I bought this watch 2 years ago and was initially happy with the quality and look. I got the zebrawood. 2 years in about half of the wooden pieces of the strap are breaking. Since they send a few replacement pieces I exchanged them with the new pieces but the part that attaches to the closing clip is different so I asked if I could purchase that piece to fix my watch. I was told I could either send the watch in to repair for US$50 (I live in Canada) or get a discount for a new watch. This was very disappointing to hear from a company that claims to be Earth-Friendly and Sustainable. To either throw away an otherwise perfectly fine watch or ship it halfway across the continent and back to replace one small piece that probably costs a couple dollars they could easily ship in a small envelope. So obviously they don't walk the talk and the whole earth-friendly claims are just marketing tools. With that knowledge I can and will not support this company anymore.

My wife bought be one as a gift for our wedding, it looked amazing and did all the right things. However after a few years (not being worn I might add as it's for special occasions) I noticed some of the markers have started coming away. I emailed Tree Hut Design about it given it's only a few years old and they said I can pay $50USD to get it repaired.

They come with a 12 month warranty only. I have a pocket watch from my grandmothers grandfather and it still work yet this they only cover a 12 month warranty.

Sadly now I don't wear it because of the markers coming away due to the glue letting go. I would spend you're money with another company who will stand by their product.

Watches are beautiful, but the light wood breaks so easily. Just trying to get the bracelet bigger, some links broke. And then you need to pay for rechange (2 extra added but not enough for all men... really small bracelet)
Very fast answering when writing to costumer service, but it's impossible to get an answer, I exchanged more then 20 emails! It's like they don't read the email, or the others before. I sent pictures with drawings and I still couldn't have the informations or instructions wanted.
For the price of the watches, you really make costumers pay 10$ for a simple link... and if a larger link can't be used because a part broke you have to pay for two to replace it. Very. Disappointed and won't ever again buy from them. 2 stars is only for the look, fast answer for service, but it's a good thing because you're not done after an email if you have any problem...

I've ordered several watches from Treehut and I continue to be amazed. Beautiful craftsmanship, exactly as pictured. They make amazing personalized gifts at very affordable prices. They've always been packaged and delivered with care and arrived sooner than expected. The beautiful gift box it comes is an added bonus.

I had been searching for a watch just like this for months. 1- A wooden watch for men. 2- A wooden watch for men that has rose gold/copper features. 3- A wooden watch for men that has rose gold/copper features, exudes elegance without looking clunky (like most men's watches tend to be, unfortunately). In conclusion, this is a sexy watch that I'm very proud to wear. *If Treehut ever decides to design watches with dark wood and rose gold features, I'll be first in line!

I used the custom watch design to make a simple watch with a leather band. I loved that I could customize the stitching color and the second hand. The case and dial go well together, and I also engraved the back. The engraving is a bit small, but I had a large number of characters, so that could explain it. Overall, I think I paid a fair price for the watch. International shipping took a lot longer than expected, and the shipment was held up in the US for several days, but it arrived unharmed.

My husband and I celebrated our 5th anniversary and I wanted to do a play on the traditional gift of wood for this year. The watch turned out better than I expected and he loved it! I will be ordering more of these watches for special occasions in the future. The mix of metal and wood grain is beautiful.

I receive my order quick, but the watch looked like trash. Very low quality. Instead of wood, it resembles plastic. I am so disappointed. I can't gift my husband this fake looking thing. These people with all the great reviews on the TREEHUT site need to stop. This watch looks and feels like something I bought from the dollar tree or something.

The watch arrived more quickly than expected and is perfect. My husband loves the brilliant blue face and the very lightweight feel. So very pleased with every aspect of this purchase.

I have purchased 2 watches from Tree Hut, one for my son in-law for Christmas (he loved it) and one for my husband for Valintine's day he is a carpenter, so he really loved the beautiful craftsmanship of the watch.

My watch arrived securely packaged and in a timely manner. It was exactly as advertised on the web site. The watch is much lighter in weight than I thought it would be as it is made from wood and granite. It makes a statement. It is a beautiful watch!

I must say I was truly impressed the quality of service and the craftsmanship of this time piece absolutely beautiful made in America delivered on time packaged view packaged beautifully and definitely a unique gift for the person who has everything or for the person who is starting a collection absolutely absolutely love them my husband was super pleased I will be for sure purchasing more for him thank you again... Proud
