love it!

These "fur babies" and their owners are awesomely sweet, nice and loved the time I got to spend with their pets. So well behaved were the dogs and cats just so happy for your love. 5 star experience!
I used Trusted Housesitters for 2 years and have had at least six house sits and all were great experiences -- Met wonderful people - and got to see and experience counrtyies that I had desired to visit for many years. The only reason Igave four stars instead of 5 - is because their rates went up too unnecessarily high.
After numerous attempts, we finally connected with a perfect sit with 4 Weimaraner's in a large farmhouse in the south of France. In a word, the homeowner is 'marvelous' and her guidance made our sit go very smoothly. Hope you are this lucky!

I have always had really great house sits/pet sits through Trusted Housesitters. The people, pets and homes are always lovely, and I have enjoyed every moment. Great follow ups and trusted service.
. I've thoroughly enjoyed at least ten housesits to date and all have been positive in their own way, comfortable homes, easy to care for pets and an opportunity to explore new horizons. Pets are so adaptable and it's such a better option for them to remain at home in familiar surroundings.
The website is easy to navigate and assistance has been prompt when necessary.
