Horrible company! I order flowers to be delivered next day. Next day comes and I got an email, not a phone call but an email saying that they were having issues delivering to the area and is it ok if they're delivered on Monday (this was a Friday). Said ok, heard nothing on Monday so I emailed them back for an update in late afternoon and got a response that they're waiting for new driver, they'll deliver it first thing on Tuesday or they can give me a refund. I emailed back and asked if it was going to be definitely delivered on Tuesday and received a response back of a refund confirmation. I was in tears as this delivery was to my grandmother who has days left to live. Very unprofessional and horrible service/customer service.
My son and daughter n law are based in Abilene Texas. They are expecting their first child today. So I ordered flowers and balloons. Never received balloons. I called to asked about the balloons and she was very rude and send a email and bye all in one sentence. I WILL never order flowers from here again. That's a shame I live in Ohio and this company runs a business like this. I wish I didn't have to give you a star to comment on this site!
Stay away from this company. They will take your money then they call the closet florist near you ask for a crappy arrangement pay them half what you paid keeping the other half and not caring what you get. If you call of email them they will offer you a discounted refund and if you accept they usually dont give it. Then when you call days after asking for your refund they will tell you to call the bank sl you will have to file a dispute then they avoid the bank calls keeping your money and letting the bank lose money by refunding you something they should have been doing. Stay away. They lie cheat deny responsability and dont care about anyone besides themselves.
I Google this establishment because I want to support a local business so I ordered flowers formy best friend who has cancer and she is doing a walk for cancer... Day before her cancer walk I wanted flowers delivered to her house... The moment they were supposed to be delivered I got an email ( not even a call) stating he was not able to go through with his order... Now it's too late to send her anything... he didn't give me an explanation or nothing just simply said he was not going to deliver the flowers... Buyer beware... Horrible customer service and now out $100.
My experience with Troy's Florist was unpleasant, to say the least! Ordered a beautiful bouquet for same-day delivery for a friend's birthday. After confirmation, I was contacted and told that delivery wouldn't be possible until the following day. Okay. Then the next morning, I was told that all the local florists they contacted would need $25.00 more to complete my arrangement, as the "all work with more premium flowers". *Sigh* Okay. I immediately e-mailed back to authorize the additional $25.00 charge. An hour later, I received another e-mail saying that I would need to call them, as they no longer had my credit card information from my original order. Oh, and also, that the flower arrangement would now not be able to be delivered until the following day. Grrr. I immediately called the toll-free number provided, and was greeted by a nearly unintelligible "Florist, please hold". After waiting on hold for twenty-two minutes, my call was abruptly disconnected. At this point, I had to start work and didn't get a chance to call them back until early the next morning. After *again* being placed on hold for nearly twenty minutes, a representative eventually came on the line, took my credit card info for the additional $25.00 and assured me that my delivery would be processed as soon as possible as soon as I responded to one final e-mail confirming the additional charges. I did so immediately, and messaged my friend to assure her that her birthday flowers were on their way, albeit two days late. Within an hour, I received one final e-mail stating that no local florists would be able to make and deliver my requested arrangement, and that my credit card would be refunded within five business days. Time will tell, I guess, whether they ever process my refund. :(
Troy's Florist is a complete scam and criminal. I ordered flowers back in July and they claimed they could not make delivery. I have yet to receive refund despite many calls. I am going to contact the Attorney General's office because they have to be stopped at all costs. I suggest everyone that has left a review contact the New Jersey Attorney General and local news station. STAY AWAY FROM THESE THIEVES!
Ordered flowers for a funeral. NO Flowers, NO Refund. Called the number listed, and the woman said she did not have time for my bull@* and hung up on me. STAY AWAY! CROOKS. Karma will come knocking!

This place took our money and NEVER delivered the flowers even after we had received confirmation. The person I spoke to, Mary, was beyond rude and unprofessional! THIS IS A SCAM. DO NOT PURCHASE HERE!
I ordered for a birthday flower delivery in Texas which I was assured was a local florist. I was told it would be $30 more for unseasonal flowers. I paid. Then I was assured it was on the truck for delivery. It was not delivered. I called the following morning and was informed it was delivered and they would call me back. They did not. I called several hours later to be told it wasn't delivered and I would need to be transferred for a refund. I was hung up on. I called again and was immediately hung up on. I called back and said if I do not received my refund and the minute they hang up on me again I would be calling the police for fraud charges. I have a receipt for the refund but it would take 5 days to process. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SERVICE!
This flower shop is a scam. No flowers and no return of my money please do not order from this place
They do not deserve a star at all! I am wondering how many people order from them, and don't realize they didn't deliver anything! They are total garbage! WHY aren't they being reported? (who to report this to?) After questioning WHO to report them to... it is FTC.gov. Federal Trade Commission. Please consider turning them in with me, so that we can get whomever it is scamming us... removed from the business of doing so!
Lie # 1 told me they were a florist in Marietta, GA. They are in NJ Lie # 2 ordered an arrangement titled My hero with a flag and small plaque with poem. Cost $155.13 Lie #3 When at the funeral and no such arrangement was there I called Troy Florist who declared they were delivered to the receptionist at 3:30 who also signed for them. I was standing with the funeral director he said there was no receptionist working on Wednesday at 3:30. Lie# 4 When I asked them for the name of the florist, they said they couldn't due to privacy issues. I'm adding pictures of what was ordered and what was received.
I called on the day the flowers were ordered and was told they were on the truck. The next day I was told that no florist could produce the arrangement without my paying $30 more. Bad company!
ORDERED A BIRTHDAY BOUQUET TO BE DELIVERED TO MY WIFE'S PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT ON 8/29 WITH A PROMISED DELIVERY DATE OF 8/29, ON 8/30 AT 11:00 AM I CALLED TO FIND OUT WHAT THE HOLD UP WAS ON THE DELIVERY AND THE GIRL WHO FINALLY ANSWERED THE PHONE SAID SHE WOULD HAVE TO CALL ME BACK TO LET ME KNOW. WELL THEY DIDN'T CALL BUT SENT AN E-MAIL SAYING THEY WERE SORRY BUT THEY FORGOT TO CONTACT ME ON THE 29 TO LET ME KNOW THE FLORIST WANTED AN ADDITIONAL $30 TO COMPLETE THE ORDER, NEEDLESS TO SAY IT WAS TO LATE FOR THE FLOWER DELIVERY EVEN IF I PAYED THE ADDED MONIES, SO I LET THEM KNOW IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS HOW DISSATISFIED I WAS WITH THE UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE AND REQUESTED AN IMMEDIATE REFUND. I RECEIVED AN EMAIL BACK STATING THAT IT WOULD TAKE 3-5 DAYS FOR IT TO BE CREDITED TO MY CARD. AFTER READING THE EMAIL I LOOKED THEM UP ON THE BBB WEBSITE AND SEEN THAT THIS A COMMON OCCURRENCE FOR THIS COMPANY AS THEIR WAS A STRING OF COMPLAINTS ALONG THE SAME LINE AS MINE. DEFINITELY LOOK ELSEWHERE TO PURCHASE YOUR FLOWERS OR BETTER YET JUST CALL A FLORIST IN THE AREA THEY WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO HELP.
I placed an order for a bouquet for my daughter's anniversary. I was quoted a price for which I paid by credit card. I wanted delivery the next day. I received a receipt via email. Several hours later I received an email telling me that they wanted to increase the price by $40. The florist that they jobbed it out to needed more money.So that tells me 1. That you can't trust the price they tell you and 2. They don't do their own design and arranging. The worst possible service!
This business is a scam. They took my order, charged my card and NEVER delivered the flowers. I had to dispute the charge on my card - DONT ORDER FROM TROYS!
My daughters birthday was such an important day and they tried to scam me out of more money at the last minute, saying that they would send a designer choice bouquet, and all I wanted was any kind of plant. Designer choice bouquets mean they get all the garbage that no one else wants. I was devastated!
I wish I could have rated this as a -5. I made the mistake of not reading the 222 1-star reviews before placing my order. I am baffled at how a place like this can stay in business. PLEASE READ ALL REVIEWS BEFORE DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. My flowers were never delivered! The day after the schedule delivery date, I received an email stating that there would be a $30 extra charge. By that time, the occassion had passed. Why in the world would I want to pay an additional $30 for flowers that were scheduled to be delivered yesterday... I requested a full refund. What a waste of time.
Horrible, just horrible. DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST! The day of our Aunts funeral I was promised the flowers would be delivered and they were not. This was so very embarrassing. Horrible company!

Answer: It is a scam! Your order will be substituted for much cheaper (and completely different) flowers. No customer service to speak to on the phone. All issues must go via email.

Answer: That is a good question. It also makes me wonder about a lot of the other sites advertising they are "local". Finally went with 1-800 Flowers. I did find some excellent almost-local florists in nearby Portland Oregon who had the kind of unique arrangements I was looking for, but they don't deliver in Wash. State, possibly a sales tax issue.

Answer: These people have to answer the God himself for this. Share your experience with the ones you sought to comfort... but use it as a way to do something meaningful a little later when the calls and visits stop. Just be sure and dispute the charges IMMEDIATELY with your credit card company.
