Do not ever order from this florist. They said they were a local florist that would make a bouquet for me with certain flowers that I selected and they said they would have to charge me extra. I agreed on that. They charged me $94.00. The flowers were delivered so fast to my recipient that I was suspicious so I asked her to send me a picture of the flowers. It was only a bouquet of daisies and mums when it was supposed to be hydrangeas and roses. When I called to discuss they refused to deliver the agreed upon bouquet and only said that they would refund me 30%. It has been five business days and still no refund. We shall see! But the big deal is that my friend had a miscarriage and I wanted to send her something special, but am sorely disappointed with this company! They lied and cheated me!
Troys Florist claims they can deliver same day, even in an hour if needed. I ordered same-day hospital delivery for my mother following a surgery, and the flowers were never delivered. I live out of state and called the following day, there was no reasonable explanation and they were unable to deliver the flowers the next day as well. Do not use this company.
This florist ignored my online order, never delivered, put me on hold instantly without asking six times and then LIED that they had tried to call me to say they couldn't deliver. Their customer service is NON-EXISTANT! And then had the audacity to say in a sing-song sick voice have a nice day'. AVOID AVOID AVOID!
DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST. Can I give negative 10 stars? I spent $89 for a potted azalea for my sister's 60th birthday. They sent 3 stargazer lilies and a handful of daisies. When I complained, they said, oh well, we have a substitution policy... and refunded me $17. I could have sent my sister $17 and she could gotten a nicer bouquet from Trader Joe's. This website is a scam! How did I get a florist from New Jersey when I searched for a florist in Maine?
I ordered a beautiful flower arrangement with pink roses and white daisies and what I ordered was not what was delivered. It was far from it! See pictures. I wish I had read reviews before buying. They offered to give me a 25% refund, but not a replacement arrangement like I ordered in the first place. They were not willing to give me a full refund.
BEWARE! I don't even want to give this company one star. The basket arrangement I ordered for my cousins funeral was not the arrangement delivered. I ordered the large plants galore basket. It turned out to be Ivey in a basket, no Azalea was put in the basket. The azalea plant is what attracted me to the basket in the first place. I had given specific instructions for the azalea to be pale pink Pam's favorite color. No problem I was told. I added a crystal cross for an extra $20.00 charge. The crystal cross was not received. My aunt is catholic, so the cross was to become a keep sake, in memory of her daughter. When I called the company I was told I had to have a picture for proof. The funeral was out of state in a rural area. I have no way of getting the picture to prove I'm not a Lier. With this being said I paid $112.00 for Ivey in a basket. BEWARE THIS COMPANY IS FRAUDULENT!
This company is running a scam. I ordered flowers that were never delivered. When I contacted them they told me that they could not find anyone to deliver the flowers for the price that I paid. They stated that they had refunded my money, but I was never refunded. When I contacted them again regarding the refund, they told me that there was an issue with their system and they would refund that day. They have never made any attempt to process a refund. Do not order from them. You will regret it.
Do not order from this place. It is a huge scam. Flowers never delivered and my credit card charged and they said that they were having credit refund issues and I have to go to my bank now. I never review anything but if I can help somebody not be scammed here's my review. I added my email screenshot with the scam business.
I should have known when I reached a call center, not a local flower shop. What a nasty scam this is to play with peoples celebrations with a total farce ripoff. No flowers delivered, BS phone operator, no surprise for the recipient, but, one for me!
Like just about everyone else here, I purchased flowers, my credit card was charged, they weren't delivered, I was given a story on the phone that they were out for delivery, delivery never happened, I emailed and was told IN EXACTLY THE SAME WORDS AS THE OTHERS ON THIS PAGE that they couldn't fulfill the order unless I paid $10 more. I declined and asked for a refund, but seeing all these reviews I'm not waiting. I disputed the charge with my credit card company, and these scammers will be called to account. I was told they have to provide specific evidence that they actually provided the flowers or the refund. If they refuse to return the money to the credit card company enough times, they'll lose the right to use the credit card company for payment. Everyone should file a dispute! Let's hold them accountable!
This is the absolute worst company. No flowers, no delivery, and no refund. They put you on hold, insist refund processed, and then tell me the issue is with my bank. RUN.
They claimed the same day delivery. I ordered on Friday around noon and they said they couldn't deliver until Saturday. We said OK and paid with a credit card (total $72 including tax and delivery for a plant. When we heard nothing by noon on Saturday, I contacted them via email because they weren't answering their phone. They replied by email saying it would cost $15 more because of a delivery issue. I emailed back that we would only pay if it was delivered today. It wasn't delivered today and I told them to cancel the order. Now the plant for a grieving friend, whose Mother passed away, won't be getting delivery until after the 3-day weekend-4 days late.
Placed my order just fine but when I called to confirm my order I was put on hold numerous times and after me having to follow up twice, I was told they could no longer deliver my flowers on my requested date. When I started challenging them, they hung up on me. When I called back they hung up on me again. Most inefficient and rude business and will NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.
Biloxi, MS - First, everyone needs to put their location on their reviews. My boyfriend used Troy Florist web-site to send me roses a few days ago for my bday. I left to go out of town and he wanted them to reach the address quickly. As I arrived to my destination I see the arrangement which looked like someone grabbed some supplies from a dollar tree and picked 4 roses with a few lilies and a ribbon. Knowing him I knew he would have never chose such a unfulfilling flower arrangement. It was suppose to be a 2 dozen red and pink rose arrangement and a box of chocolate. I mean the other 20 roses missing clearly were not noticeable? After I found out this flower arrangement wasn't correct I decided to research it myself because it didn't make since. The arrangement sent id say was worth maybe $20 out of the $150 that it cost. I called multiple local flower shops and no one had the address on file. I called Troy's florist and they said they are not allowed to give the name of the shop. Oh and the card on the arrangement did not have the shop's name on it either. I couldn't figure it out. I let it go. Well a few days after I did the research I came across this flower shop on Facebook and it all tied together. The owner has this 1 floral shop(under 1 business name) listed under 2 different names on Facebook. One is "Rose Flowers" and the other is "Rose's Florist". Apparently the word around town she is known for the scams that are exactly what these reviews are talking about. What I've came to conclusion is she must use one of those names as the scam flower shop through Troy Florist. She ups the prices and throws something together that cost less or plain out doesn't deliver. What concerns me more is what about the flower arrangements to others that may be a death or something important and this owner is sending these unfulfilling flower arrangements to people when flowers are suppose to help brighten up someone's spirit, etc. Because after all, it's just the thought that counts? Not someone being a scam artist?
Just like many others, my order NEVER got delivered. Granted, I placed an order on the Tuesday of Mother's Day week BUT, they were for someone recovering from surgery, not Mother's Day. After I was aware that they were not delivered on the day I scheduled them for, I called "Troy's" only to get a VERY rude her telling me that they needed $25 more to make the delivery. After a few words with this person, not cursing, even though I sooo wanted to, I asked for someone else. They told me the same thing. Mind you, I did not receive as much as a phone call or email saying that they were not delivered or my options. They did offer to get my $$ back and after I told them I wanted the flowers delivered for the price I paid online, I was told my $ would be refunded and was hung up on. NEVER AGAIN!
I ordered flowers for my daughter-in-law who recently had surgery. They said the flowers would be delivered today but evening time came and the flowers hadn't been delivered. I reached out to the company and they responded with an email that said "we're so sorry we didn't contact you sooner we tried every florist but nobody could make the arrangement for the amount that we told you. We will need 15 more dollars to get it done the way you wanted it." After hearing this I went online and read multiple reviews of the same problem. This company is a disgrace and I hope everybody reads their horrible reviews. Totally despicable! I hope karma finds them soon! I would give them a zero if I could!
I ordered flowers on 5/7/19 that were suppose to be delivered on 5/10/19. The money was immediately removed from my account but no flowers were ever delivered. When I attempted to make contact with this business I was hung up on several times. The e-mails I sent to customer service went unanswered. After several days I was finally able to get a very rude person on the phone who insured me my money would be returned in full within 2-4 business days. It is now 10 days later and still no refund. I called again only to be told they would put in the refund again and then was immediately hung up on. I believe this is a scam. Stay away from this business and to those who may have had a similar experience, please contact the BBB and file a formal complaint.
This is probably not even a real florist, but it's definitely not located in the cities it claims to be online. The phone number rings, and when they charge your card but the flowers never show up, their online response is "I am so sorry that you were not notified sooner about this. We contacted every florist but they all required more money to do this order. Unfortunately, we would need $20 more for the arrangement. We didn't want to ask you for that. You will be refunded the full amount if you do not wish to proceed. If you do still want the arrangement please call us with your credit card information again so we can process that for you." A business that "doesn't want to ask"? That "contacted every florist" when they claim to be a bricks and mortar florist? Please. Avoid them like the plague. This isn't poor customer service - it's a scam. "You will be refunded the full amount?" Nope, you won't see a dime.
28 hours after ordering the flower arrangement they finally notified me that what I had ordered would actually be $25.00 more than what was stated on their website. They did not offer anything except either a full refund for which I had already paid or that I could call them with my credit card number so they could bill me the additional $25.00! This was a sympathy arrangement and timeliness is very important in situations like this. DO NOT work with these people as they will not work with you, the paying customer.
The worst experience ever! I should have researched and read reviews! But I need next day delivery in the outerbanks. The order never made it, my best friend spent her day without getting a Birthday present. No one told me they wanted $10 more to deliver. Rude girl on phone. No manager l, long hold times no apology. Do not count on them to get your special someone their flowers! I am utterly shocked they are in business!
Answer: Scam. Nothing legit about these guys. Should have read the reviews before ordering with them.
Answer: Thought it was a local company to the area the flowers were tobe delivered. Turns out it's a scam.
Answer: It is a scam! Your order will be substituted for much cheaper (and completely different) flowers. No customer service to speak to on the phone. All issues must go via email.
Answer: Do not use them. This is a scam/fraudulent business.
Answer: And majority of the complaints relate to NON-DELIVERY... that is stealing... Troys Florist has committed CYBER CRIMES... ribbing off innocent people
Answer: That is a good question. It also makes me wonder about a lot of the other sites advertising they are "local". Finally went with 1-800 Flowers. I did find some excellent almost-local florists in nearby Portland Oregon who had the kind of unique arrangements I was looking for, but they don't deliver in Wash. State, possibly a sales tax issue.
Answer: DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM TROY FLORIST! NO FLOWERS for a FUNERAL!
Answer: These people have to answer the God himself for this. Share your experience with the ones you sought to comfort... but use it as a way to do something meaningful a little later when the calls and visits stop. Just be sure and dispute the charges IMMEDIATELY with your credit card company.
